The stones piled over the graves had become scattered and layin a messy circle around the two mounds. She sank to her knees,sobbing, as she lay down the black roses she had brought with her.*

It's just that everytime I'm with Orchid, people steer clear of us. Jon is always out of the room within the next minute. Even if I invite him to have a drink. He thinks we need to be alone like.... all the time.

She turned her head and kissed him gently, bringing her hand up to caress his cheek. And in that instant, she felt the air change.
She turned startled back to the window, where a wave of blood seemed to wash over the ground, heading straight for the club. At the forefront, stood a man she didnt know, his dark visage stained with the black of all the demon blood flowing within him. He looked up, saw them standing there, and smiled dreadfully, the whites of his teeth gleaming in stark contrast to his skin.
She ran to the bassinet, and picked up the still sleeping Tomlin, but by then, it was too late.......

He came in the room, chilling it. Tomlin woke up and started to cry, despite her efforts to shush him. Nick stood in front of them, protecting them from this man. He was the first to fall. A wave of electricity seemed to course through his body, and he fell to the ground writhing, in obvious pain as the man came towards her and her son.
He gripped her chin, forcing her to look in his eyes, her grey meeting his with what she hoped was disdain. He looked away back to Nick, and stretched his hand out. Instantly, he started to writhe again, the electricity running through his veins, setting his heart afire. He looked at her, tears running down his face as the pain overwhelmed him and mouthed the words "I love you" before sinking into death.

*walks back in slowly*

After an hour, Nick's body was unrecognizable. The smell of burned flesh permeated the room, his eyes dead and his face contorted in pain.
Her tears fell unheeded to the ground, as she joined her son's wailing cries, as he threw her husband's body to the other side of the room and advanced on her slowly

He stood in front of her, rendering her psyonist powers useless. Whoever this was, he was able to combat even the most powerful, emotion laden actions into a mere whisper of their former power. She tried to kick him, but he just grabbed her foot, caressing the ankle before twisting it savegely, breaking it easily. She cried out in pain, and gripped Tomlin all the more tightly to her ash he reached out for her only son

He reached out and touched Tomlin, and instantly she felt his muscles relax in her arms. She looked down in horror to see a wasted pale face greet her, the eyes closed in death instantly, the skin cold to the touch. Her wail reached through the walls echoing throughout the now empty club, the sound of a mother in pain forever tainting the home

He looked at her hollow eyes, glazed over in shock, and reached out for her. Somewhere deep down, she hoped he would send her to death, to remain with her family, but he merely wiped a tear away. With a horrid smirk, he picked her up, gathering her limp body in his arms and taking her to the stairs. He kissed her, a foreign mouth that she couldnt even battle with before he threw her over the banister to the floor three stories below. He walked casually down the stairs even stopping to light a cigarette, before alighting and stooping by her crumpled body. Apparently satisfied with his handiwork he walked off, leaving her broken but alive in a pool of her own blood

She didnt know how long she lay there, all she remembered was hoping death would come soon. But like a final slap in the face, she began to heal. Not of her own initiative, her powers fought were her body would, or could, not. Gradually she was able to rise from the pool of caked on blood and sat up, a hollow shell of her former self and wept for hours for her life, for her love, both of which had left her forever.......

'Ow, you know I'm going to repay that' He got up and wrapped the towel around her, catching her arms and pulling her towards him. He ran his hands over her thighs
'Hmm, not bad after two children' He grinned and kissed her on the lips, and then unravlled her
