He watched her go, she was clutching her stomach as she went, and somthing inside him wanted nothing more than to run to her and hug her with all his strength and tenderness, the woman he had loved since he had become himself really, and the woman who was still carrying her child.
Stag would have....but the man watching her leave didn't know where Stag was. Somthing inside him was missing, not just Fen but part of himself that had been held up by loving her and her loving him. Life really held nothing of an attraction, but even so the tiny part of himself that retained the echo of Stag sent tears pouring down his cheeks

Naw. it's usually the total opposite--dead quiet.

Future plans? Well, when the sun dies out in about 5 or 8 billion years, i'll move the entire planet to somehwere else, and reheat the core, so this place can remain true to it's name ;) That's about it, really.

He placed the pendent reverantly on the rock he was sitting on, and becasue there are some things men have to do when a friend dies he hit the rock wall behind him as hard as he could
'Damn, why?!' Somthing occured to him and he walked a little way down a barely visable path. Eventually he got to a waterfall and-
did not step behind it. instead he climbed a little way up beside it and climbed into a cave that winded some way into the stone in a laberinth. He got to a room lit by thousands of candles and looked down at the countless stones arranged carefully on the floor. Each one had belonged to a long dead clan member. And now he gently placed he pendent down amongst them. He made his way out of the cave feeling as if he had done the right thing

'Ok then...' Stag looked round from a vantage point on the crest of the waterfall. He spotted a herd of horses and sprinted over to them. One of them gave him an evil look, so he returned it
'Ok, I know you don't like being ridden, but I just need a favour ok?' The horse grudgingly turned so he could get up. The herds on the mountains had learnt if they didn't get docile fast then they were nutted between the eyes by the more liberal of the clan members.
Soon he rode up to where Fen was crying with mistletoe and he hopped down from the horse, slightly saddlesore
'Fen' He knelt by her and put his arms round her
'I know, he was my friend too'
