The reason I wouldn't use the term chemistry is because that is more of a physical thing in my mind, and you can have chemistry with a wide range of people at the same time. I don't think the same applies to true love, whatever true love is.

Okay - i'd like to say that, even though it sounds admittedly trite, the passage from 1 Corinthians is one of the best EVER descriptions i've ever come across for true love (as i'd alluded to earler).

My personal experience -
love between myself and another ....
inclusive of a preoccupation of thought with the subtleties and overt characteristics of the other, with curiosity to the changes in nature over time, what is complimentary and what is innate - and the respectful attendance to both aspects ...
how my involvement with them not only was almost irresistable but challenging in a way that made me doubt myself but take heart in knowing that i could renounce my ego and weaknesses for the value of sharing whatever short amount of time with them in happiness and/or joy ....
even knowing that what little time i can spend completely destroying myself with them, that i would still do the best for them in KNOWING who they are (as much as anyone really can) and knowing that i was/am a better and more complete person for sharing in the experience. No matter, really, how painful the outcome may have or will end up.


Also, for consideration ... has anyone here sired children BEFORE actually experiencing "true love", and can you perhaps explain the difference in perspective?
