Simple. Civilized, non-genocidal countries don't make people disappear. Disposing of the German bodies is easier for the vampires, since they can just have their SS posse take care of it. But Geneva affords Americans some protection, and if the vamps ever plan to move their operations to the New World, then they must ensure that the Americans know nothing.

I definatly agree with Osteia US Marines. If this rp was in 1944 after D-Day and this was a strong screening force for a full attack..I wouldn't have problem with it. But the fact the rp takes place in 1942 kills it.

Your posts have been very incorrect of the times as there was no invasion of Europe by the Allies till D-Day 1944. But, I have put up with it for the time. But this one completely crosses all lines. Your post needs to be deleted.

Lt. wouldn't command a battalion...a platoon, company at most. And 400 men might give you a nice foothold, but only for a short time after the Germans wheel in their armor, artillery, and fresh infantry divisions.

All that stuff you have? No way you could smuggle it into France at this time. It just impossible and even considering to edit your post to have the troops become commandos to steal German gear...that wouldn't work as even if they got some working they would be destoryed.

Also. 10 German tank destoryers vs 10 Shermans...money would be on the Germans as 1 or 2 shots could easily knock out a Sherman from a German 75mm due to the Sherman's thin armor. Sherman would take a lot more to take out the Jadgpanzers because of the German's thicker and slopped armor *at least twice as thick as the Sherman*. The US bazooka would also take a few times to knock out the German vehicles.

And the Germans would also have some 88mm guns, they would knock out a Sherman with one shell.

Also, chances are the US is outnumbered because the Germans would have quiet a few more men to guard the place. If you took them by surprise they would quickly recover and hold their ground and they would instantly radio for help. You would have several full strength Pazner divisions right on top of you within a few hours with air support that would eradicate your force by day's end.

So, do delete the post, read some history..and post something else.

I've read plenty history. I didn't specifically say what kind of sherman, theres many variants for the tommy cookers, I am well aware of how much armor the germans have and what kind of guns, and how they easily break down due to the extreme weight bought on the gears. I already know much of WWII and the Vietnam war. If only this was set later in the near end of the war then maybe i could try out the M26 pershing, and maybe the Hellcat, cant use the M10 Wolverine, too thin of a armor, big problem for the americans armors too thin, they look for the speed and infantry support kinds of tanks. There shoul've been a twist with this story so we could use the planned but never used Graf Zeppelin, or US T-28. have I proven my point of history?

The RP may take place in Europe during WW2, but it is primarily about Vampires. We are not getting into full on wars yet. And even if we are, that is a long way away. There is plenty of things for your char to do without invading Reims.

There is plenty you can do as someone said before, just nothing major like an invasion...you can sneak around gathering intell but you also must remember America isn't even really in the war yet...this is Spring of 1942.

They should be suspicious of one or both of them, wondering if one or the other, or both tipped off the Nazi forces.

To make it a bit more real, it would be a suggestion that the supply route/base will be surveyed from an axis recon unit and attacked several days from now. Remember its only a suggestion. Or vampires attacking it, its up to you to decide.
