Krieg walked in yawning and looked around. he sat at his table and relaxed a bit glad that he didnt have to work.

*Ju starts... he looks over at the person sitting there and smiles again.*

"sorry if i startled you" she apologizes quickly

Gem watches him then turns back to the fire and shrugged
i wonder what happened to him she thought quietly

"Grim, we need to re-order some of the booze! and since they take cash up front, I'm leaving the order on your desk!"

*Ju shouted as he came up from the downstairs storeroom.*

Gem turns at the sound and watches ju walk in from down stairs.
odd, i though he went up stairs she shrugged the thought away
" hello Ju" she says smiling

krieg stood and went to leave he paused when he saw gem but decided that she looked familar because of some dej'avu nothing more then a face in a crowd. he resumed his exit

" hello Ju" Hey Gem, Long time no see.

She glanced at the man who was looking at her then looked away retuning her attention to ju and the fire that was crackling happily.

Krieg felt a searing pain in his head stutter stepped and sat in a chair near by looking away from her.

"good, I'm glad to hear that" she smiles and returns her attention to the fire and sips her tea

*goes into the kitchen and returns with a couple pills on a napkin and a glass of water.*

"thanks" hedowned the pills and the water

Gem finished her tea and took the empty glass over to the bar and placed it in the sink next to a few of the other dirty glasses.

She pause for a few moments thinking then walked over and pulled up a chair and sat across the table from the man," you alright?"

"Just a headache" he didnt look at her directly

Gem nodded," just though i'd ask" she paused and smiled slightly," you just looked like some had hit you in the back with an ax." she stood," well i'll leave and give you some quiet" she turned and walked back over to the couch and sat pulling out a book

*Ju wiped up the glasses and hung them up to be used. he then goes into the back room to check the supply levels.*

*Ju walks in from outside and looks around. with a grin on his face, he wanders over to the fireplace and examines the fire burning cheerfully away.*

Sam's eyes widened -- especially when Ju went upstairs and yelled that Grim needed to make an order from the kitchen.

She strode quietly into the kitchen to confront the speaking Ju.

"Just WHAT ELSE is that mold capable of, Ju?" she asked softly, her eyes wild as she very VERY gently grabbed his shoulders and faced him. She did NOT want to panic the rest of the guests and was speaking as softly as possible.

other than moving and challenging you for your meals... it hasn't done anything. why?

"You had a brother didnt you?" he looked at the ground.

"Not Slade, he went by Sam"
She looked over at the man curiously

"Oh..." he paused he had pulled what looked like some wires that had been twisted in an onrate fashion maybe a wristlet or some form of jewlery. "Sorry I must have the wrong person then...." he began to put it away.

Ju could see that Sam was trying to stay very calm and quiet, but there was a tenseness in her he'd not seen before.

Sam drew in her breath and said, her voice huskier and more rumbly than before, "We better find out just what's going on with that. If that thing is still predatory, we got a BIG problem to take care of up there."

Gem nodded and went back to her reading. some thing about the wires pulled at her mind she looked up again but the man had put them away she shrugged it away,just because it looks possibly firmilure doesn't meant it is gem. she turned her attention back to her growing dislike of Heathcliff.

*Ju Ties on a red bandana to his forehead and grabs a Salami log you'd swear wasn't there before, then he heads up the stairs.*

She looked up," sorry what?" she hadn't heard all of what he said she was to absorbed in her book. out of the corner of her eye she say Ju heading up the stairs. i wonder what hes up to...this place gets stranger the longer i m here.
she shook her head clear of the thought

"Nothing....just the ramblings of an old marine" he began to put the wires away. " I had hoped you were his sister so that his soul might rest in peace...your eyes...you have the same eyes as he did."

Gem took it and spent a while looking it over
the twist is different than i remember..but it feels..right

Gem returned to the book mildly distracted she sighed and closed the book and flopped to her side replaying in her mind her recent visit to her mother.

Squorn entered the bar, covering a yawn with his hand. Blinking sleeily, he made his way to the bar and sat down.
"Glass of water please."
He drank about a quarter of the water as soon as it arrived before turning to observe the barroom.

Sam went up the stairs after Ju, cat-quick and light on her feet. Her breath came a little faster, a little harsher than usual.

Let him be ok... let him be able to handle that moss... let him be ok...

Sam followed Ju and the large sausage into the room.

But U Mustn't Procrastinate....

Maria walked in with Rain in the carry cot, she set it down and cleaned the bar to start her shift.

OoC: Sorry, RL intruded...

IC: *Searching each room, a loud crashing is heard up ahead. Rushing to the end room, Ju and Sam look at the shattered window. a white, milky liquid can be seen on the jagged edges of the glass, the person, no where to be seen.*

Guess 'he' got away...

*Ju came downstairs and entered the kitchen.... the mold patch was gone. with a worried look, ju begins searching for any signs of the mold.*

*She had been for a walk in the park, and was returning back to her room in the tavern.
As the flashing neon sign that read "G im' avern" came into her view, a small animal the type of which she had never seen before, gave a loud shriek and it's six legs took it at high speed away from a very large piece of mold which had appeared from the nearby alleyway.*

Oh no...more of it on the loose!

*She watched to see which way it went, before going inside and flopping onto a seat.*

*Ju walked out of the bar and looked around.*
Oh Hi Orchid... say... you didn't see a patch of mold or moss around ... did you?

As a matter of fact I did...it went left at the bottom of the alleyway, chasing a kind of six legged cat and believe me, they both had a good turn of speed.

*She got out of the chair and wandered over to the stairs.*

I think it's all getting out of hand, but if you hurry you might just save the local wildlife!

*She climbed the stairs and checking to see there were no plants around, went into her room closing the door firmly behind her.*
