Arabs are of Caucasian ancestry, whether they are white or not is a cultural thing. Other primarily Muslim peoples are even closer linked to Caucasians, such as the Indo-European Turks and Persians, many of whom sport green eyes. My Afghan-next door neighbour looks Italian.

What I mean by this is that 'white' is a concept more than it is a firm reality. In the early-mid 19th century, the question was whether the Irish were white, in the mid-late 19th century, it was the southern Italians. Now, it's Arabs, Jewish people of Ashkenazic and Sephardic stock, Turks and the rest. Race is not an absolute, it is subjective. Khoisans are as different from Bantus as Germans are different from the Hausa.

While I think that Catholic priests are no more likely to molest children than anyone else, the Catholic Church, by its complicity (look that word up son, I know it's a big one) allowed potential molestors to find a haven for their behavior. I ashamed of my Church for this. You should be too, but you can't read and are apparently blind on top of it.

George Bush has a lot of power too. He is abusing it in Iraq. The soldiers who choose to follow him have to decide for themselves whether or not their Commander in Chief is right. While they can't be blamed to the extent that Bush can be, they can be blamed if they decide to go to Iraq against their conscience, or do things in Iraq that are wrong, illegal, and inhumane. Its all part of the four major divisions of the human race, that are Caucasians (all whites), Asians (excluding the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union), Africans (blacks), and Australoids (Australian natives). Arabs definitely aren't Australians, and we know they aren't black. They sure aren't Asians, so they fit into the Caucasoid class.

I've skipped some pages on this thread, so eccuse me if this has been said.
People are too quick to shout "rascism" when the topic of race is brought up by someone who is white. Race is a topic which is out of bounds for white people, and yet if a white person proclaims that they are proud to be white, they will get attacked.

The problem is that these attakcs come from white people, often it comes from "liberals" who are always quick to brand the proud person. Do a google search for White pride, then do the same for black or gay or female.....Which one will be only of negative sites?

The problem comes from white people with a "guilt complex", on the UK it is people who are ashamed of the British Empire and do not want it's history (good and bad) taught in schools. Despite whites being the people who shipped Black slaves to America, we are not taught that those slaves were sold by Black Tribal chiefs, or that the Majority of "slave masters" were Arabs. History is geared to be negative to just white people.

The pendulum swings both ways, and there are already signs that white people are fed up with being seen as the enemy or great satan, this is leading to resentment against minorities, and they will eventually win out in the west if things continue.

The best way to solve it, is to stop pandering to minorities and tell them to get on with life and stop blaming others for your misfortune. And for certain groups of white people to stop feeling guilty for history. Also in the UK "liberal or Left" politicians are always banning things like Xmas nativities and things so they don't offend minorities. This is condescending and ironically more rascist than those who question.

When speaking of a black persons race, I've always said black. Haven't ever had a problem from any black person about it. Either because they just arent offended by it, or because they knew I wasnt meaning it in a derrogatory(sp?) way. /shrug

White people un cool what about Keith Richards he is cool personified as are a shit load of other white rock star people! However Jimi hendrix is the god of all cool and Bob marley is also pretty godly in the cool department so its kinda hard to call this one. I supose it depends on how you define cool but i think we can all agree there are no cool christians..............ok Bob Marley is rasta and they are kinda christian but no there are definately noe cool anglicans, catholics, orthodox, baptists, mormons etc....

I think black people definately used to be the coolest with all the blues musicans in America but now black music has gone downhill a bit and music is really what makes someone cool.
