what was it?I don't know how long I was there before you arrived. however, someone or something was protecting me, after my first night in those ruins... why? I don't know. But the feelings I got tho was that he loved you and Tomlin... he was doing everything he could to protect the two of you. Unfortunatly, my arrival there probably caused the demon to realize you were no longer there since you were in my memories. Nick fought to keep the demon from coming for you... I know that now.

when you came to that place... when the demon saw you...

He was ready to sacrifice everything to see you and Tomlin safe. but I think he was also in torment... holding that thing at bay. by killing it. you freed him to pass on.

It's more of a feeling that I got... I really can't put it in words... but love was there and relief.

The last thing she remembered was trying to get out of the main room, but each door she tried brought her back to the same place. It had been maddening. And all the while, she heard the voices of her old friends from Paradise. Her back ached sharply along her shoulder blades and she had a headache to match. With a groan, she dragged herself out from beneath the remains and slowly stood. Behind her, she noticed her wings were back, which probably explained the soreness. With a tired yet pleased grin, she began making her way back to the PC.*
