The first door Mark tried was a stuck, he forced it open after a few tries and found himself leaning precariously over nothing, the door lead nowhere, or more precisely, lead outside, some 20 feet above the ground. He yanked it closed and climbed the stairs, the next door lead to the ringing room where the bell ropes hung and a third door further up lead to the main roof, the stairs extended higher to the top of the tower where he presumed the captain was.
He opened the door and walked slowly onto the roof, making sure it would support him, old buildings may look sturdy but were deceptive. He was looking for anything that looked out of place, on the verge of giving up and turning back he saw something reflecting light near the hole that had been created by Kara's zombie friend, moving closer he picked it up and realised it was a set of keys. He pocketed them, they might come in use later. He descended the stairs, wondering if he might be able to catch up to the bus hunters, the keys might be useful.
"Any idea where the bus boys went?" He asked to anyone within earshot.
(OOC: finding the keys took a few minutes so i'm assuming you had left the church by the time he came down)

"No idea." Sloan replied, searching the room for sacks. Anyone seen a toolbox?"
Kara woke with an ear-splitting shriek about half an hour after she'd passed out. Looking round, she found herself on a pew, without any Infected nearby and relaxed slightly as she tried to figure out what was going on. Looking about, she wondered who was nearby and would tell her what had happened.

"Still, you took care of that creep right good. Launched him straight through the roof," he said indicating the hole in the ceiling. "I'm still trying to figure out exactly how you did that."

He had been pointed in the right direction and set off rapidly after the others who were searching for the bus, there was an off chance the key would work, if not, they could always try to hotwire something. He was keeping a sharp lookout and it didn't take him long to see where the others had gone, he hung back, not particlarly wanting to talk to these two for now, both seemed somewhat fanatical about close combat and might be a liability if he had to get away quickly, not to mention the group at the church would get suspicious if he let them die to a horde of zombies when he could have helped them.
God he hated teamwork.

"Yeah, we where holed up in a small cabin in Maine when it hit us. I was lucky, and didn't turn, she did. I kept her locked up for a week, hoping that it was something from the disease. It was, but I wouldn't see the signs, until she escaped and tried to attack me. I had to kill her there. Now, her body lies on the altar of a church not far from there..." Aidan dropped off as he thought about his wife laying there.
"At least I know we will be together after all this."
Aidan stopped and looked back, "hey, that's one of the guys from the church right?"
"Hey, come up and join us!" Aidan yelled.

So, it is a touring bus, eh? Well, we can use the solid front as a prow, through a wedge on the front would work best. And we could place a steel barrier around the top, which would allow our better riflemen to fire on our enemies without being inside. We will need lots of rebar though, with which to reinforce the bus.
"Let's start this thing up." Aiadn said, walking toward the bus.

Mark considered drawing his sawn off, but, he would like to avoid luring more zombies here if possible, at least until they had got the bus working and could make a safe getaway. He took a firmer grip on his 'staff' and moved his rapier round for easy access.
"Let's try to keep this quiet if we have to kill something, i'd rather not lure a horde of zombies while we arn't quite ready."
As he approached the bus he glanced at the windows, trying to see what was inside, he was getting quite close to the door, he held his 'staff' in in both hands across his front, ready to use it as either a shield or a weapon if a zombie jumped out.
OOC: about the rapier, i don't mean it as one of those pointy ones that you poke things with, there were rapiers that were actually useful and could slash aswell as poke. I meant mine as one of those.

Mark moved to the far side of the door to get a better angle to see inside the bus, unfortunately it seemed dark inside and his view was obstructed by chairs. He was cautious, his staff wouldn't serve much purpose in there, it was too unwieldy in the limited room, he left it leaning against the side of the bus and drew his rapier. He knelt down and picked up a small stone, which he threw into the bus to see if anything made a noise from inside, better safe that sorry...

It was so hungry. It had eaten the other passengers weeks ago, and was trapped inside the bus away from the nourishment it longed for so badly. Then, a small tap against the front of the bus grabbed its attention. It pulled itself up on its arms haveing eaten its own legs not long ago. It used the seats to move forward to the front of the bus, where it saw a succulent pile of fresh meat standing outside. With a horrible screech it threw itself against the front window of the bus.

