Worfan may end up with a fight on his hands after all. I guess Sebastian and Worfan will probably be fighting/trying to kill each other through the whole RP. This is going to be interesting and very tense situation. Worfan may however challenge Sebastian's code of conduct by retorting, "Does your honor allow you to harm old men. That do not even carry a sword?"

It may be even more interesting since Anastrianna is about to come on the seen.

Hey, I was thinking about how to bring Vira into the story, but I don't want it to be as mundane as, "She felt the presence of many powerful beings in a stable house inside Orlando... she went to investigate." Any ideas on a way to make it not so boring? Or should I wait until Worfan is no longer near the rest and then think of a way.

Great. One angry she-bitch, her ex-lover, and a wedding. Is there no justice in the universe? Is Powell's dad intent on making his life miserable? Is he ever going to be able to get some free beer at a social gathering? Without having to change water into wine, or piss into beer, or sweat into whiskey?

I am 99.9% certain all the demons are dead.
Post 55 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11605200&postcount=55) lists 4 remaining demons. Two scorpions, a winged demon and the mage demon. Sebastion/Tian slew scorpions, Black Fang/Powell dealt with mage and Orome butchered the winged.

Theao and DMG are correct- all the demons are dead

and if you wish to cause mischief among the weddeing guests please feel free, but I will issue a word of warning - mes with too many high muckeyt mucks and they will come after you- especially the Illu'varr.

and now what got tossed into the stables in only minimally representaive of what they can do- this was a roll of the dice pot luck assemblage of thrid rate nasties. Tossed in more to get every one together and have a little fun than to do serious damage to the party

Though I am seriously tempted to have the party brought lock stock and wandering pseudo god to the Illu'varr court - because as poor a lots as those demons were no one could have hired the Illu'varr assassins without the emperor's explicit permission. And Orome knows that and a pissed Orome is likely to take the battle to the foot of the Blood Throne itself.

While she doesn't have much of the Illu'varr inate/ inborn majicks, and she is no mage, she does have quite a number of items gifted to her by her ex-...well what word to use, as it is rather dificult to describe. - she was a concubine consort to Rakkan, the Heir Primus to the Blood Throne. She was released from that once she bore him a heir. - It's a long story...

Well, we did rather butcher the bad guys, though with no exceptional gore as far as I'm concerned. Maybe some one reading got upset over the notion of a female changing in front of men. I sent Kat a TG but she has not replied to me yet.

Yes this is in reply to DMC's querry in the IC thread
DMG
07-09-2006, 01:11
Yeah, I don't think we actually did anything or anyone got upset... probably just the Mods reminding us to keep away from describing sexual situations.
King Arthur the Great
07-09-2006, 02:04
Eh, that can all be avoided by simply reffering to a "turn about the sheets" and marking the passage of time based on your characters stamina.

As far as gore goes, hey, they get pretty gory in PG-13 movies, and I don't think the description of a woman changing in front of men, or a man changin in front of women, merits an R rating. In movies they imply it with back angle shots and opaque barriers, so as long as it is only stated and not described, I can't see the mods having a problem with it.
DMG
07-09-2006, 02:06
Aye, that is why I think it was a warning to not go further rather than a chastising for breaking the rules. If we actually break the rules I am sure that the Mods will tell us and punish us accordingly.

Aye but if it was magically induced, then Powell sees them as the same. It's a complicated procedure for him to to actually see the differences. He can detect different types of magic, but magics affecting an individual have a tendency to meld and become less disjoint.

Eh, I just caught that. Your write up had confused me.

You're edit is a bit off. The curse has no effect/is not part of 'Black/White'. The inability for 'Black/White' to remember the other's actions beyond a vauge dreamlike memory is a different issue than the memory part of the curse.

To put it crudely, the curse is physical, 'Black/White' is mental. They don't overlap.

