That rips the fun out of it for me, because I really have no idea :(
Basically it is a cunning ploy of someone who should know what they are talking about cunningly hiding the fact in the guise of a harmless alteration of the game so they can sneak some easy points on us who know little of what is really going on.
I however will not be swayed by this vile act.

I have my eye on you I V Stalin...............

good idea, you will get points for correctly guessing those, and predictions must be made by December 1st, otherwise it'll start getting too easy
Champions League group stage doesn't finish until 7th December - and 3rd place in each group goes into the UEFA Cup. I have a feeling Man Utd may win the UEFA Cup this season :p ...you might want to make the deadline by Christmas, or round then, at least.

1-0! Against Lille! 6th in the French league, possibly the weakest national league of all the main European countries. Will it get worse for them? 4-1 to Middlesbrough, then *that* Keane tape, now losing to Lille...and I don't see it getting better on Sunday, when they play Chelsea. And the Charlton match isn't a walkover either.
Apologies to any Man Utd fans...if you want to get stuck in, I'm an Arsenal fan.

Meh ... We're going through a rough patch. A lot of injuries once again (This is becoming an annual occurance :( ), but the players that are out there for Man Utd aren't performing to the best of their ability either, so that doesn't help!

I trust Alex Ferguson to turn things around. He's been at the top for so long, and knows what it takes to build a title winning side. I just hope he can do it again before he retires!!!

Apologies to any Man Utd fans...if you want to get stuck in, I'm an Arsenal fan.

wow, you know an awful lot about English football matches for an american

i have become educated by Fox Soccer Channel... and especially enjoy watching the Fanzone broadcasts where fans of both teams yell at each other the entire time. lol

(there are a few Americans who supplement their weekly allotment of football, basketball and baseball - etc.- with the world game)

I have become a huge fan of Steven Gerrard and John Terry. And Rooney is built like a bull.

Monkeypimp has one of his worst weeks on record, scoring just two points to allow I V Stalin the chance to go top on his own. However, despite a solid 4 from the Man of Steel, Bettia scores an amazing 8/10 to propel himself to the top. Sonaj and Qwerty Lands both plod along, scoring 4 each, while Harlesburg slips a further place as he forgets to place his predictions for the second week running. New contender Liverpool England, in just two weeks has climbed into the top half of the table in 9th, but is still a massive 18 points behind FairyTinkArisen. With half the season to go, anything could happen.

Normal service will be resumed soon (by which I mean I'll be top).
This whole game is a conspiracy against me - in the first few weeks I played Tink didn't bother including my scores on the leaderboard :(
Admittedly the only reason I'm top is that I've missed the fewest weeks out of everyone :D

I'm hoping for some other results this week...I've bet £20 on various combinations (doubles, trebles, etc) of the following matches:
Arsenal - Middlesbrough
Liverpool - Tottenham
Wigan - West Brom
Sunderland - Chelsea
Walsall - Colchester
MK Dons - Yeovil
Rushden & Diamonds - Wrexham
