If you could magicly find the perfect person to spend your life with, what would that person be like? Would the relationship be around money, love, sex?

What do you think?

they'd have to be funny and quite intelligent and a bit geeky, and have either an Irish, a posh southern, australian, a south african or american accent

take the partner i've got, and instill in him the uncontrollable urge to clean the bathroom twice a month.

an inellectual equal, someone i truly feel comfortable with - that i can talk to about anything, likes a very wide variety of music (but, of course, prefers rock :) ), she'd love me for who i am, and stay together no matter what i/we do. also preferably attractive, blonde (not that fussed actually, but if we're doing 'ideal'), GSOH and petite (really tall chicks just dont do it for me  ).

that'll do me just fine ;)

LOL Brilliant.

Someone who fills out the missing chunks of my personality - motivation and organisation. Someone who'll let me rest my head on their lap when I'm feeling down and who'll do the same when they're feeling down. Someone who'll need me as much as I need them.

Someone who'll help me take over the world....

The...The Horror!

Hm. Maybe I'll contribute something to the thread, for a change.

So the ideal mate? I think i already met her before, but now she's dating some girl.

Anyway, somewhat geeky (if only to counterbalance my own geekitude), adventurous, intelligent, some interest in politics, art, film and music without being a complete protestaholic, somewhat lax in the religious department or at least willing to allow me to do so. Able to share a fridge, couch and bed with me, and shelf space with my extensive collection of action figures.

In the realm of the physical, I'm not exceptionally picky. Small is nice though, maybe 5'3-ish? As long as I could sit in a chair and have her sit comfortably sideways in my lap for a movie, it's all good. Hair colour is not an issue, though I do gravitate towards redheads, possibly because I'm one myself.

Oh, yes, alomost forgot. The ability to motivate me. Take that with whatever connotation you want.

Revolve around many things actually.

Someone who shares my dream, and wants to accomplish it with me, my partner that strengthens my weaknesses and although knows my weaknesses but still love me otherwise.

Loves to read, and has her own opinions regarding things but is willing to submit or compromise for the good of both our sake.

Christ centred, and has more or less similar moral and ethical values (which if she's a Christian, it should be around the same).

Not too many emotional baggages, I know some people who are just psycho.

Some extra's are love cooking (me too), love kids, and continually cheerful 24/7.

My ideal mate is someone who I find attractive, shares a good deal of my politcal views (or at least has views close enough to my own that I can deal with), and shares my love and passion for creating music. Bonus point if she likes the same sort of music I do.

After all the couple that play (music!) together, stays together.

Well, she's about 5 ft. 6 1/2 in. in height, have medium to dark red hair; she'd be very intellectual and yet perfectly humble; she'd have all the social graces and never slip in public - everyone would love her. She'd have to be able to sing well, love me very much, dress well, never be a bore, always display her good sense of humor and ability to engage in interesting polite conversation, love animals, love books, and always love a good opera.

I wouldn't mind her sharing my conservative political views either, and she'd also have to have at least a slight interest in history, comparative religion, and classic literature.

Gosh, good thread! Just last night, I was having this internal battle about what an ideal mate really was. Security verses passion, or both. Nonetheless, perhaps since I can remember, I have had this vision in my heart, which fearfully, I am quite in love with, not to mention attached to.

This ideal is:

Urban going yet nature loving- dark brown hair- spectacles- light spring in his step- angelic smile of innocence with a hint of mischief right under his collar- swiss army cologne wearing- intellectual -amazing cook and tantric lover- pianist/ musician- shapeshifter - magician- wizard - guru- graceful- genteel- playful- hypersensitive- a big baby- cupid like- incredibly shy yet aggressive- insatiable romantic- eastern philosopher- velvety voice- geeky -nerdy- techno dork- sometime gamer- very successful- accomplished - yet down to earth- casanova type -into yoga and martial arts- environmental/ political activist for greater causes of good- lazor like perceptions and intuition- honorable- noble- and above all kind to a fault even - self realized.

No matter what I do, I cannot shake the yearning for this particular recipe. It's almost as if these ideal ingredients were hardwired into my heart's mind. Rather like my twin flame/ other half come to life.

If you could magicly find the perfect person to spend your life with, what would that person be like? Would the relationship be around money, love, sex?

What do you think?

(1) I'd think he was smarter than me, and vice versa.
(2) He'd be incredibly committed to what he believed was moral.
(3) He wouldn't be a religious fundamentalist.
(4) He'd be three to seven years older than me.
(5) He'd be open-minded and enjoy debate.
(6) He'd have some reason for his political beliefs and wouldn't say "Oh, that's just my opinion" every time we debated.
(7) He wouldn't treat debate as some sort of competition in which the sole purpose is to defeat one's opponent.
(8) He wouldn't allow emotion to cloud his judgement. He'd be a very rational guy.
(9) He'd like me.
(10) He'd still like me if I gained two hundred pounds.
(11) He'd have some semblance of a sense of humor, but not mock things meant to be taken seriously.
(12) He wouldn't be obsessed with sex.
(13) He wouldn't do drugs of any sort.
(14) <insert all other positive character traits here>

Indeed I have. I haven't played any diplomacy in a while, unfortunately, since most of the gaming group I was part of back home are scattered to the winds. I'm not even sure some of them like me anymore, anyway.

