If you think so. I just notice certain people postwhoring like their lives depend on it. They should at least think of other people, I don't enjoy having to see pages of completely pointless posts (like the ones I just quoted). Like I said, get MSN if you want to say that, don't post it on a public forum. Believe it or not, I'm not going to be impressed with someone just because they have a high postcount. I form my opinion based on what you say, when I see constant shite like that it doesn't make me think highly of the person posting it. It's annoying, now stop it.

I said earlier that heights freak me out a little, but now I come to think about it there is something I hate much worse. Nasty programs about surgery where the person is being cut up. I really hate watching it, it freaks me out because I know it's real. I'm not too bothered about seeing gory films, I know it's just fiction (although I don't really enjoy horror). I don't watch things like that on purpose, I'll just turn on the TV and channel 5 is the first channel because I tuned it in all wrong, and I'lll see some cosmetic surgery program. I suppose I'm quite squeamish. I don't like it. :(

Honey is quite good, but I'd be willing to go without if it ment no more bees. I stepped on a underground hive when I was 12, so I've hatted bees ever since. Also, something about the fact that they move through the air with so much more ease then us, that bothers me. They are fast, small, move about in all directions quickly, and can easily go in all 3 dimentions.

They are fast, small, move about in all directions quickly, and can easily go in all 3 dimentions.
I find all insects to be fascinating, their appearence and the way they move is just so weird in a cool way. I don't mind the bad-tempered little stingers but I can see why you'd dislike them after your experience.
For some reason I seem to be sticking up a lot for insects in this thread. At lot of people seem to hate them. I'm feel strangely protective of them, it must be because they are so tiny. DON'T STOMP ON INSECTS!

There was that episode of futurama on TV today where they went to the slurm factory. They discovered that slurm was actually made from really disgusting gunk squirted out the end of the queen slurm. Despite knowing that Fry still couldn't stop drinking it, it tasted so good. I think I'd still eat something nasty like that if it tasted nice enough. Honey is so good. :)

I'm with you on single word posts, and boring posts although I'm not sure we'd find the same things boring. I hate bees though and most insects. I think most Floridians would agree with me on insects in general. If you ever saw a Palmetto bug you'd want to squash it too.

Live near water, do you? Silverfish always live near water by preference. Y'know, as creatures you're liable to have unwantedly crawl against your skin go, Silverfish aren't that bad. Really - their tactile quality is far less awful than the visual they provide. I had one fall, from an overhanging surface, onto my neck one dark night...

Heh, I used to catch bees about a decade ago. Oh, a note for anyone who has or plans to have children: don't let them try to catch/smash bees with pieces of plastic, like wrappers or bags. Eventually, the child will be stung in the eye...and countless times in various fingers.

I find all insects to be fascinating, their appearence and the way they move is just so weird in a cool way. I don't mind the bad-tempered little stingers but I can see why you'd dislike them after your experience.
For some reason I seem to be sticking up a lot for insects in this thread. At lot of people seem to hate them. I'm feel strangely protective of them, it must be because they are so tiny. DON'T STOMP ON INSECTS!

There was that episode of futurama on TV today where they went to the slurm factory. They discovered that slurm was actually made from really disgusting gunk squirted out the end of the queen slurm. Despite knowing that Fry still couldn't stop drinking it, it tasted so good. I think I'd still eat something nasty like that if it tasted nice enough. Honey is so good. :)

The cats at my house like crossing our paths as well. Its as if they wait until I walk by and then they leap up to be launched a few feet across a room. Stupid animals but got to love 'em.

He was up there for a few months, and the mosquito problem outside my apartment diminished for the enitre time he was there. 2 days ago i look up and find him dead....wasnt a pretty sight....probably was killed by one of the giant cockroaches here.

I always trim them with nail scissors, although now I've not been to my martial arts classes for months and months I've let them grow quite long. Bedbugs really are the worst. They're hard to get rid of. Not freaky to me, just incredibly irritating....and itchy, too.

I dunno about the US, but over here they're becoming immune to most chemicals. They also spread hepatitis! Personally I'd burn the house down to get rid of them! it's the only way :p

I'm always paranoid that I'm gonna go to a job where they're present and pick them up on clothing/shoes and bring them home. I've done pest control for 4 years now and it hasn't happened with anything yet, but I'm sure it will at some point.

I won't participate in a catalog of weakness that might one day be used against me, but the rest of you feel free.

I think they were in the western parts of the US. Maybe Colorado. Nothing too close yet, I hope. Yeah, they are increasing, though. We haven't had any for a very long time and suddenly we get cases popping up about infestations in hotels or somesuch.

I think they were in the western parts of the US. Maybe Colorado. Nothing too close yet, I hope. Yeah, they are increasing, though. We haven't had any for a very long time and suddenly we get cases popping up about infestations in hotels or somesuch.

Don't like spiders. Was in hospital recently and had several does of morphine and other such medication resulting in extremely vivid dreams. I dreamt I put my hand into an old Roches Stores bag (Irish outlet) that was full of huge, hairy brown spiders that began to crawl everywhere around me. I had to get out of bed. more like fall as I had stiches and check for spiders. Now everytime I see that kind of spiders or scary looking ones or old Roches bags (it was plastic with red writing, they don't use em ne more, but you still see a few a round) I stiffen up completely!

Also hate rats with their beady eyes (shudder)