That fateful day I had no idea what was going on, who and what to seek out. Until that inevitable moment where one of them cornered me, and all I knew for sure was the terrified creature my conscience had become, lashing out with all its strength to fight back and keep moving. I've come a long ways since then. Sitting in this fire station, food nearly gone, wooden barriers to keep them out ground thin by their nails, nothing but the cold alloys of the H2, my radio, and my arsenal as companions. They've broken through now, I'll have to use my last resort . ..
Keegan tore through the fire station, doing as much as he could to draw their attention and still conserve his ammunition. He fled up the stairs, the monsters in tail. Desperation falling in beads off his face, the telling moment, he backed into his former sleeping area, and slid down the pole into the garage. He piled into his trusty hummer "Time to get the fuck out of here!!" Keegan spoke to himself as he slammed the accelerator to the floor. "Seems as if I'm gonna have to find that church after all." His heart seemed to race almost as fast as the speedometer as he took off in the direction of the broadcast. At least soon he wouldn't be alone.

He stepped up into the bus and started choking. "Gah, this bus must have been sealed the whole time, the air reeks of death." The smell of death and rotten flesh lay heavy on the air, he fought his way through the smell and opened a few windows enough to get a breeze through the bus, but not enough to let anything get into the bus if it tried. Then he stopped to examine the bus itself, it was covered in dried blood and some scattered remains of what he assumed were other passengers.
"Guess zombies arn't too picky when they get hungry" he said as he kicked some of the remains into a pile. "We might want to clean this up a bit sooner or later, preferably when we get someone safe, a hose would help too."

When the jug was filled once more, he tossed the strap around his neck and let it hang off his thick double-belt, bouncing off of his right side. Auron yawned a little, but the stiff, upright collar on his thin red coat, acting as a mask, did not allow anyone to see it.
He glanced down at the empty pistol holster on his leg, and sighed. No use for this anymore. He unstrapped the holster and tossed it aside.

Auron simply glanced at Harrison from behind his sunglasses, nodding towards his oversized sword. "This is all I have."
Auron, from inside the church, heard the bus start up. He grabbed his sword and stood up. "Yuna." His daughter didn't respond at first, but then she accomplished her goal: she caught a broken piece of a pew on fire using her pyrokinesis.
"Yay! I'm starting to get it, Dad!" Auron smiled a tad, picking up the burning piece of small wood. "This'll burn the church down." He tossed it out into the lawn and watched it burn down. "Keep working at it." He led his daughter out to the door and turned around to the rest of them. "They're leaving."
Auron and Yuna walked down to the bus once more, and climbed aboard, walking to the back of the bus and taking a seat.

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I know I'm close now, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm not going to make it in time. The thought raged through Keegan's mind just several minutes from the church. He figured his state must have something to do with that rather unsavory run-in with the pack of zombies he had a few miles back. There were still a few chunks left on the areas of the windshield that the whipers couldn't reach. He shudderred, collected his thoughts, and cleared the next turn. The dusk colored the sky the fleshy color that still churned his stomach.
As the adrenaline faded he neared the church. He pulled up near the outside of the structure and grabbed what had become his best friend in hell-on-earth; his Winchester Super X-2. He had found it on a riot policeman's body and had taken a liking to it. He took a thorough look-around within the safety of his hummer before slowly stepping out of the driver's side. The alertness that he had become familiar with came over him as he walked up the stoop of the house of God and propped open the door slowly.

Auron shrugged. "It was an idea," he said in his deep, low and scratchy voice. He didn't know the area very well, so the Fort Bragg was all he could think of. He jumped back three seats to the back of the bus where he was sitting previously, and went into a deep concentration, beginning to meditate. Mark left his 12-guage and 'staff' on the bus. Keeping his rapier and sawn-off, he should be able to carry anything needed, or if they were attacked he should be able to hold his own until he could make it to safety. "Lets not waste any time eh?" He said, "Lead the way to this stash of yours."
"Wouldn't hurt." Stan commented
"Ya, it probably wouldn't, but now that I look around, I realize what the problem is." Kara commented, "This isn't the street I usually take is all."
The group arrived at the warehouse and Kara went up and opened the door. Reaching down, she grabbed a three club like thing and took out a lighter. Lighting the torches she passed them out while keeping one as she lead them to her stash. There were stacks of cans, bags of rice and lentiles, boxes of seeds, boxes of female hygine products, stacks of books and lots of miscellaneous supplies including first-aid kits, lighters, batteries and a wheelbarrow.

Looking around he said "We should prioritize, how many people are here? One or two guards, one person for food, one for water, one for petrol, one for miscellaneous stuff. You get the idea." After a moments more searching he added; "While i like books, i don't think they rank too high, unless someone wants to look for survival guides or bus maintenance perhaps?"

