Sociopaths are a bad group to target therapy to since it has been shown to have negative effects in the past.

If they aren't sociopathic though then yes I would agree that they should be imprisoned all the same but therapy is an option along side this

And every group that is punished should be given the same level of justice. It is unfair to treat someone even more harshly than they would be just to send out a message to society. If you make it a change for every offender then that is a different matter but if you decide that one pickpocket, for example, should be punished way more harshly than others just to send out an example, i'd have a problem with that

Uh huh. I've already said that the best way to go about this was with harsh labor using whatever profit they generate to pay off the bills of their victim.

Prison labor camps are excellent ways of making sure criminals pay off their debts to society since it's directly on their backs. And when i say hard labor, I mean real hard labor. Backbreaking work under harsh conditions. You need a clear and direct message.

Um its wrong as it wont help anything ... what are the chanses that these kids were also emotionally or physically abused themselfs as kids ... I am sure calling them dispicable will help after hearing it from there parents for years...

Well, if the kid buried, beat up, tortured and threatened HER, she wouldn't say this. :p

I'd prefer they be turned into productive members of society, if at all possible.

Me, I'd prefer they be turned into lobotomised vegetables, or laboratory testing subjects, or vivisection specimens.

They aren't exactly masturbating about it (i'd like to hope) but there have been posts along the eye for an eye line of thought where these kids should have the same torture they dished out, and there have been posts about throwing them in a room full of child molesters

Jail lowers their productivity. I say give them a good whack...

The swirly and the super wedgie are standard bully toture implements but the rest is just way out there. Everyone gets bullied a little but that was extreme. Something that extreme deserves extreme punishment, those children need to be shown what its like to suffer in a similer way. Perhaps put them in an actual jail or prison for an evening and scare the life out of them.
