We've talked about it, and it's coming. To those who were in No Prayer for the dying, you have a spot. If you want to make a new character, go ahead, but you can keep your old ones if you wish. Those who weren't in No Prayer, this is closed now, but there may be openings later. Also, only three vampires, you know who you are. If you want to make a villian, ask me first, then if I say it's cool, you can. I don't want to many villians and not enough good guys.

The RP takes place in 1942. Hopefully, everyone knows what was occuring in the world at this time. WWII. The great war was actually set up by vampires. No, hunters from around the world have somehow found their way to a bar in France, which is occupied by Nazi Germany. Will they be able to defeat the evil vampires and save the world from eternal war and chaos? Only time will tell.

Okay, I've decided to bring back a pyromancer, but he won't be Malthazius. Just his successor.

Name: Angus Carl Klasniewksi
Occupation: Polish Freedom Fighter/The Malthazian.
Gender: Male
Race: Human Pyromancer
Age: 26
Description: 6 foot even, of an athletic build, fit without being twiglike or titanic. Eyes are red, his hair is light brown.
Languages: Multiple. Gifted with tongues.
Abilities: Powerful Pyromancer, Skilled swordsman, increased hardiness, strength and speed, gift of tongues. Profficent with firearms.
Weapons: Pistol that shoots Holy Water forged Silver bullets. The Sword of Saint Micheal the Archangel.
Weaknesses: Obviously can't maintain flame under water, or in other areas lacking in Oxygen. Tendency to burn through regular clothes, obstructing his ability to stay low. This requires careful use of powers on his part.

Bio: Born to a family of shippers, Angus grew up in the Polish corridor just south of Danzig, where his father owned a warehouse and a pier. Having been born in Dumfries during the Great War, he moved to the newly created Poland at the age of three. His parents were of Celto-Viking descent, and he learned the languages of his ancestry as a young boy. At the age of eight, Angus discovered his latent fire starting powers, and after being taken to the local parish, an elder pyromancer showed up at his door one morning. Explaining to both his parents and the young boy, the firebender told them of an order of those like Angus, freedom fighters and protectors, of which Angus could join. Putting their faith in him, Angus traveled to Rome and the Vatican, where he learned that the real purpose of the Order of Malthazius was to hunt down and eliminate the evils that preyed upon humanity.

Angus grew in knowledge and power, and on his 17th birthday he claimed the title of the Malthazian. Since then he has been traveling and hunting, and now finds himself in occupied France as the greatest war of his generation sets in.

Notes on the Malthazian and the Order:
The Order of Pyromancy was founded by the pyromancer Malthazius, and subsequent members won a secret petition for the warrior's canonization. The order's joint patrons are St. Micheal and St. Malthazius, which derives the two positions that lead it. Pragmatically and officially, the Order is led by the Prelate of St. Micheal, a position for which one must be nominated by the preceding prelate and then approved without a black-ball. The Malthazian, on the other hand, is the Order's champion, and the bearer of the Sword of St. Micheal. This position is chosen by combat only, and any journeyman or higher may challenge for the position. Heirarchilly, the prelate sits atop the Order, and the Malthazian below him (or her, in the case of Prelate Jane Fenshyre). However, while other members of the Order must show deference to the prelate, the Malthazian is not under the same obligation, and is the one man (no woman has yet to take the Sword) that the prelate can not force into subordination, nor discipline in any way. Additionally, if the prelate dies without a nomination for his or her successor, then the Malthazian nominates a candidate to be the new prelate. Finally, it should be noted that the skills of the Malthazian accrue to the next, hence, Angus's predecessor, Nicholai Vicenti, gifted with mastery of tongues, passed his abilities on to Angus.

Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, 5'11. Wheres a coat with many pockets to hold his many vampire killing weapons.

