Sorry for my absence but my roommate died very unexpectantly last sunday morning. She died of a heart attack, I tried to save her life with CPR and mouth to mouth until the squad got here but she never recovered. Her funeral is today at 11 am eastern standard time. I will post again sometime this week.

My condolences for your loss, Kor. I hope you find happiness in her memory.

Thanks Folks, I appreciate your support. She was a sweet, loving & caring individual who gave of herself by working in the seemingly thankless mental health field for low wages. But she enjoyed the work she was doing and I realized at the funeral that she had touched many lives in a positive way. Numerous people stood up at the end of the service and told of how she had helped them when few others would even listen. I feel honored to have been counted as a friend of hers.

I decided to wait on that. to give others a chance to develope their characters. mine did about a couple of months worth of developing while others kinda froze after they discovered their "weirdness."

Figure give everyone a chance to explore their characters and get them to about the same point as mine before we take on our first baddie. ;)

Name: Roger Clark (AKA Beast)
Age: 29
Physical Description: Tall, Italian and physically an Olympian
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown

Powers: Roger is essentially a wolf hybrid. He has huge teeth, increased senses, agility, and strength. He also has claws, a powerful sense of smell, and a split-second reaction time, although he can return to his regular human form for temporary periods.

Weakness: He can only stay in his human form for around an hour at a time, after which he will automatically start regressing to his natural form. He also had a moment of weakness and his animal instincts pushed him to kill his best friend, and his guilt haunts him about it.

Biography: Roger, born in the countryside in Tuscany, was the second of four children. Roger’s family immigrated to the US when he was just two, and his family settled into the suburbs of Detroit. His father died young in a car accident—which is actually just what his mother told him, his father was really killed by the mob—so his mother had to get a job to support the family and as a result Roger became very self-reliant. He was also a strong and patriotic child, and after graduating from high school and obtaining US citizenship, he volunteered for the US military. His commanding officer noticed his firm dedication quickly, and eventually Roger made it into the US navy SEALs. After leaving when he was 28, he moved to northern Montana and worked on a farm until the radiation night. Waking up the morning after, he discovered that during the night he had morphed into a wolf-hybrid. However, the day he discovered his powers his best friend died in what to Roger is a hazy blur. He is now fleeing civilization towards Alaska, where he is hoping to hone his new ability and put it to good use. Beast, as Roger now calls himself, is a mysterious character. He has his own secret personal goal, but few would doubt that he has good intentions.

Alignment:Hero. Good intent but questionable methods of execution.

Style: True to his SEAL training, Beast favors a critical first-strike attack, and will take full advantage of his surroundings to hit first. He also prefers to hunt his opponents and wait for the perfect time to strike, stalking them for sometimes hours on end. After the first strike he is also extremely aggressive, and will pursue his foe to the end.

Equipment: Nothing

Yes, but he can still speak and such perfectly well. I wanted a little change on the standard Changing-form-brawler, and it works well with what I have planned in the future. He was mutated on Radiation Night, and can only turn back into his human form for short periods of time (Roughly 1 hour a day)

Well, I said that I wasn't good with names. It takes me hours to figure out what name to use on online games.

Yes, and no. Perhaps mini-villain, but not arch-nemesis (i.e. the Vulture to Spiderman rather than Doctor Octopus). Anyway, we need more villains to fill the ranks of the evil guys.

My guy is evil - or at least will become evil. Not sure how; whether it will just be his nature or some important event - probably a mix of the two.

The backstory: As is ever the case, Human DNA has been altering. However, due to a recent period of Solar activity, certain genetic sequences have manifested traits never before believed to exist in this world. At first, it appears to simply be people becoming more of what they are, but it soon becomes apparent that affected individuals have changed in more ways than one. Some can fly, others see things far away or through brick walls. Some can alter their shapes or control water. Amid all this, public opinion becomes varied and divided. Some want these people rounded up. Others want them registered. Some feel that the willing should be trained by the government for protection against other threats. In all, a term once thought to apply only to the comic books now applies in a very real sense: Superheroes, and in turn, Supervillains.

I have a Question Katg, the bad guy, Hades (if we are still using him) has the ability to absorb powers. Does that mean mimic, copy or steal--see below

Mimic: Has to actually have absorbed powers relatively recently to work (i.e. stolen abilities fade with time, no hoarding)
Copy: Has to absorb powers once, but retains them forever unless something unusual or special happens that is plot-based.
Steal: Like Copy, but the victim can no longer use the powers (literally, stole the powers)

My region ( The Nelchizedeke Cluster ) is named after a Universe that I made up along time ago. In this universe there is a Planet called HERO .... we could use that as a location in the new thread. What do you think?

DMG one picture is worth a thousand words, they help you define the ideal you are trying describe. These pics show the lay of the land and of the seas.
Lets say you wish to be on the coast but backed by mountains, looking at these pics it should be easier to decide where that location is on this world.

Yes because if you are there was no need for subterfuge. The only reason I agreed so quickly is because I have a world thread to run already. That could change in a matter of seconds if I think your trying to pull something.

I'm thinking of limiting down the powers a little. There will be no Omino. None of the three angels will return except Sacer if Lup decides to come back. I don't know what will happen between Diaphanous and Blastit's characters. I have a general idea. It is going to be really good. No lie.
