Awww, what a sweet thing to say.

And pretty much any thread involving women becomes popular fairly rapidly. For example, the now deceased "Babes Thread"!

I doubt it will make it to spam. This thread is conducive to actual discussion, the "Babe Thread" was more just a selection of pictures...

Thats the best kind, and I got me a nice curvy fiancé. Has it in all the right places. Just a bit of a booty, nice hips, and uh...well we wont talk about up top, but its all nice.

Replace fiancé with girlfriend, and...me too. :D

Odd, but I'll tell you, you're right about my name at least. I'm curious. What other lists?

1) Infinigon (Circle)

Yay!...I think. I like the sound of it. And yeah, that'd be me...the "intresting" one. Right now I settle for weird, once I do something big...ish...I can attain the adjective "eccentric". Eccentric basically being what you call weird people you respect or it's in your best intrest not to insult. The 80-year old tycoon? Eccentric. The hobo? Weird.

I think a circle has an infinite number of sides, and Paradeiser is Tomato in german, according to Wikipedia.

Ehh...I dunno...I copied this from Wiki:

Words with certain characteristics of notable length
The longest word in the English language containing only one vowel is strengths, while scraunched is the longest monosyllabic word in current usage. Twyndyllyngs is the longest word without any of the common vowel letters a, e, i, o, or u (although y is certainly a vowel in that and many other words). Euouae, at six letters long, is the longest English word consisting only of vowels, and the word with the most consecutive vowels. It is a medieval musical term. However, u was often used interchangeably with v, and the variant "evovae" is occasionally used.
The longest words with no repeated letters are dermatoglyphics, misconjugatedly and uncopyrightable. [2]
The longest word whose letters are in alphabetical order is the eight-letter Aegilops, a grass genus. The seven-letter addeems (from the archaic verb addeem, meaning to award), alloquy (an archaic or literary word for an address), beefily (in a beefy manner), billowy (like a wave or surge), dikkops (a South African bird) and gimmors (plural of gimmor, an old-fashioned word for a mechanical contrivance) are also close.
The longest medical term typable with only the left hand (using conventional hand placement on a QWERTY keyboard) is aftercataracts, and the longest "common" word is stewardesses or reverberated. Conversely, using the right hand alone, the longest word that can be typed is johnny-jump-up, or, excluding hyphens, polyphony. The longest word typable using only the top row of letters is not typewriter, as is commonly believed: proterotype and rupturewort are longer, though not in common usage.
The longest words typable by alternating left and right hands are dismantlement and neuroticisms respectively.
The longest words with the vowels in order are facetiously and abstemiously.

And on that info topic thing, these names said Michigan under 'em:

The Sovereign Federation of California and Alaska
The United Empire of Colerica
The Most Serene Republic of Eudelphia
The United States of Credonia
The Holy Empire of Fuzzy Dice the 873rd
The Constitutional Monarchy of Mangocia

Uh-huh. Nothing like a little sarcasm to brighten up one's day. I'm obviously vocal when someone bugs me, so I try to be clear when I notice good things or enjoy something.

:D

I'm far too on-off when it comes to doing excessively brain utilizing stuff...(reference the first two pages of three different stories and my 18 installation sprite comic). I gotta make a comment and hope someone runs with it. Mayhap the people deep in the debate forget points going by on the sides they might could latch on to. After a certain point I imagine you don't really look at the words, but the basic arguement being made and go for that. Admittedly, that's pprobably the most direct way to go about it, but the reasoning is exposed in the frills...

Of course, I may have just BS'd the previous paragraph in the hopes it means something, I'm not totally sure...Ever heard of Jamiroquai?

I'm a curvy woman, but I'm petite* too...

Hmm... My personal favourite was one student who translated "pivota doucement sur ses reins" by "swivelled gently on her kidneys". It's a good think I wasn't drinking anything when I read that.
Be wary -- that translation is what my translator program on my computer spat out when I typed in that French phrase. The only difference was "its kidneys" as opposed to "her kidneys" on my translator. Your students may be cheating.

Ah, ok, just wondering from "sammitch"...in the US I understand it's a "Pittsburghese" word (and a ripoff from Ulster slang ;) )
Nah. "Samich", as I've come to spell it, is an elision that most of the more lax-dictioned dialects make. I heard it in South Carolina, myself.

I'm not too discriminating. I can't say I like the extremes as much, though: almost completely flat women tend to be kinda boring (purely physically, of course), and very curvy women intimidate me slightly, especially if they flaunt their features. Average is perfectly ample enough for my tastes.
