Believe me, physical beauty does get you things - smiles from almost everyone who doesn't feel threatened, lots of dates, easy access to places and action on issues (like government offices when the clerk notices you), etc. I think perhaps also good marks at school and university.

Still, it is not all that great. Most normal people suspect that there is nothing behind the beautiful façade or are too 'in a hurry' for other 'things' to find out. I think it is better to look normally attractive rather than really beautiful. Then, people treat you normally.

Anyhow-you did get the part where I said this was my wife I was talking about, right? We both work from home, so I built an office, then wound up dividing it with a wall and french doors so we didnt interfere with each other if we were working at the same time.

Hold it against you? Its wonderful to hear one partner gush over the other one! Its great that you feel that way about your significant other and I hope you guys share that all of your days.

I've said before, my wife is truly wonderful-a great mother, wife and friend. We still have that magic. Everyone should be as lucky as I.

I actually never noticed it. I usually don't care about my post count, except when i'm in the spam forum, and I haven't been there all summer.

1 - I went through the long hair thing myself, so since I'm not a conservative type, and I know you probably want to keep your hair long, I recommend A) Conditioner, B) Layering + Straighteners
Experiment with a few hairstyles maybe get a layered fringe, some highlights perhaps - depends on your budget (e.g. I've never been able to afford highlights)

2 - That kind of black t-shirt wouldn't flatter Claudia Schiffer, so if you're doing work around the yard, fine, but if you're dressing to impress, ditch it. One of my greatest discoveries was the "small" size in clothes, Now I fill out my clothing well and look much better proportioned (all a trick of the clothes I tell you!)1) My hair is one of the things I'm proud of :p

2)I'm not Claudia Schiffer ;) and:
a) I happen to like black t-shirts
b) if I wore a "small" it would barely cover my nipples :cool:

Since the notion of 'being' pretty is a fairly subjective one, we will never know.
