George Bush is the worst president in American history.
Already been proven false.
When he first heard about the 9/11 attack he sat there for over 7 minutes doing NOTHING.
 I really love how people who hate Bush keep bringing this up when it really is a non-issue.
He used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq, totally lying about weapons of mass destruction and that Iraq was linked to the terrist attacks.
Iraq has supported Hamas (a terrorist organization), It was BAD INTELLIGENCE (and yes it was) that said Saddam had WMD. Now if Saddams #2 Air Boss can be believed, he did have them and were shipped to Syria. Apparently, the intel community and suspecting this as well. Just no evidence to prove it yet.
He is a biggot: he wants a Constitutional ammendment banning gay merrage...How terrible.
Another myth. He wants a Constitutional Amendment saying that marriage is between a man and a woman. Leaves open the possibilities of civil unions.
He did nothing for the hurricane relief,
You are striking out all over the place.
he pretends to be religious, he and his cohorts lie to the American people on a daily basis, and he is a terrible public speaker who has HORRIBLE posture! He is the dumbest person to ever run a country in the history of the world! He being elected shows how stupid the American people are.
Since I already debunked your entire post, I'm going to leave this last bit alone because it is apparent you know absolutely nothing about him except what the Left Wing hacks of the Democratic party are saying.

Bush could have left the class room telling them there is a national matter that needs his attention. The fact is, no one told him what to do, so he didn't know what to do.
If you actually read up on both sides, which is nearly impossible since every media is owned by big right winged corporations, but if you actually did, you'd find the republicans are never within 30% correct especially with this administration.

One issue in paticular I'm enjoying watching on this thread is gay marriage. First of all, it's not a national issue. Marriage criteria is decided by the state government, not the national government. It's not Bush trying to ban gay marriage, and even if it was everybody is forgetting one big thing: One of America's biggest principal is majority rule, and seperation of church and state or not, the vast majority of American's believe in one religion or another, most of these religions clearly stating that marriage is between a man and a woman. Many people, however, are torn on this issue. It all depends on which state you live in.
Also, I always get ALL my political info from Rolling Stone Magazine.
Also Also, I've seen plenty of hicks, and if you've (you being a general statement toward all of you) ever seen a real hick, you'll know that George W. Bush is definitely not one.

Of course its a non-issue. There wasn't much he could've done within those 7 minutes without causing a panick in the classroom. That's absolutely pathetic, Corny. Even for you.
He could have left. Like he did, after staring off into space for seven minutes. He could have got up and done something executive - yes, that's what he's supposed to do. Instead of mulling over how to pronounce lines from My Pet Goat later to daddy so his dad knows he didn't waste TOO much $ on juniors' education.
Just keep telling yourself that.Kettle, pot, black - the holy trinity.
Seperation of Church and State is something that came from jefferson's letter to a bapist church I believe. The phrase has been taken totally out of context. No it hasn't. Are you interested in being educated on this too?

That is a good point, especially with your reference to slavery earlier (I think it was yours, if not, I apologize).
However, regardless of whether it is right or wrong, it is still subject to the rule of majority. I personally agree with banning gay marriage (though I find that an ugly way to state my position), but I do agree with civil unions between gay couples. If you have civil unions, the issue of marriage is really no longer with the state as much as it is with the church. That's just my belief.
Also, let's keep in mind that marriage was created by these religions.

Hmm, as a Christian and a Gay (oh look at that contradiction!), I really should have every right to marry whomever I wish. Call it a civil union, call it marriage, I don't really care. It should be something that's between my pastor, my family, my church, and my spouse. The state should have nothing to do with that.
I say it'd be better to just rewrite every legal document that has marriage and replace it with civil union. That way the government can get out of my business and let me choose what makes me happy.
