I didn't really answer this properly before. I'd love to meet the whole of the UDCP, all the people with similar music taste, and most of the regulars I don't really know but I'm sure I'd get on with as well.

The NZers can always fly to Australia. My thoughts exactly. I've seen many a black belt go down because they didn't actually know how to do anything except strike. Striking is fine for schoolyards, but how hard you hit is not likely to decide a fight and MUCH more likely to land you in jail. My brother was at a party and got hit so hard he landed on the other side of the car. He stood back up and asked the guy if it was the best he had. Incidentally, it wasn't and my brother got beat up so bad he crapped on himself, but the point still stands.

Open Mic Night was last night, I actually didn't get to go because (once again) I'm shacked up in the hospital :( BUT! Before I got all carried up into the ambulance, I told my mum to bring my PSP along and now I can TOTALLY post on the boards (especially considering this stay is indefinite).

But hey, maybe next week when I'm out, or January when I'm only working one job, we can get together at the Dose. It's at 135th and Quivira, and I practically live there at night.

My thoughts exactly. I've seen many a black belt go down because they didn't actually know how to do anything except strike. Striking is fine for schoolyards, but how hard you hit is not likely to decide a fight and MUCH more likely to land you in jail. My brother was at a party and got hit so hard he landed on the other side of the car. He stood back up and asked the guy if it was the best he had. Incidentally, it wasn't and my brother got beat up so bad he crapped on himself, but the point still stands.

Other than Aerou, which everyone pretty much knows I want to meet more than anyone, I'd have to say I'd most want to meet Dakini.