Looks would sorta matter at first, I am not exactly the best looking person in the world or anything, but I'm not the ugliest either, but I think after a while, if we grew old and got fat together it would be ok, just for now I am young and looks do matter to a point, just as long as they don't look like the female version of yoko zuna it shouldn't be a problem.

Its very comfortable. :p And that we can laugh together and she do most of the talking cause i am naturally quiet, and never sleep on an argument

Damn being bi, I have to think of two now! :D

Ok, for teh female:
Much shorter than me, 5'3 at the tallest, hair that she can at least tie back, and if she had dark hair and short pigtails *swoons* i love that lol. She has to be pretty smart, politically has to be left or middle republican and Bush supporting (I can't stand a lot of the people I like, lol). Very liberal when it comes to sex, but not ready to have it yet. Likes my kind of music (punk/ska/rock), and doesn't like rap (Seeing my last gf I'm such a hippocrite on that).

For a guy:
Preferably gay and not bi like me. Tall, handsome, nice, not an asshole. Liberal, very very liberal. Preferably these are not fundamentally christian/catholic people cause I can't stand them. The music thing like the last one I'm not really picky on the guys. Oh, hair. Short, and if it's long it's gotta look hot. Mohawks are nice.

For both: Can cook, doesn't shove beliefs down my throat, and will deal with my emotional needs.

I probably left a lot out

Intelligent, kind, sensitive, self-confident, a good sense of humour. As a bonus, it would be nice if he looked like Johnny Depp and spoke with an English accent....lol. The relationship would be built on love, because i wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with him if it wasn't, but i would hope we would have a healthy sex life too. Money doesn't matter at all, as long as he's not living in a cardboard box in an alley somewhere..lol.

My Ideal mate?

Puh lease!

As if we'll ever meet eachother  :(

*Weeps uncontrollably*

I tend to strongly gravitate to women between the ages of 26 and 45. Same age as me is fine as well, and younger is okay also.

Shorter than me (I'm 5'2)

Boobs no bigger than F-cup, no smaller than C-cup

Black hair

Black or brown eyes

Either pale white skin, or Asian, preferably vietnamese or chinese or the like.

Weighs 110-120 lbs.

Into the same stuff I am (astronomy, astrology, mysticism, Pluto :D , loads and loads of sex)

Is atheist/agnostic and against abortion (I highly doubt that latter part :( )

Will help me implement my Plutonian Empire in RL

Rich enough to support my lazy, energy-hogging arse ( :D ), but NOT a golddigger.

I'm hoping she is a pisces or cancer. Other signs are okay, but I'm sure as hell not gonna go out with or reproduce with a taurus. My mother is a taurus, so you might see where I'm coming from with this.

Doesn't want children. (I used to want some, but then after meeting my 2 year old niece, I realized I'm not too patient with kids). One who does want kids is okay, but don't hold your breath.

Lemme guess. She doesn't exist?

WWWWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh.......

My perfect woman…

*drools*

Physically: she would be blonde, about 5’10 ft tall with long tanned legs and a fine feminine figure, tight butt and medium-sized breasts.

Personality: she would be kind/caring, yet vivacious and loving of life. My perfect woman would have to be a real 'girly girl' as well, into shopping, clothes, pedicures... all that stuff I'm not :D.

Ideally she would be great in bed, though our relationship would be centered around love, with the sex playing an important role. I'd certainly want her to be my wife.

If you could magicly find the perfect person to spend your life with, what would that person be like? Would the relationship be around money, love, sex?

What do you think?

For me, it would go in this order, love, sex, then money. You have to have love for that special girl, sex is great and all but not as important as love, and money may buy you material things, but not happiness.

Take It Easy Everyone,

My mom seems to have a short temper, and she never changes her opinion no matter how hard anyone may try. Because of that, I seem to have a bitter attitude towards taurean women. :(

But my mom's positives frequently outweighs her negatives, so that's a plus :)

All i want is a hippie who lives in Armidale, Australia (or someone who is willing to move there! or close) Honesty and Intelligence are a must. They're the only prerequisites! 1) White (ideally of Western European origins, but Russian women are fine too. Also South African and Argentine women are good too :D)

2) Heterosexual

3) Calvinist + bible fundamentalist. Although as long as they believe in Christ and don't object to any children we'd have, being raised Calvinist, I'd not mind whatever denomination they're in, with exceptions (No Unitarians, no Methodists, no Mormons, no Jehovah Witnesses, no Episcoplians, no 7th Day Adventists)

4) Right-winger (At least nearly as right-wing as I am) (Not a false right-winger "Neo con" or "Red dog republican" who blindly follows the NWO puppets)

5) Traditional morality and traditional gender roles. Willing to have between 6-12 kids and help homeschool them.

