Mostly because Karl Rove is a smart man. His clever use of the Chewbacca defense lulled a fat, happy America into thinking Bush was competent. His brilliance only goes so far, however. Ater Katrina and the debacle that is the Iraq war even Rove can't fool the public into thinking this emporer has clothes on. The bloom is off the rose and the only people left in his camp, people usually reduced to the "he's better than Kerry" defense, are the ideologically rigid, uneducted idiots that are his base of support. The Bush democrats and even the intelectual, educated conservatives have bailed on that horse.
Ideologically rigid, uneducated idiots? So he's still got a strong following in the red states. Jeb in '08!

You need to be careful, you've had a couple posts in here that gave you away a little too much. It's ok to be absurdist with a troll-puppet, but you need to be careful not to cross the line into obviousness. Otherwise watching the responses just isn't as fun.
for the 50millionth time, IM not trolling! Its just that I hate how liberals whine about there privacy rights, but if you aint talkin to a terrorist why are you complianing? seriously I dont get it.

Yeah, it's not like they're using the Patriot act to crack down on drug criminals. Oh, wait, they've just started doing that. Well, if you're not on drugs you've got nothing to fear. It's not like they're using the patriot act to crack down on liberals, right?

uhuh, sure.

Just keep in mind what I said when crafting future posts. It's no fun when a funny troll slips up too much and gets banned.

Last I checked McCain was Republican and Bush's ratings were in the crapper making it next to impossible to oppose both the president and the will of the people simultaneously>.>

And frankly, neither political orientation gets it. The conservatives are too afraid of change and despite their love of twisting everything in the name of "family values" their utter rape of the term and their dedication to pretending anything is against family values just to further their closed-mind agenda shows they wouldn't know the true meaning of family values if it bit them in the throat. The liberals meanwhile appear as if nothing won't offend them and seem to enjoy giving birth to fringe nutjob special interest groups.

Well we're not losing. More than ten Iraqis die for every one American. I'd say we're winning. At this rate there will be no more insurgents (or Iraqis of any kind) in no time!

That is not the case. We do not know why you choose to spread such liberal lies. Some friends will be along shortly to provide you with the truth.

Im just wondering why people like Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, John McCain, and Colin Powell are so out of touch with America. They seem to oppose the President and the will of the American people at every turn. I mean are they trying to attack America? Your thoughts.

If the whole list was conservatives I'd take it as satire, but he's bundling McCain in with Sean Penn. Is that like how if you're as far away as a distant star then the Sun and the nine planets orbiting it all seem to be the same tiny pinpoint of light?

Must be, because it's the Neo-con's who are out there with their beliefs that the whole country was founded by a handful of fundamentalists from Massachusets and other such points of lunacy. If you were as distant as them you just might think that Jane Fonda who supported the Vietnamese and John McCain who fought against them occupy the same political position.

It's a funny post. I'm just scratching my head trying to figure out if it's on purpose or not.

Hmmmm. Last time I checked, anywhere from 58-60% (http://pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm) of Americans actively disapprove of his job performance, and only 34-39% of Americans approve, depending on the poll. What was that about the "will of the American people" again?
