So many people say this but I disagree. The Pistols have probably produced the "OMGZ PUNK IZ ALL ABOUT ANARKI AND H8!!1" stereotype which makes you want to bitchslap the person who said it.
The Sex Pistols are fucking annoying and their music sucks, if they are the best that punk can offer that's really sad.
The Dead Kennedys deserve the vote much more than the Pistols. Their music was intelligent, sarcastic, and political. Even on stage Jello Biafra is hilarious and smart. Boom.