6) Between 5'5-5'9, no taller than 5'11. Since I am 6'0, I don't want a woman who is as tall or taller than me. It'd feel very abnormal dating a woman that was so tall I'd have to stand on a chair to kiss.

7) A degree of intelligence such that we could carry on worthwhile conversations about serious issues. Also I'd like her to be able to articulate herself to me in a manner that is mature and sounds professional and as though she's thought long on the topics being discussed. People who use jive/ebonics slang and other worthless ways of talking, they sound like idiots and I can't respect an idiot.

8) Open to the possibility of around age 40-45, moving to a large commercial farm in either the Midwestern USA, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, or South Africa.

9) (Added) Women who can speak several languages are even better. I myself know a good of Spanish and am working on learning lots more. I'm also teaching myself more and more Afrikaans since I don't know as much as I ought to know. Damn education system! They should have taught me Afrikaans!

I don't like the idea of adoption, I won't raise another man's kids, that's just not something that I like the idea of. Of course if a friend or relative was to die or something, I'd strongly consider it if there was nobody else who was qualified and eager (and related or well known with the kids) who wanted to raise them.

For instance, your aunt and uncle get killed in a carjacking, do you let their kids get raised by some Neo-Con-artist or some Democan't.

What would you do if your brother and sister-in-law were killed in a farm attack, let their kids be raised by some traitor who probably voted ANC in 94?

I for one would then not only offer to raise the kids, I'd demand it, I'd be the loudest and most vocal on saying, "Hey, I'll do it! I'll do it!"

Of course this could only be possible once I get a steady and good paying job, which will be basically immediately after I get out of college.

If I can, I'm going to travel all over the world and collect children from different cultures, so I think it's a good idea. It might cause some problems, but if you learn and teach as much as you can about their history, and if you can have contact with their real parents, then they should be fine. There are other things that can trigger identity... I'm having an odd crisis right now... A body/identity crisis... I feel like I should be a cougar or a dinosaur or something other than human and yet, I know I am human. It's a really odd feeling.

Of course this could only be possible once I get a steady and good paying job, which will be basically immediately after I get out of college.

I like the idea... I mean, it can bring kids without parents in different countries a family. What's so horrible about that? I could really care less about human lives because of everything we've done, but still. I wouldn't take in a kid from a rich family who could care for the child. I would take in a kid from a family who couldnt take care of it.

A girl who is young and beautiful.

Who is outgoing, extraverted, cheerful and fun-loving - so they can counterbalance my introverted, depressed and sarcastic manner. She must be able to lead me by action and word.

A girl whose compassion and love know no bounds, and who seeks to help others; someone selfless.

A girl who is intelligent, educated, clever and creative - highly so.

A girl who'll love me for all my faults as well as my virtues.

A girl who possesses some interests and hobbies in common with me - not all, but some, for common ground.

A girl who can push me to do new and great things; I lack the motivation myself, or perhaps even the very thoughts necessary. She would be able to provide all of that and more.

She would appreciate gallantry and chivalry.

Note: Women don't know what they want.

When I think of a mate for myself, I can't help but remember the lyrics to an old song I used to hear on an oldies radio station.

"If You Want to be Happy"
by Jimmy Soul

[chorus x2]
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you

[1st verse]
A pretty woman makes her husband look small
And very often causes his downfall
As soon as he married her and then she starts
To do the things that will break his heart
But if you make an ugly woman your wife
A-you'll be happy for the rest of your life
An ug-a-ly woman cooks meals on time
And she'll always give you peace of mind

[chorus]
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you

[2nd verse]
Don't let your friends say you have no taste
Go ahead and marry anyway
Though her face is ugly, her eyes don't match
Take it from me, she's a better catch

[chorus]
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you

[spoken]
Say man!
Hey baby!
I saw your wife the other day!
Yeah?
Yeah, an' she's ug-leeee!
Yeah, she's ugly, but she sure can cook, baby!
Yeah, alright!

[chorus x4]

If you want to adopt a child, it doesn't matter what country, just what sort of folks.

I mean there are lots of good kids in Ukraine, Russia, Argentina, South Africa, Romania, etc, who need good parents.

Just make sure the kids you're adopting are the right kind of kids. Anybody who goes to say, China, to adopt a kid, is just promoting the Chinese practice of breeding too much.

Boer kids who are orphans, are mostly such do to farm attacks, and it's no fault of theirs that the communists killed their parents. They deserve good homes and they deserve to be taught and raised in the Boer way.

