I don't remember my first post, though I'm pretty sure it went un-noticed. I think my first thread was the poll pitting pirates against ninjas that after I left that night spawned a bunch of X vs. Y threads. And some of the funniest answers I've ever seen.

I've always seen you as someone that's around. I can't really identify a single post or series of posts that stand out in my mind, but I know I've seen your posts frequently and have never found problems with them. I think that's the thing, though. I tend to remember people more if I don't like what they say as opposed to if I do like what they say.

my first post (only a few months ago) was a venurable essay lol... some debate thread about something and i jumped straight in with lots of seriously considered arguements, etc... can't be arsed now :p
people were nice about it, i said something along the lines of 'sorry for the presumptious post from a 1 post noob' or something, and ppl were really nice ('your opinion still matters' etc) rather than mean or making fun of me cos i was a noob (has happened on other forums :( )
so now, when i spot a noob, i make a point of saying hi and welcoming them to NS :)

Back when I was on the original PC Gamer forums, there was a loveable character called Smeos. Ye olde Smeos managed to rack up an unbelievable post count every month.

Last time I checked, his post count standed at around 25,000. I'm sure that if he was on here instead of PCGO, he'd have had a lot more than that.

On the old forums, accounts of ex-nations went *foom* - IMO, ex-nations shouldn't even be on this list.

I think ex-nations with high postcounts should be in the hall of fame, sort of like sports players with great achievements that retire, and then go there.

I've been to 11,000 before but then, march last year, they did anothe pruge and I went back down to like 7,000! That was awful and trying to get my posts back, coupled with the move to this ugly forum and the departure of old generalites meant that I lost interest and moved on.