Skills: Master at all forms of combat, ranged or close. Cunning and charming.
Weapons: Mauser Karabiner 1898 Kurz Rifle, Valmanway, a long sword that allows it's wielder to swing it fast than humanily possible for a few moments, lots of vampie killing tools (crosses, holy water, etc.)
Weakness: Has been wounded many times, so his wounds still hurt occasionally, with painful side ffects.
Bio: A prideful German native, Erik has hunted and slayed many creatures over his lifetime. He found out about the vampires control over Hitler, and immeaditly left the army set out to France to find answers. He has yet to find the woman of his dreams, but is always on the look out.

It's the Flaming Sword that St. Micheal the Archangel used to:

a) Lead the forces of good during the wars in Heaven and cast Lucifer into Hell, and

b) guard the gates of paradise (Heaven, Eden) until the coming of Jesus (Christian beliefs here).

In the hands of a pyromancer, (St. Micheal was the first), his Sword can ingite and serves as a channel to the divine flame (but only on really special occasions). In the hands of a non-pyro, it is only a Holy blade, and it always has the usual ban against being touched, held, or possessed by creatures of evil.

Had I been given the oppurtunity in No Prayer, the Sword would have been used by Malthazius to enclose he and Krastatros in an arena of Holy Flame, with a contest to the death ensuing. To simplify its mechanisms, think of it as a power-upper for holy pyromancers.

Weakness: Can be killed in normal manners, except it takes a great deal more damage to do so
Background: A demon born on, and thus bound to, earth he shares few traits with the traditional demon. Has travelled most of the world in his life and has spent many years in the orient studying various religions and martial arts before returning to Europe for a period to study there. After the American Revolution, he travelled to North America and spent a century in the northern continent before travelling south to study Aztec, Inca and Mayan ruins.

Returning to Europe in time to catch the end of the Crimean War, he weathered the first world war in England, and was travelling in France when the second war broke out. Due to the general lock-down imposed, that's where he has remained. Due to a trick he learnt during his travels, only those outside of a hundred meters, or one who had trained extensively enought to surpass regular human limits(someone who would rate a 'Grandmaster' rank regardless of the skill(s) trained), would be able to see him as not a human.

Bio: Major Karl Weiss was interested in the paranormal sence he was just a young boy growing up in a small town in Austria, always ghost hunting and living under the suspision mortals were being watched, haunted, stalked by those who had previously passed on. After he attended university and graduated with a masters degree in psychology a certian program was brought fourth and people with knowlage of the field were asked to report to the SS castle of Wevelsburg, Himmlers pride and joy of the rising third reich. There he took his officers courses and passed them with flying colours, he was eventully asked to take a command in the Paranormal division that was being put togeather in secret. Many discoverys had been made over the short time the division had been operational, many were the sort that could make one dissapear if ever talked about to ANYONE.

Occupation: Rogue Vampire Hunter
Skills: Skilled with the sword his father gave him. Knows a great deal about vampires and knows nearly every weakness they have, as well as their appearances.
Weapons: Walther P38, 1 dozen steaks, 1 old broadsword (rumored to be from the Crusades)
Weakness: He is a mere mortal without any powers. Can also be a bit of an alcoholic. Most of all he does not trust other people, no matter who they are. He does not let others get to know him and can be a bit of a challenge to even get him to say anything about himself.

Bio: His father was a rabbi from Jerusalem who wanted to spread the word of God to the communities of Germany. He fell in love with a German woman and bore a son as well as a daughter. He was raised to be a rabbi like his father, but at the age of 14 was orphaned when a vampire stormed into his home and killed his family. Even at his young age, he was able to avenge his family with the sword his father gave him butwas now an orphan who lived on the streets with the many other Germans. But now with the new Nazi regime in power, he has hidden everything about his faith as much as possible (though he still has a Star of David he carries with him). He now wanders all of Germany and hunts vampires and kills them, even if they are good or evil. In his career, he has slain 450 vampires, none of which he met returned to their coven to tell of his fierce abilities.

Bio:

Katrina is the daughter of a poor farmer and was the girl every man in her village had their eye on. Though one night while tending to the cows, Katrina was abducted by a vampire and was sired during her three days captivity. The vampire abandoned her after doing this leaving her to wander home in a daze. When she got home, her father tried to kill her after seeing his daughter had an aversion to the cross. Katrina fled and has been on the run. She is terrified, doesn’t know exactly what she has become. The only thing she does know is that she hungers for blood, sunlight, silver, and holy objects hurt her.

