That's right, I am a virgin and proud of it. Many people these days are all too happy to loose their virginities, to satiate carnal lusts and gonads. But oh, not me. I strive for purity of mind and spirit, despite living in this descended society.
So friends, it is not too late to reclaim what was stolen from you. Abstain forever, and live in moral purity. You will feel better.

No I won't, but you have fun with that

I've been asexual for my whole life...

Which isn't exactly a very long time.

Which isn't exactly a very long time.

But not over yet, and there are asexuals a lot older than me who also have been asexual for their whole lives.

Nope. It's morning sickness, swollen legs, back pain, constant need to pee, swollen and sore breasts, wasting a fortune on pregnancy clothes, and about 20 hours of labour.

That's a bit more than mere terminology. ;)

That makes no sense in relation to my comment.

I was just talking about responsibility and an interesting ideosyncracy of language, I wasn't trying to posit that both go through the same experience.

And relation to the asexuality thing - some people are homosexual, and we have no right to call that abnormal or not accept that it exists, in the same way that some people are straight, some are transgender and that some people are asexual.

They're all as valid as each other and none has the right to call another abnormal.

but to say I have "no right" is absurd, and demonstrably false.

Demonstrably? Really?

What in the world do you mean "no right"? I have the right to call anyone abnormal. Whether we should do it as a matter of being polite and socially concious or not is another story, but to say I have "no right" is absurd, and demonstrably false.

Oh for goodness' sake.

I don't mean 'a right' as in the political sense or the civil sense, I just mean it as in the turn of phrase.

Shall I rephrase what I said so that you won't be confused if you take it absolutely literally?

"...they're all as valid as each other and none should, within social politeness, bearing in mind the acceptance of others and recognition of individual differences, call another abnormal."

How does one become a not not-virgin?
see below

Born Again Virgin -
noun. A person who has not had sex in an unusally long time. The most common manifestation of this state is an anxiousness or nervousness about and around members of the appropriate gender and/or species that is eerily similar to that in sex obsessed teens.

I can imagine using that as some strange way to get back with the person you 'lost' it to.

"Oh, heeey, I've been looking for my virginity, and now that I've found it, I'm here to take it back."

You were talking about a pregnant couple. That would imply an entity that experiences something as one. Which they don't.
She's pregnant and, if she decides to carry it to term, will most likely go through some or all of the above.
He isn't pregnant, and will not go through any physical hardship for getting her pregnant.

Mmmm, a pretend anonymous...

Anyways, while I respect the OP's choice to stay a virgin, I'd say s/he will be missing on a part of life. Haven't you heard of tantric practices? Sex is also a device/way to reach purity of mind.

That and have you ever noticed the increased aggressiveness when you haven't got off in a while? Well... I do.

Six days is probably long enough to consider a thread dead, no?

Might want to take what you've learned from this thread and refine your question, then reflect on it and start a new thread based on a new rendition. I'm by no means an authority, but gravedigging usually earns you a lock.

listen, understand that sex is important to a lot of us. it makes us feel closer to our partners. as far as the marrige thing, i have asked my partner to marry me two times before but she has said no. she has been married twice, the last time to a @#$@rd who beat her. she is not ready and may never be. dose that mean we should not do it? i don't think so!
