I was making a point about how Islamism isn't cultural imperialism, nothing more. I made no assumtions about technological versus moral superiority. The point is that even if they feel they're somehow morally superior, coming into an already-long-established culture and DEMANDING they change to fully and unquestioningly accomodate the immigrants is arrogant at best and froot-loopy at worst.

The important word there is 'presumably'. If you read the OP, the first people to cover the statue with the Burqua were people protesting about the potential inclusion of Turkey in the EU, not Islamists. I wouldn't put past plenty of right wing groups to do something like that.

I have my theory.

It seems that anti-muslims(and others of similar ilk) do not produce a certain protein in the brains that is needed for rational, intelligent, or logical thought. As to this, this lack of a much needed protein makes them utter completely illogical and unintelligent ramblings that make no apparent sense, whatsoever. In their minds, they are correct; to the outside world they are woefully wrong.

Now, some have postulated what would occur if we were to genetically engineer these people to produce this protein. Perhaps, they would realize that their lack of intelligence(However they may claim otherwise without said protein) was due to a certain rare genetic disorder. Unfortunately, this is false.

You see, the problem lies in that for the entirety of their lives to this point, they believe that their irrational, unintelligent, and complete wasteful jargon is true. To them, it is true. After they have been genetically altered, however, they still believe this to be true. The only true difference is that they realize that their arguments are illogical and irrational. They still believe they are true, however.

This leads them down a very short path to insanity. You see, to believe one thing, regardless of how illogical it may seem, and realizing that your argument for your beliefs are completely irrational, yet still believing it, is a paradox of godly proportions. Due to this, it has been noted that all those whom have undergone this procedure have spent their entire lives trying to decipher said paradox, dieing a broken person, as none have yet to figure it out.

So, you see, unfortunately due to ethical reason, we are not allowed to genetically alter people with this disorder. We must allow them to continue on their way, rambling off illogical statements in such a way.

The only true "cure" to their statements, however, is to ignore them. If you ignore them, you do not hear what they say, and thus they do not exist.