Surprised that the young woman had snatched the words out of his mouth, he found himself obeying anyway, grabbing an empty box he overloaded it with medical stuffs and managed to balance even more somewhat precariously on top. "Ok, we going to stick together or just head one at a time?"

Auron was leaning up against the bus as the rest of them left, his daughter nearby. As was usual, the group forgot about his existance, but it didn't bother him -- he didn't like being the center of attention. Because he stayed behind, he took it upon himself to guard the bus until all of them returned.
Yuna, however, was practicing her psychokinesis abilities on some logs. She struggled with the pyro and hydro-kinesis greatly. The Cyrokinesis wasn't much better. However, she was picking up on electrokinesis much quicker -- that's what her mother had.
Auron didn't notice much going on, but he kept alert just in case. Some walking came from the direction they left, but no shooting. They must be coming.
"That makes sense." Stan confessed with a bit of a rueful smile at not spotting the obvious.

Aidan led them back, looking for materials they could use. Semi's, cars, telephone poles, anything useful for the defense of the bus did not pass his notice as he mentally mapped them out.
When he arrived back to see the young woman trying to set the telephone poles he was angered.
"What are you doing? We need those to help form a perimeter around the bus. If we don't, then we could get stopped and overwhelmed. Are you trying to get us killed?"

In fact, you would never have noticed them had she not been practicing on them. Do not yell at my daughter." Aidan glared at the strange man, muttering, "We should just leave you behind."
He dropped his bag at the door of the cargo compartment, and walked over to the logs, gathering them up.
Auron nodded. "See? No need to yell." Yuna looked up at her father after overhearing Aiden and Auron speak, and Auron nodded, so Yuna went off to the car seats to practice.

He sighed, and moved over to the first car that Aidan had pointed out to him. He reached in and popped the hood. Using his screwdriver, he undid the hood and carried it over to the bus, where they would later weld it in place on the Bus's roof. He continued, until he had gathered up all the hoods they would need.
Looking at the Telephone poles, he pulled out his axe and hacked off the top of the pole, forming a nice, round cone. He did the same thing to the other side, and called over Aidan, "Aidan, help me with this thing will ya?"

Kara, Stan and Janine had headed back to get the last few supplies, including the fifty gallon drums. After returning, Kara asked, "What are you guys doing?"
The two of them had finished wioth the fourth log when they got back. "Working on the battering ram for the bus."
"Why not just do it cow-catcher style, by hammering two car doors or something together." Kara suggested as she began unloading the stuff into the supply pile.
"Hey you." Janine called to Auron, "Could you come help get these supplies sorted and organised."
Stan looked over at the kneeling Janine for a moment, shook his head and headed over to help the guys making the ram.
Auron turned around a bit, and finally realized that Janine was talking to him. He put his sword on his back and walked up to her.
"What do you need?"
"Just some help getting all of the stuff seperated, and then figured what to pack and where to pack it." She commented
Auron nodded, putting down his sword beside him, squatting in front of all the equipment.
"First, I would suggest organizing it into what the items are used for. Then on how important they really are." He began putting some of the stuff together, when his sunglasses fell off, exposing the deep running scar over his left eye, running from just above the eyebrow to the indent of the cheekbone. He quickly fumbled with the equipment he had in his hand and grabbed his glasses, putting them on as quickly as possible, yet smoothly so as to not draw too much attention.
"There, that's one spot. Food." Auron glanced over at the food. "This needs to get out of the open soon. We should work on that now and get it put away before we do anything else. We don't need unwanted attention."
Janine noticed the scar, but seeing his work to get it hidden, choose to use discretion and not mention it. "Alright the canned foods in the overhead bins while dry foods in the luggage compartments?" She asked
"We should probably have food, medical stuff and weapons in the overhead bins, with those taking priority then the remaining stuff gets stored underneath." She said, almost talking to herself as she planned.
"I wouldn't put too many cans in the overhead bins, if they fall, the food is ruined, and someone has a headache." Auron realized that she saw his scar, but as long as she didn't bring it up, he wasn't going to care. She'll probably talk it over with the rest. He shrugged to himself and moved on.
"Emergency medical supplies, some food, and some weapons can go in the overhead bins. The heavier weapons, if we have any or aquire some, the other medical supplies, and the heavier food can go underneath. Unless the other stuff will not fit, then we can stash them in the overhead bins."
And so he went to work.

