the giant panda has many choices of what it can eat but almost all of their diet is bamboo, as is ours of veg, and fruit, and grain. Also if we were herbavores in the first place then we couldn't eat meat it would be giving a cow meat and we'd have died out.

Have you ever tried to milk a hereford? Yeah, go ahead, big fun. Beef cattle are certainly for eating, and would you deny the lactose intolerant amongst us the right to enjoy cow-products (and no, noone is eating their pies)

Actually when I was young we did milk a half herford. The only difference is they don't have as much butterfat and don't give as much volume.
