The day's been a bit too long for my liking. I need to get over this... tiredness.

She held out a hand, and in a flash of black, a cold sake with ice appeared in her hand. Collapsing onto the couch next to the fireplace, she let out a sigh, and settled in for as tiresome a night as the day had been.

Why does everyone seem to have a case of amnesia? I can remember everything that happened... everything.

The glass that held the sake exploded, glass shards floating through the air before dissolving into black fire, then to ash.

Except there's something... someone... a man. He evades my mind constantly. In dreams, he comes, and I can never tell who he is... I can never hear him speak. But he's there.

Bored, and tired, she materialized another drink. This time, it was vodka. She took a sip, and reminiscence flooded her mind.

A man... a club... a forest... death... fire... everything. It was all there; it all happened; we were all a part of it. But why can't I remember?! These little pieces!! These tiny puzzle pieces!! I pick them up, and they disintegrate in my hands.

"WHY?!" she screamed aloud in frustration, leaping from the couch. She turned and slammed the bottle of vodka into the fire, and the fire place exploded into a ball of flame. She crumpled to the floor, weeping quietly as the fire burned to ashes around her on the mantle of the fireplace.
