As in memories associated with certain songs, so you remember them when you hear the song again? It nearly killed RHCP's Calforication album for me after a difficult break up. Plus more recently certain songs can have a seriously depressing effect on me. :(

Yeah I don't seem to have many happy music associations :( Californication's a really bad song for me too.. Plus I know everyone thinks Radiohead is the most depressing thing since razor blades, but I like them, except for The Bends. I listened to them at a really bad point in my life and now they're not really worth going near for me.

This thread was inspired by Randomea's thread 'the newb thread'. Here you can introduce a newb to the rest of the NS posters. Then, hopefully the newbs will feel more at home and they will engage in more conversations.

I would like to introduce Oscarina, Hylian Peoples, and Faschistos.

Oscarina has already been here for a week or so. She has already spoken to a lot of the posters. She is very smart and nice. She likes to engage in a lot of the debates, especially ones about boobs.

Hylain Peoples is a Russian boxer. I am already intrigued by that imformation alone. I can't wait to see what else he tells us.

Faschistos is a brand new poster. I don't know much about him but he/she is very nice and likes the word uber. I think that he/she is also German. (I'll have to find out about the gender.)

I'd say when you've been posting for a few months and people are starting to know who you are, you can't really say with posts cause there's n00bs out there who spam and get loads of posts really quickly
