WTF's with clothing??!? I hate it that people critisize in the fu**ing punk community! Punk is all about individualism since when did you need a mohawk or some fancy shoes to become rebellious. And the steriotype that people who listen to punk rock are stupid. We're the most politically sane group on this planet. Fighting between ourselves is stupid especially since talking bad about others just makes yourself feel bigger as a person. Your music sucks I hate that how can you listen to that I hate critics! If its an opinion it's one thing, but If you speak for the entire (unique) community that contradicts everything independance is. Stupid people that don't even think spit out stuff at random to make themselves look cool in front of their fake friends who only want to climb the social ladder and would leave them in a heartbeat if they were offered a friend with more to offer.
Ooooooooooookay sorry about that. Nothing personally troubling in my life, but the way some people deal with their problems angers me... needing constant sympathy or an outlet for their (torment) when they have a roof above their heads and three meals a day. Okay back from my little trip. I'm musically illiterate for the most part. I listen to other peoples music and have a good idea of what I like, but am interested in some of these other bands. To put it simply I'm cheap and can't afford to buy music for the hell of it then find out if I like it. I know I like Dead Kennedy's and have all their music. Exausting that choice I bought some Misfits and Ramones soon after and like both of them. I do not like Green day, anything on mtv simply because its corperate and stupid that business big wigs play anything before an ignorant audiance and get 12 year old girls to buy punk rock along with their fifty cent from their allowance. Anyways I don't like Casualties because of their intensive "I'm a hard ass" attitude. Bands that sound outward hatered piss me off to, extensive yelling and critisism of the person listening to their music doesn't make me happy either. (ie: Any band that would spit on their audiance and expect not to get an ass kicking after the show) If anyone could put a list together of stuff I should check out according to what I like so far that would be awesome. I could probably put one together from all the stuff on the thread so far, but I'm not that dedicated... I like the older music. Everything new is kind of lame, but thats just my standpoint again. I realize music branches off from other bands so list the main bands and I'll consider stuff. Thats about it I guess... yep... think i covered it. Play nice

Sweden had a lot of Punk Rock bands back in 1977, though they weren' very well-known. They all sprung up because of the Sex Pistols and their "Summer of Hate".
Yep we have alot of good bands from then and later on like Ebba Grön Rymdimpiriet Impiriet (sort of the same band but during diffrent timeperiod. Coca Carola Astra Kask Charta 77 DLK are other good bands but there useally sings in swedish even if imperiet had a failde attempt to launch in english. But Millencollin is singing in english and are really good, but maybee not all old school punker like them.