Cool, thanks for the input. It's good to hear from an adoptee, rather than from a journal or whatever.

Still, this is going to be at least 5 years in the future, so we have loads of time for research and soul-searching.

Well in my opinion, half of the, what was it, 1.2 billion people? in China should die. There's my evil people hating side. Also, people should start moving to Germany. They need it, they're starting to have less people for jobs... and people who need lots of kids to work on a farm, instead of mating a lot, they should adopt from places where people need parents. Hmm.. Well, it's gonna be quick, Im headed to bed after this post. Still recovering from being sick. o.o; Right-O. I want someone that isn't afraid to be weak in front of me and knows that I'll depend on them for the same thing. I don't really care about what their religious or political views are, so long as they can back them up with their own thoughts and can admit that other people can think differently. (Alot of people seem to have trouble with this. :P) As for habits; Meh. Im a messy person; So long as it doesn't try to kill me by being wherever it is, there it stays till I need it. I don't mind neat people; Just don't expect me to be one. Physical; About the same size, maybe a little smaller then me; 5' 8", so not that hard. Hair doesn't matter that much, though redheads seem to be a preference for me, and eye colour couldn't matter less. Alot of the other things - Job, Sex, Money - Don't really matter just yet, as Im a sophmore in highschool. :P My two bits. Night, folks.

Hey, anytime. Hehehe, I have a few years. I'm going to run for Prime Minister of Canada when I'm 18 then try and unscrew the government as much as possible, then push the world into fixing itself up so we can save the economy and lower our population to a more sustainable level. So I have like... two years to sort myself out and learn to control my instincts better. Then sometime after that I'll get kids.

Ummm, not right at all, 4-6 million people (Germans) are unemployed in Germany.

Nuh, future future, not right this second. They're going into Stage 5 or something... Learning it in socials. So basically, the population is growing way older, much like Canada who is going into stage 4. Basically, as far as I know because I haven't researched into this, by the time the jobs empty, the people will be too old to work.

The American government is a corrupt government which continually gets led by morons. Not to say Canada's Prime Minister's are better, they're just funnier in a haha instead of an idiotic way... and not to say that other countries governments aren't as corrupt as the American government, it's just that the American government gets so much more attention over here and I continually think "What the hell is wrong with these morons?" I get very annoyed with people very quickly. It grows to the point where I cannot stand to be around them, as every little thing begins to be magnified.

I have only known three people in my 22 years that didn't fit into that classification. Two are my siblings, and the other is my roommate, and there is absolutely nothing physical with him.

Nothing pisses me off more than a noisy eater, but a noisy breather is close. If your body is making noises, just stay away from me. (There are a few good noises, but those are generally universal)

The only thing I don't like about my brother is his innate ability to keep his mouth wide open while chewing.

But my brother is 10, and my sister is 8, and I am very much just a big kid. I can't say that there is a happier time for me, than when I'm playing with my siblings.

My ex snored loud enough to shake the plaster off the walls.
But my sister is just plain nuts, always stretched out my shirts and is so modest she won't let me in the bathroom if she's taking a shower. The stretching my shirts out always really bugged me. She was a D cup when she was 12, and a DD by time she was 14. I'm not flat chested, but I couldn't quite keep up with her.

That's comforting. Also the fact that I was always slim and she was a little chubby. But now I think she's the thinner of us. I'm about 140, which is about 10 more than I should weigh for my height. Ugh. I'd better get off the computer and go for a walk. :D But she's only 5'2", so she can't carry as much without looking chubby. Gee, I'm rambling. :D

http://www.tvnz.co.nz/view/tv2_story_skin/455558%3fformat=html-The quality of New Zeand Television.

Basically 10 women get left in Burra(small town in Australia)and the townsfolk vote them out until one is left.
They have been billo(e)ted with Town families.
They have to do tasks.
They also have to help out around the town earning their keep and all.
Its similar to Outback Jack-More quality TV.

Deneb is a white hot superstar that is 3228 light years away, in the costellation of Cygnus, I belive. (I'll have to check my Celestia program to be sure it's in Cygnus).

I think I already e-married somebody. I just can't for the life of me remember who. It's tragic to lose a husband, but just plain irresponsible to misplace one. :D

*Crosses Bitchkitten off his "Nice Women I'd like to go out with IRL" list* (Like I said in the "getting married to tink" thread, I don't do married women)

*Considers closing the borders of Jupiter's Core, therefore isolating the hideout from the rest of the Universe* :(

That's two women I've crossed off the list. 3rd time's always a charm

If you could magicly find the perfect person to spend your life with, what would that person be like? Would the relationship be around money, love, sex?

What do you think?

They'd be Chris Carrabba.

Although he might whine alot.

Maybe she'd be Angelina Jolie, too... or Kiera Knightly, I'm not picky.