She aimlessly wandered around, looking for someone like her or someone who knows about what she is for help. She was found by Count Vladimir Thanatos and taken in. Katrina quickly grew attracted to the older vampire and her darker side began to emerge with his teachings. The pair fell in love and after a night of passion she convinced him to help her slaughter her villiage. After this the pair was married.

Katrina is in deep love and had great loyalty to Vladimir. She also loves to kill and loves the art of seducing her prey before killing them or just outright tear into them like a wild animal. She has no qualms about feasting on children and teenagers and takes glee in killing them first before disposing of their parents.

Even with this dark and evil side, she also has a regal charm and beauty to her. She is still ever loyal to her husband Vladimir and has never looked back since he found her cold and alone in the woods so many centuries ago.

Hopefully these Vampire charactors have use for a Nazi they can use to do their biddings,

Background- Not much is known about Vladimir, but he is older than he looks. A feared Vampire in the world by those who know him, yet a relatively kind man to others (when needed). Cool, calm, and patient. He is also quite rich, living in a large mansion, lots of money, and even some servants.

One night, as he was relieving his hunger, he had searched a nearby woods to find his next target, only to find a scared, confused, and helpless girl, newly turned.

He decided, for the good of his Coven, he would take her in and teach her the ropes. But something he did not anticpate happened. He fell in love with this girl, who called herself Katrina.

He taught the girl many tricks of the trade, at surprising rates. Katrina seemed to be quite a fast learner, much to the joy of the Vladimir.

After completing one of his promises to his young student, involving slaughtering an entire village, he married the young girl.

Soon enough, he had taught her almost everything he knew.

Osteia, the one thing I could think of for an SS officer to do for the vampires is simply to cleanse the town of crosses and such. Thus allowing the vampires free reign of the town and all he would have to do is dipose of the dead victims. Also make sure anyone coming in has no crosses and such on.

Maybe even have a few humans chained up on some trees so that hopefully he could watch the vampires feed and then approach them to talk.

Course I make no guarntee of his safety :)

Equipment: He has a rifle, an army knife and army rations. His rifle can be taken apart quite easily into small seemingly harmless pieces.
Strengths: A survivalist, he is resourceful and observant. He is experienced with marksmenship, hard to faze or frighten.
Weakness: He is old, and he knows it. His reflexes aren't as sharp as when he was younger. He has difficulty with trust. For convenience and in case of body searches, he has almost no ammo for his rifle.
Background: He knows what he is, and it makes him doubt. He knows others hate him, and therefore he trusts no one. He values truth above all virtues, but hypocritically shy from its light. Others know him as 'Tom'.

I'd prefer that you didn't. Also, could you not type in all caps? It makes it easier to read. Could you also edit your character, giving a bit more detail? I don't want to seem overbearing but it makes it easier for me.

US Marine, could you make your character an alchemist as well? That way he could stay a marine, and his ability for making bullets out of any metal would make more sense, and it would fit with the theme.

Memnoch was born in Cairo. He was adopted by the devil along with his boyfriend of the time and now husband Loki. They were both taught everything they knew from Satana (yes the devils a woman big whoop).Memnoch always taking more yo it and loving it. He is now Satana's most trusted advisor and will one day take her place as Ruler of the Underworld.He never goes anywhere without Loki and they are always in contact. Memnoch was sent to earth to help the vampires in their quest while Loki took care of Satana who is dying and wants to see this done before her demise.

When Breitenburg says your char is way too powerful...it means you should change it. Lowering his age, making him a minor demon getting rid of some of the stuff he has etc.

Some of his stuff imo definatly gives him an unfair advantage like the crown that makes people do what he wants, the instant-kill blade (which if you wish to duel another character negates that), Pandora's Box (we all know what happened the first time that thing was opened), Death Angel (seems like a small nuke to just level everything) and the cape of protection (which seems like it can be abused easily to prevet your character from getting any damage from anyone).

