Oh Blastit, one question, when you were describing the room on the ship, you have a list of whats in them and at one point you write "a mirror, a sink, a strange, an all-species toilet". I'm personally wondering what a 'strange' is, just as a point of interest. :p

I doubt there'll be videos at my bachelor's party, but even if there were, I don't think there'll be anything naughty happening either, so it wouldn't be worth watching. Ni-felese tend to think things like closed doors and locks are the height of silliness. If it's good enough to try to hide then it has to be interesting and fun, and a Ni-felese is very hard to keep from something that they'll view as fun, interesting or new.

Lyol is aware of this. He does, after all, recruit across star systems for the Collegium. I only use humanoid in the sense that, without yellow sunlight and Kryptonite, it is physically impossible to differentiate Kryptonians, Daxamites, and Humans without medical examination. He would think in similar concepts.

He knows about as much as the others (Jack was the only that hacked everybody else's files), he just got a list of pictures with matching names and pronunciation guides, though he barely glanced at that. As far as he thinks, Alex is a humanoid, as are the two doctorates. In that case, it might take him a while to become so aware, since Indoans/matrai don't shake hands. The gesture is unfamiliar to them as a whole, and they have no equivalent gesture. And while Alex does know what it means, she still chooses not to.

I am a moron. Of COURSE Lyol will suspect some form of species differentiation. With terra-forming the way it has progressed, Lyol will know that the gas mask is for some reason, meaning that Alex is more than just one standard deviation away from standard O2 viability, due to some reason. It's just a matter of him figuring out, though it won't matter that much.

And I will probably post some point this week. Was hoping for yesterday but had to figure out my classes for next year and that took longer than expected. May post today depending on how far I get on my homework and where my Geomorphology class takes me/keeps me. Some sort of field trip to a state park or, if weather takes a turn for the worse, a trip to the marsh. Either's cool.

An RP is a Role-playing game. A character driven story with many authors. As for FT, that is Future Tech, and is essentially classified as anything with interstellar travel. Think Star Wars or Star Trek technology levels. Finally, do us all a favor and read the "Role Playing Tips and Suggestions." I havent got much to add to whats happening in the story atm, which is handy, since i'm using most of my brain power attempting to crack a chemistry assignment i have for friday. Its a slow and arduous process since i'm pretty poor at chemistry in all fairness, plus its also asking about wavelengths, which is physics, and i failed physics. ¬.¬ >.<

So if anyone can explain Planck's equation and the Ideal Gas Equation i would be much obliged. :p

Remind me to avoid randomly frying hard drives in the future, used some software my brother had to recover what i could of my second hard drive and now i have over 336000 MP3 files, 333000 of which are fragments less than a minute long. the other 3-4k works... mostly. But its recovered several hundred songs i deleted years ago and ignored a fair chunk of more recent stuff, its not done a bad job considering it only managed to get half the drive.

Still trawling through upto 4k of songs with the title Recovered_MP3_(1-336xyz) trying to figure out what song it is takes much time.

Nut my Blastitracker works, only I can't find the damn thing since I haven't finished unpacking yet (recent move to a new apartment, not much stuff so it went rather quickly). Oh, and your gnomes didn't chew up my harpooning stuff. You may notice, if you bother to count, that there are about fifty less than there were when they reached me. Gnome blood apparently clogs harpoon launchers. And as a result, I was unable to rescue the local beaches from threatening whales. I hope you're happy.

That's not the moral at all. Here's what you all should keep in mind:

Each year, over one thousand people are exposed to massive trauma while visiting the beach. This type of trauma occurs mostly on the sand itself, though when the source moves into the water, the damage decreases. I am talking, of course, about a monster of the beach far worse than any shark: the bethonged beach whale. These loathsome creatures have an irritable disposition, consume an unfair portion of resources, and drive away the native, attractive members of the beach going community that make the beach such a popular destination.

But we can change all of that. With their damaging presence acknowledged, the bethonged beach whale is now under consideration for having its protective status removed. But we must go further. We must prevent the eyes of young children from ever being scarred, an experience that can be blamed only on poor information available to parents and the pest-like nature of the bethonged beach whale. Write or call your Congressional Representative and Senators. Explain that the bethonged beach whale is an unnatural invader whose presence is due solely to human interference in the natural course of the environment. We have the ability to fight this problem. Which is why we must ask that the United States Coast Guard be retasked to apportion the funds, man-hours, and priorities needed to combat this problem. Because proper training is available, we must ask that the most effective weapon with the least collateral damage, the whaling harpoon, be used in this drive, that the bethonged beach whale be tracked and hunted until it threatens the beaches no more. Though, I must say, my Voodoo's gotten better and I think I'm owed a miracle or two. If you want, we can try the reanimation process to bring back them back as zombie threads. Just let me know, and I'll start gathering the supplies.

Well, Blastit is officially dead (his nation is gone), so that kinda puts an end to this one (unless, as Reg suggested previously, someone else takes over the GMing), and Rhinara seems to have disappeared too, which puts the other RP in difficulties too. :(