Sorry for saying this KAG, but your character seems a little omniscient and omnipotent.
King Arthur the Great
11-09-2006, 02:30
Omniscient? Omniscient? Uhh, former deity. And right now, he's relatively weak. A viewing doesn't take much, especially with a willing subject. But he will need food (coming) and either rest, or an immersion at a fountain blessed by the priests of Gryfywrd to bring himself up to full capacity.
DMG
11-09-2006, 02:44
That doesn't justify his supreme amount of knowledge and power. Maybe the idea makes sense, but not for an RP.

All I'm saying is that a character that is super powerful and basically all knowing is as close to a GM as you can get... even if he was a god.

IMO, it kind of ruins the story/plot/RP when one character knows everything or can find out anything in an instant...

KAtG, just a confirmation.......was your godling being condescending to Tian or to the unruly noble with the wayward blade? Just wondering, since you didn't make it too clear.

And Shal, old girl, don't you think you should explain to everyone why the ladies are attacking Tian, of all people? And just as a suggestion, maybe in the future we can include the names of our characters in the 'title' section of our posts? Now that nearly all of us are utilizing a first-person narrative for our characters (a way of RPing I haven't experienced before now), it's a little bit harder to keep track of just which character's thoughts are present in whose posts.

P.S. For Tian, I will put "The Black Panther", his Tribe alias, as his identity in the title section.
DMG
24-09-2006, 01:11
I've never RPed in the first person either, but is that really necessary?

Off the top of my head:

Theao = Hatsuri
Tanara = Orome/Kaminari
TGU = Tian "The Black Panther"
KAG = Powell
Hansia (who is basically gone) = Worfan
DMG = Sebastian
The Gothic Underworld

Actually, You should have held your horses. I see a table or two of nobles, so unless you used a table that wasn't the closest one to Powell, then you're taking away too much of the fun! Share the wealth man.

Not to mention that's a little uber-wank to take all the opponents with a shove of a rather large table...

I see. So now it's my fault, huh? o_0

EDIT: And DMG, I was just, ahem, suggesting. :p

EDIT 2: Now that I've thought about it........KAtG, the entire group of lout nobles were actually all going after Tian, and Tian alone. Therefore, that's reason enough for me to have Tian deal with the whole lot of them; what in the world would they want to go after Powell instead of Tian for? And on another note, if you think the table trick is a little uber-wank, well first off these louts aren't the demons in the stables, secondly they needed to be cleared fast, and thirdly the table trick is merely a variation of a typical tactic often seen in Chinese martial-arts movies, used against grunts. I don't think that's uber-wank at all, but that's just me.

Sorry that I wasn't around much last night...but yes the lower dark green square was Seb.

Too have seen the tableick in many a chineese martial arts movie- it's flashy yes, and looks over the top but that seems to be Tians trademark - and while in RL may not succeed as wildly as he had it, I've seen an accidentaly tipped up and over wooden picnick table- seats about eight and kinda heavy -send people scattering - mostly scrambling to get out of the way.

And I think our readers, if they managed to follow my last post, have figured out why many in the middle dias are acting the way they are.

And yes there are many a table of young nobles and their visiting friends - this is a very large central square - like many you see in Eurpoean cities - probably close to a 100 meters or so on a side. This is a city of about two million people, the City State of Orlando nominally controls an area that goes some hundred miles inland, runs south some fifty miles and runs north about an equal distance. This is an old city, one of the first cities built north of the EathFsast Masif, It is a port city and the goods that flow both north and south can be found here. They, as much as the Illu'var across the river, keep pirates in check and have a first rate navy- yes their land forces are excribale, and the road patrols notoriously corrupt, but that is because the focus is the trade on the river - look at the map.

@Gu: one or two would have gone for Powell simply because he insulted them. True, he wasn't noticed, but that was before he turned his robes into armor. And isulted the idiots again.

Not to mention the fact that there would be a few nobles close to Powell still standing, unless you sent the table into he, Nari, and Sebastian. They are going to be there. Just not for long.
