Rivaldo was later fined.. The FIFA gave him a fine?
Did he notice?
Did the other teams noticed?
It sure has made an impact..
FIFA is Corrupt indeed.

.. the point is is that becaue the ref took action against Figo, there is nothing the Discip. Committee from FIFA can do...The Ref never saw the headbutt.. they are suposed to give a red card for hedbutts.
how do we know what was the yellow card for? (it was because an Orange player told him it happened?)
I like NFL officiating.. they ask his refs to clearly spell their calls on the spot.

According to the ref's report, he did see it. The rest you can blame on poor officiating on the ref's part. FIFA's hands are tied by this.

No. Again, it was in the ref's report. Read my link damn you!

I believe it was around 10,000 euro. That is quite a hefty fine in fairness, its just because of the payscale players get that it appears to be nothing.
What's next? Fine them 1 million? Not feasible or practical.
I also believe he got suspended for a few internationals after that.
Shirt tugging in this WC gets you fined 3,000 SFr. for each offence. Lots of players have been racking up that too. :D
Oh, and welcome back ;)

Uh, what?
It was a corner kick, not a penalty and Rivaldo was later fined/sanctioned because of his terrible acting. As bad as that was, the point is is that becaue the ref took action against Figo, there is nothing the Discip. Committee from FIFA can do.
Rivaldo was not cautioned and it was because of video evidence that he was caught by the Committee later.
(Not because his acting was bad.... you know what I mean!)
No the Turk got punished and missed the game if i remember correctly.
Turkey got punished straight away and Rivaldo didn't.
