Lapse: Aussie slang(pretty good)

BTW, sounds like a good idea SS but with all due respect, wouldnt it be easier for the people needing a translator to go to an online translator. It would be alot quicker and probably easier for all involved

I would have thought the same but in certain instances, no.. they can be quite wrong. I have heard individuals in my office, thinking they are speaking Spanish they learned from translators, put together ridiculous phrases no one would dream of using. "Do you fancy my leather dumpster?" - huh? Um, okay, you've been using the translator again haven't you?

Spanish.. I am actually Cuban-American, born and raised in Miami. I can pretty much read, speak and write it although never formally trained. I was speaking Spanish when I was enrolled in kindergarten and didn't know a word of English. Now imagine how that must have been like your first day of grammar school? If anyone ever needs any help, I am more than happy to assist.

I would also offer to proof read if anyone needs a hand. I may not always present myself as an English major but I am anal retentive when it comes to reading a paragraph written by someone else and it is riddled with incorrect spellings and the English language is beyond recognizable.
