Ok so how do you prefer a woman's body type? these are my 4 types and definitions

1) Petite- little to no curves. Small in size. An example would be like keira knightly
2) Average- this is the good ol' average woman. Nothing to spectacular but at the same time still have something. I don't have anyone really in mind to examplify
3)Curvy- This is the woman that has all the right curves. A body type like beyonce knowles or skinnified Anna nicole smith.
4) Extra curvy- These are the big but beautiful women

So what do you prefer, or if you are a lady, what type are you?

Poll to come

As for me I am more of a petite to smaller average guy myself.

I'm equal opportunity when it comes to their size...well, okay, you have to be twice as tall as you are wide, but that's about it.

Darn, poll's there already...with no all of the above...

I disagree with the poll options. Curvy =/= fat. If you watch Barbershop (not a very good movie, btw) you'll learn the difference between a big ass woman and a woman with a big ass.

Hard to say, with these options... I'd consider Beyonce to be only just crossing the border into 'curvy'. So - by that measure, I'd be looking at a 3 or 4 as 'preference'.

But then, I'd never make a decision on a partner on something as superficial as body mass index...

I would probably be what the poll describes as "extra curvy". I'm quite fat, yeah, but I've still got the curves. I'm pretty happy with my body, and certainly wouldn't want to be skinny.

I like Petite Women possibly the most, but I can go with Curvy as well. I'm going to admit I'm a tad bit shallow, but in a sense that I won't date anyone twice my weight...which would be a lot considering I'm about 225-230 lbs. I can go with chubby-curvy as well, it all depends more on that persons attitude towards life, personality, and if they arn't totally and completely fucked up looking. But I have a very low standard with that...I guess? I don't know, I havn't been in too many relations to really tell.

I hate that term. "Objectifying." Everyone is an object until you know them. There's nothing wrong with looking at a woman and acknowledging how attractive she is. If you treat her like an object when you know her then there's something wrong, but I'm not going to apologize for recognizing my base, physical attraction to women. Not that you were trying to call me out, it's just that the term irks me.

I'm a dichotomy between absolutely ADORING small breasts (B or less) and ADORING curves. I have no problem with weight as long as proportionality is maintained. If anything is too far out of proportion, I just can't get aroused by that shape. I've dated petite women, and for the most part, they tend to me more obsessive about their shape...and their eyebrows (leave 'em alone unless you've got more or less then two!), and their clothes, and their shoes...I guess overall, I'd rather be wiht someone who has no hang-ups about her body and is healthy enough for strenuous activity (I realize that sounds like a double entendre, but that wasn't my...original...intent).

I'm more attracted to petite girls (as a petite girl myself :) ). I think women of all sizes can be beautiful, but I'm more often then not attracted to girls of similar height/weight/body to myself. I love being petite, except for having to hem jeans/pants/skirts because they're often long on me.

Personally, I like just how I am, thanks. Somewhere in the middle. I'm not at all fat. I'm not skinny. You can see bits of muscle, but not like body-builder style. I'm not too top-heavy, but have enough to work with. I'm not too bottom heavy either, but maybe leaning that way. *shrug* I'm fairly athletic, but not glisteny, muscley like your weird objectified woman.

Does that make me "curvy" or "normal"?

I'd say I'm somewhere between petite and average. Forced to pick, I guess I'd go with petite. I'm not super skinny or muscular, but I do have a small build. My boyfriend describes my body as "toned, but not muscular". Not sure what that means, really, but perhaps that gives you a better idea. I'm quite happy with my body, although I do admit to a tiny annoyance at my shoulders. I swam competitively for years, so the muscles of my neck, shoulders and back are more developed than they are for most of my friends. It wouldn't bother me, except for the fact that it makes it a tad bit more difficult to buy clothes that fit properly - most tops either fit fine at the waist but are too tight across the shoulders, or are fine at the shoulders and too loose at the waist.

Now, when you say "twice as tall as you are wide"

by width do you mean the measure around the waist or across the waist. Around the waist is a pretty good standard, although a bit strict. Across the waist would mean that a girl with a height of 1.6m could have a waist that is about 2.4m around. That's extremely fat (http://boston.freeblog.hu/Files/ultrafat.jpg).

Well, I suppose I didn't really mean it literally, thinking about it. Just that I've seen a girl that's basically spherical. If some of the girls I know would allow me to get some measurements, maybe I can give you a more accurate ratio of what I mean.

There's no sense of inferiority. Don't women prefer to feel "womanly"?

I can see how my remark would imply that, though. I'll mention the other half of it, then, and get criticized for different reasons: I find slender young women to be more physically attractive. I assume--probably correctly--that these two thoughts are really the same thing: I like to date girls that are smaller than I am.

All people have insecurities. That's very different than all men feeling inferior. I'm insecure about the freckles on my arms from the sun. I wish I could get rid of them. Having said that, women have always responded pretty favourably to me so, though I may be no Brad Pitt, I don't feel inferior about my looks.

Oh, well I grew up with English, so I guess I wouldn't notice. If you learn French from a child, or over a large timespan, it isn't as difficult as it normally would be. It's a language the complexity of which relies in mastering its irregularities (especially in the verb forms, like you said).

About languages, with English as a first language most people still speak it horribly. It's more due to the lack of any really defined grammatical rules in common usage, only things that simply don't sound right.

I liek Italian though, nice language, better sounding than any other language I've heard, and I've been learning it relatively easily. I've also been listening to it my whole life though.

I find English extremley easy, but I suppose that's because It's my first language. Surprisingly enough, my knowledge of English (mostly English from the 1800's, actually) helps me a lot in French. I always stumble on prononciation, but, thanks to a pile of really obscure cognates, it's a breeze to translate the passages into English (given, the passages we read aren't exactly high-end, complicated things).

I think it also depends on the environment a lot. One can never master a language without having the chance to practice it constantly. I know I would never be able to master French unless I live in a French environment for some time. There are just some things you can't learn from textbooks.

In English words don't have j's on the end and rarely in the middle, so one wonders if it is a reversed word.

I prefer petite women. Petite women can still have the beautiful "lines" and hip structures but they seem naturally more attractive to me. I've never thought the overly curvacious women were nearly as beautiful as the petite women.

Aye...well, it's apparently Pittsburghese (well, according to whatever museum I was in in Pittsburgh) and alot of Pittsburghese is derived from Ulster slang, and alot of it is used here in NI.

It is a nice word though....

I'm bisexual (as in a proper bisexual, not a pretend so that I'm popular bisexual), so that's why I added the "I prefer curvy" comment. The poll wouldn't allow me to choose both.
