Before I start my homework, I'm just going to make this statement:

I haven't been on this site too long and I've already figured out its intentions. I am not calling Max Berry or even the creators of the site are racists, but I know most of it's members are. When talking about the Immagration Protests (and first of all, I'm a WHITE guy, before you spit your racial slurs), I was ready to hear some disagreements. But no, I heard things that sounds like... hmm... KKK speeches. So you know what NationStates? Peace.

Yea, that's the jist of it. I personally prefer the whole Seig Hail, aryan race type take on it. Just seems much more aristocratic and classy than the KKK.:rolleyes:

I hope you'll consider- if you haven't already- that certain topics when viewed as the header to a bulletinboard forum, tend to attract vocal *minorities.* A header called "Immigration Protests" is immediately going to spark the ire of people who are biased against immigrants and want to air their dirty laundry about it. So it stands to reason that a large amount of posting in the forum will be by that vocal minority, while those who respect immigrants and can appreciate the impetus behind the protests might not feel the need to rush into such a forum to voice their opinions.

Unfortunately, a lot of us 'liberal' people take for granted that not everyone is so "reasonable" as to share our opinions, so we get complacent about speaking up for them and the voices more often heard are those of the reactionaries shrilling their disdain.
