I even started an employment thread titled "curious about wwms' jobs." I must say quite an interesting mix of jobs there. We have a morgage broker, an appraiser for a private firm, a chef for the University of Utah, a movie theatre's shift manager, and other interesting jobs. Actually in many Muslim countries they wear little skullcaps remarkably similar to a yarmulka! the way you tell a yarmulka from one of these is that in general a yarmulka is smaller so that it can be easily put in one's pocket.
The kilt as we know it isn't real Scottish traditional dress. the garment it was derived from was the clothing of a VERY poor man. The original garment, the belted plaid, fell off easily and was a pain to put on in the morning. Some English guy invented the modern kilt as a means of over comeing these difficulties with the belted plaid.
Celtic people are known to have invented trousers and Highland Scots were known to wear trousers more often than the belted plaid.

Yeah a friend of mine who's 15 can get really shaggy, and had a really shaggy goatee, which he shaved off accidently because he set his [electric] razor wrong cause he tried shaving at 3 in the morning. I get like 15 hairs total, which gets embarassing after a few days.

The city is allright...it's kinda strange though when you're driving around downtown. You go from ghetto to major business district and back to ghetto in like a 5 block drive. That and I still haven't quite figured out how to find my way around in the downtown area driving yet. Pretty confusing at times. But like I said, overall not too bad, definately got some good places to eat at least :)