Course that is my opinion but I am sure it is shared by a few others.

And the weaknesses....attacking his pride and holy water...it definatly negates any reason to attack him with a blade or a firearm.

Alright in essence most, if not all of the weapons/gear appear to be massively over-powered.
Instant Kills are basically a major no-no, except in certain very special circumstances, and are usually under the DM's control. Same with Total Destruction types and Mind Control. If the rest is on a similar scale, then it tends to cause problems when outside of the DM's control.

Or do they have to be sliced off with a blade, like in "Dogma". If so, what are the parameters of the blade? Does it have to be holy? Made with Iron or Silver? These questions must be addressed, so that one plays within certain parameters.

You say you want an evil character. That's all great and good, however, the strength you portray him with, his utilities, etc, all make him nearly invincible. So, from a neutral standpoint, and with a reputation for RPing earned through many years here on Nationstates, allow me to give you an example template you should have. If you like what I've put down, then you're more than welcome to take it. Just keep in mind, this is the kind of thing people on NS typically look for:

Gender: Female
Race: Demon
Languages: multi-lingual
Appearance: in human form: blonde hair, blue eyes, slim figure; in demonic form: black skin, hair, eyes, slightly muscular in appearance

Tell us all of the weaknesses because if the one true weakness is just holy water...the first thing the vamps would do is kill the priest and without one to bless the water...no holy water. If your character can also be gunned down and bleed to death? If so put that down, if he can't be harmed in any other way than holy water and loyalty....then what is the point of the other side battling him?

We need a specific bio on your char. Is he Loki from Norse mythology? Then how the f*%! did he escape Odin's punishment? Or is he Loki from some other source. Not everybody is acquainted with everything tht you know, so a story is required.

Also, the aforementioned physical damage. What can harm him, what can't, and how? You mentioned wings, but in my TG I told you that you made no mention of this. Some claim that angels and demons fly through will power, like Superman, others state that their wings are illusions, and some believe that wings are their weak point. You need to specify. Otherwise, my char will say "Back to your ancient cave, Trickster imp!" in Ancient Norwegian, and your char will get destroyed in the game. We need specifics to understand your character. A physical descritption is also needed.

There is one rule that I go by in NationStates RPs.

Okay...now we are getting somewhere. That is the kinda thing people want in a character sheet. Now...can you combine that with your character sheet and add every other bit of information so we can have it one spot?

Now, you can easily cut and paste. Then add anything other bit of information that pertains to him even in the smallest detail. That way we don't have to go rooting for everything and it'll be easier for Breit to see everything.

Btw, since he is demon I think he is on the side of the vampires and this is more for the hunters...if Loki is shot enough without hitting the wings...will he become weak, flightless cause of all the lead...?

to answer your question the lead would dissolve in his body so no but if he was hit with silver then yes but after his wings are gone all of his powers abilities and magic will be too so he'll be very vulnerable so if yall or me wouldnt want him dead hed have to be protected cuz if he dies yall will have a bigger problem after its all over he'll return to Hell anyway.

Refering to the OOC post with the large quote, it is rather painful to see it there...especialy so soon at that, if it had been important/vital to the story line it wouldn't have been THAT bad.

I would be second to suggest that he deletes it as soon as possible, the OOC thread usually isn't that far away and really is not that difficult to track down for comments such as those.

There is no mention of ANY psionic abilities in your character's template, that includes Telepathy. No Telepathy = No Mind Reading

Weiss can offer day time protection for the Vampires while they sleep, some one like Roth could be put in charge of guard detail. They would not be allowed on the grounds just secure the perimiter around the castle/the roads....

'Tis KATG. The nurses finally decided to let me have my laptop. In case any of you are wondering, I was hospitalized, and those idiot doctors thought it was some form of leukemia. Luckily for me, its not, rather a sudden hormone imbalance (we're still trying to track down the cause) but that's being treated (typing with an IV line sucks, if you care to know). I'll be laid up for about another week, but I was hoping somebody could give me a synopsis of what has happened.
