reminds me of a story Ju told me once.

the US FAA tests winsheilds by launching uncooked chickens from an Air Cannon. the windsheilds for the aircraft pass if the chicken doesn't penetrate the plexiglass. Britian was interested in this method of testing an borrowed an air cannon, and proceeded to launch their own chickens into the windshields of their planes.

They couldn't understand why the chickens would not only go through the windshield, but also though the door of the flight deck as well. they sent the reports as well as the test results to the Americans.

the Americans sent back a short reply. "Defrost the chickens first"
