I'd like to think I could consider everyone a friend, on NS, but thats not so. Anyways, my bestest NS friend is a tie between chandy, ginny,kiryu. I would have previously said ruffy, but I don't think he loves me anymore :(

i have a good rapport i think with wytyg, iv stalin, jello biafra, similization and some others but for most of them i wouldn't go so far as to call them friends. i don't like to assume friendship as that tends to end badly for me. my posting style on here is probably not that conjucive to making friends anyway, i'm more of a 'hit and run' kind of poster i think. wytyg is the only poster i've talked to outside of NS so i will say she is my friend. she knows where i live afterall, even soe of my RL friends don't know where i live!

I'm not sure, i think NB has trouble grasping certain things sometimes. he seems to get the wrong end of the stick a lot anyway.

I used to be Fiddlebottoms friend, but then that asshole volunteered me for all this extra work, completely dsiregarding the fact that I've already got a term paper and finals coming up in the next couple weeks. Then he got drunk over the weekend, decided to rearrange our furniture at 3 AM and bashed my face with a lamp. So, we haven't been speaking since Sunday morning.

Actually, I tend to gravitate to a lot of the Canadian posters, as we tend to trip over each other in the occasional Canadian content thread.

And I've always got along well with Jello Biafra. Even got drunk and told him I loved him once. It was a very special episode.

It's Cannot Think of a Name for me in a walk, and Bottle and me have been buds for a long, long time. They're really the only ones I communicate with outside of NSG.

People who I'm generally better with than others are TSI, Drache, Colodia, LaDame, Sel Appa, and most importantly, Aerou (though only LaDame and TSI post anymore), and from the RP world, Pschycotic Pschycos, Reichskamphen, Cherry Ridge, Arizona Nova, and Hattia.

Firstly, I would enjoy having a drink with any of you. It would be quite fun.
I haven't met anyone (except my brother) IRL. I never thought I'd meet anyone online that I'd consider a friend, but this person seems bent on destroying all of my preconceived notions:D(which I do appreciate).

I don't think I really have any friends on NS. I have a few things in common with people though, and there are some people I get on well with (CtoaN and a few others...Sin, Potaria, I V Stalin mainly...). And Jordaxia. Whatever she's up to.

Hoooooh boy this thread is a potential minefield.

If I limited to maybe one or two people, I run the risk of offending other people with whom I am very friendly. Then there are the other things you think about, like whether or not the feeling's mutual.

But having said that, I've long valued my friendships with Pacitalia and Praetonia, among the many NSers I've interacted with over the years. I've long considered Isselmere to be one of my chief mentors in the RPG side of these fora.

I like talking to Kat about teacher stuff, nice to get a perspective outside my school and see how good/bad other places are. :fluffle:

Pretty much all my people aren't in General though... but I've learned a ton about a lot of people through NS, and quite a few of them I will either meet sometime this summer or I know later we'll figure it out. Perhaps a roadtrip next summer. :)

when I was in elementary school I always hated the worksheets that said "who is your best friend?" because I didn't want to answer the wrong person if in fact they didn't like me enough to say that I was their best friend, so it would be like all awkward......for a more recent example, it's like that point in a relationship where you have to introduce the person you are dating to someone else... do you say just their name? would that bother them? do you say you have been dating? what do they attach to the word dating? will they think you mean something more? do they want to be introduced as anything particular? what do they think they would introduce you as? what if they are telling people you are their girlfriend?:eek:

Yes, it went quite well. I was re-elected as secretary of Latin club for next year (same officer position I held this year) and at the afterschool AP Latin practice I only missed one question out of the first 20 questions of the actual 1987 AP Latin exam. I've been told that if you can get at least half of the answers correct you're on track to pass, so I feel a lot more confident now than I did before the practice.:)

It's been rather average for me, slightly better than normal because of no work. 3 hours of Biology culminated in me turning pale as they got out the model erect penis with ejaculatory function for Biology. I'm...rather uncomfortable with that sort of thing to say the least. I should've taken the genetics option...

Otherwise, just dandy.

I also got a nice plaque recognizing that I've been a tutor in the program for 3 years and a nice pin recognizing that I had outstanding attendance (missed only three times- once because I had to help set up the induction ceremony for National Honor Society, once for the State Latin Forum, and once for making up work for physics class in advance for the class time I missed during the State Latin Forum.):)

when I was in elementary school I always hated the worksheets that said "who is your best friend?" because I didn't want to answer the wrong person if in fact they didn't like me enough to say that I was their best friend, so it would be like all awkward......for a more recent example, it's like that point in a relationship where you have to introduce the person you are dating to someone else... do you say just their name? would that bother them? do you say you have been dating? what do they attach to the word dating? will they think you mean something more? do they want to be introduced as anything particular? what do they think they would introduce you as? what if they are telling people you are their girlfriend?:eek:

yeah, I refuse to answer until someone picks me as a bestest friend. ;)

my bestest friend IRL is hubby though, and I can say that because no matter how bad I offend him, he is stuck with me. :)

oh, I have high respect for Ashmoria, who is wise beyond her years......and also Ruffy who reminds me of the little brother I always wanted.

There are a few special people I would have missed very much had they decided to leave... :)

I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I hated you. I disagree with you as far as religion is concerned, though you are intelligent about it; but I actually do like you (at least as much as I know you through NS).

I got $400 in scholarships!:D (A check for $300 and a separate check for $100, from two different organizations or funds or whatever.)

I also got a nice plaque recognizing that I've been a tutor in the program for 3 years and a nice pin recognizing that I had outstanding attendance (missed only three times- once because I had to help set up the induction ceremony for National Honor Society, once for the State Latin Forum, and once for making up work for physics class in advance for the class time I missed during the State Latin Forum.):)

Back in the days of the dinosaurs I had what I would consider close friends here. Now I have a large number of close aquaitances. With only a very few (more often than not, temporary) exceptions, I don't dislike anyone here. Sad, I know, but thats the best I can do.

I consider everyone on NS my friend. yes, that includes The Nazz, Canuk, Fass, Cat-tribe, Grave, Dobbs and even Lyric. Friends can have opposing views. ;)

I like posting with all of you, especially Pancake, Kat, Fris, La Dame, DCD, German Nightmares and Especially Smunkee and LG.
