I don't think I'm particularaly good looking or ugly.

Um... I don't find myself attractive, but that has to do with me not being able to find guys attractive. :p

Well, I find girls and guys attractive. My problem seems to be that they don't think the same about me :p

I think I'm average in terms of physical attractiveness. Nothing terribly fine, but no pus-dripping boils or lazy eye. Most people notice that I am short (5'1", maybe 5'2" if I stand up really really straight), and that's pretty much the only comment I get on my appearance.

I think that I'm at least reasonably good-looking, but that kind of confidence is a fairly common disease among guys, so it's hard to say for sure.

I'm often told I'm easy on the eyes, but I don't put much pride or consideration into that. Intelligence, talent and ambition are far sexier than a pretty face anyday!

Personally I think I'm ok, some people say that I'm pretty but at my current age I don't really care, I just want to get good grades on my Japanese exam for once (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.)

I'm sure that's not true. as for me i guess i'm average, guys don't pay much attention to me. i have been told i'm one of the nicest people someone has met though.

My beauty definitely comes more from my personality. By themselves, my face and body are rather plain. On a day when my hair is behaving, I had some of my nicer clothes clean and put them together well, and am happy and smiling, I'm quite pretty. And regardless what my physical appearance is at any given moment, my personality helps a lot.

At my age, I have few remaining illusions about myself. I know I'll never be a Hollywierd Heartthrob, but neither am I ugly by any stretch of the imagination. Most women find me moderately attractive, even at my age, so I have no basis for complaint. :D

To be honest, I have the type of features that some like very much indeed and some care for not much at all. I consider people in the latter category to have poor taste. Proportional, yet very emphatic features are what I possess. Check out the pics list if you don't believe me.

I have been a model before for one or two magazines... but it wasn't much. People think i'm pretty hot.. but i wouldn't know. I take care of my looks, but I'm not totally absorbed in my self image.

As for me, I find women go both ways where I'm concerned. If they like blonde hair and blue eyes they usually love me, and if they're the tall, DARK, and handsome types I get passed over. I'm thin, muscular and tall so I'm not sure it's all about my face though.

I can't directly answer this question, because I honestly don't know. I really don't like what I see in the mirror, but strangers hit on me on a regular basis and the majority of my male friends have admitted to having massive crushes on me at some point - so if I'm unattractive, I guess I'm unattractive in an attractive sort of way. :p

I'd say I was attractive. I got good lips, nice legs, cute feet (they matter), and a very feminine body (not to mention thin). I am not however Hollywood or Supermodel material (very few people are, to quote the New Yorker; they got "lifes easy card" :D).

This statement reminds me of a guy my husband used to work with. He was a big, fat Irish guy who wasn't particulary good looking, but (to use an old-fashioned word) he had gobs of charisma. If you just spoke with him for five minutes you wanted to be his friend. He was a great guy.

or rather, you just think you look that way. From what I recall of the pix of you I've seen, you are a hell of a long way from ugly. My honest opinion is that while you're no beauty queen, you look like a very pleasant person. While that won't win you any modelling contracts, it does, in my books, count for a hell of a lot. Stop shitting on your self image, it does you no good.

Months ago you and I had a little conversation on here regarding your weight and body-image...and you felt fine with that aspect of yourself. Thats something I admire you for. I just hope you can accept your looks with similar equanimity and realize that you may not possess some kind of superlative beauty, you do have a certain amount of attractiveness that has nothing to do either other peoples or your own preconceptions of what attractivenss is.

Stupid remarks should be seen as exactly that. People can't affect with said stupid remarks unless you let them.

I had a buddy that was a gymnast. He was short and about 21 and looked very much like a body builder. A woman walked up to him in the mall never having met him before and told him she thought what he was doing to his body was disgusting. Stupid remarks aren't reserved for you. We all get them. We don't all let those remarks set our image of ourselves.

You have to take stupid remarks from where they come. When a person utters something that hurts you-deliberately or otherwise,do you really care what they think anyway? Dont beat yourself up just because another jerk has proven he was a jerk. And a jerk doesnt really have the power to diminish your self confidence.

I dont know you, but the little I have seen tells me you're intelligent and have done some travelling.
So you arent a huge breasted blonde guys walk into telephone poles gawking at. I suspect you dont want to be that blond,NOR do you want to have a street gawker latch onto you-right? Maybe its hard for me to give you advice-I have never really cared so much what other people thought. But that doesnt mean I dont understand what you're saying. And its really hard to get a point accross in here sometimes.
Just try not to take it to heart, try not to care. You know you're good and once you start truly believing in yourself, it may start to show. Its easy to kick someone when they're already down. It almost invites it.

I'd say I'm good looking in the face, shoulders, and arms. To a lesser extent, my back and torso. I wish I had a bit less pudge on my belly. I have strong abs beneath it, but like I said, my whole torso has more pudge then I'd like. My butt and legs I do not like, though my girlfriend does. I really like how dark I am, the way my Greek blood manifests it's self in my skin tone, especially when I get a little sun. I have never in my life burnt. I also love my long hair. It's black at the top, but gets lighter as it goes down, and the tips are almost blonde. Indoors, my hair is nearly jet black, but in the sun, it's chestnut brown, sometimes with red hilights.

I'd say my favorite features are my face, hair, and biceps. I work construction part time, and practice Tang Soo Do, and I really like the way it's made my arms look.

I get the same way. I try to think positively, but I don't think, overall, I am a good looking person. When someone insults me, I have a very hard time not taking it to heart. I've gotten a bit better, though.

You're not plain, you're a good looking chap with nice brown eyes

but here's a few tips to improve your look if you want to

1 - I went through the long hair thing myself, so since I'm not a conservative type, and I know you probably want to keep your hair long, I recommend A) Conditioner, B) Layering + Straighteners
Experiment with a few hairstyles maybe get a layered fringe, some highlights perhaps - depends on your budget (e.g. I've never been able to afford highlights)

2 - That kind of black t-shirt wouldn't flatter Claudia Schiffer, so if you're doing work around the yard, fine, but if you're dressing to impress, ditch it. One of my greatest discoveries was the "small" size in clothes, Now I fill out my clothing well and look much better proportioned (all a trick of the clothes I tell you!)

Same here... but to be honest, my really really pale white skin is one of the few things I like about myself. It goes so nicely with darkish red hair and green eyes ;)

Not entirely sure... it's hard to form an opinion, because I've seen myself so often that any impression I have about my appearance is bound to be unreliable (what with my having gotten used to myself long ago and all) - although I'm fairly certain that I'm neither much better nor much worse than average. My mother has always thought I'm handsome, but then... well, it'd be nice to hear a few opinions that aren't so obviously biased. :p Maybe I'll post pictures later when I can find some good recent ones.