Running to the one small door in the front of the massive warehouse, he tried it. It wouldn't open. Locked of course... damn. Pulling out his Springfield XD .45 ACP, he aimed it at the lock, and pulled the trigger. The massive round made a large and impressive hole where the lock had been, as well as a report that would have alerted most any other Creeps in the area. He was pretty sure they were all already bearing down on him anyway.
Trying the handle again, the door swung open inward, letting a sliver of light fall through the entry way. Looking around in the dim light afforded from the small fires burning in various locations on the street, he saw a light switch. Trying it, nothing happened. Damn, he thought, no power. Looking around, he suddenly had an intense pain right behind his forehead. Then, his eyes open wider as he was shown an generator that lay behind a door several yards away.
Blinking and shaking his head, he opened his eyes again to see the normal black wall with the light switch in front of him. Looking down the hall, he saw the door he had seen in his 'vision'. Going to it, he opened it and sure enough there was a generator. Before he could walk over to it though, a Creep jumped out from a corner and tried to attack him.
He swung up his gun, and fired one round. The impact of the bullet knocked the Creep back into the far wall. Stan aimed and hit it in the neck, completely severing its head.
Rushing to the generator, he saw that the fuel level was at full. Thank God!, he thought. Flipping the switch, it roared to life, and the lights in the warehouse began to flicker to life. The light now streaming out the high windows lit the advancing hoarde of zombies. They were still several hundred paces from the bus, but were advancing fast. Stan couldn't see this, as he was frantically searching for what had brought him into the mining warehouse: dynamite.
Looking down the long rows of shelves that were almost as high as the twenty foot ceiling, Stan searched frantically for any indication of were the explosive could be. Suddenly, he was struck by another intense pain behind his forehead. This time, he was shown a large locked steel case on the nearest wall. Then, he was shown the dead Creep in the generator room, and more importantly, the keys in its pocket.
Running back to the Creep, he retrieved the keys, and ran to the case. Opening the lock, he carefully opened the lid of the chest, and reached in and carefully extracted several of the highly volatile sticks of the explosive. Running back out to the bus, he yelled to his companions, "Look what I've found!"
Auron continuously blocked out Damien's brushing against his mind. He's getting a little annoying. However, Auron knew what Damien was doing, so excused it.
Yuna, however, when in the presence of Damien, had her powers grow a little, using Damien's power to help boost hers. She, also, noticed the incoming swarm, although only after Damien did, and weaker. She clutched her staff tightly, and Auron looked at Damien after his utterance of the overly-cliched battle line.
"I suppose a defence would be in order, yes." Auron grabbed his sword, which was bigger than some of the people on the bus, but stayed seated. "Unfortunately, I have no long-ranged weaponry. You will have to deal with them until they come closer."
Auron walked out with the rest of them. Most of the party went for cover to shoot the hosts, however, Auron did not have that option. Nor did he particularly want it.
"And here they come." A few of them came after Auron, as he was the most exposed, lunging and gasping, begging for the oppertunity to eat the live flesh. Not over my de...nevermind. He dismissed the thought as he tossed off his coat on his left side where he had his arm hanging, showing the more-than-average muscle on his arm, along with a strange tatoo. He shifted the sword to his left hand, his dominant hand, and readied for battle, sunglasses still on, covering (slightly) the large scar that ran across his left eye.
One of the zombies jumped at him, and Auron simply held out his sword as the zombie impaled himself on the large weapon. As another undead began to lunge at him, he swung the blade around, flinging the corpse off of it and smashing it into the other undead. Auron took the back end of the sword and crushed the skull of the pinned zombie, only to have one jump at him as he wasn't looking.
However, noticing it just in time, he ducked low to avoid the jump, and once the undead thing cleared him, he jumped up into the air and came down on the undead, slashing the zombie clear in half with the blade of his sword.
Cleaning the strange blood off of his sword, he retreated back into the woods and let some of the people with guns take care of them before he headed back out. He turned his head when he heard someone cry out "Hey, look what I found!" He walked over to Stan and examined the dynamite, smirking.
"THis may prove useful." He looked up at Stan, only to see him looking at him oddly. And then Auron realized -- his sunglasses fell off, exposing the massive scar that ran from above his eyebrow, over his eye, ending parallel with his lips. And with his coat still off on the left side, there was no large collar to hide it running down his face. He shook it off and turned around quickly, heading back out to the field of zombies, hopefully their numbers diminished from the gunfire, kicking himself for allowing them to fall off, letting Stan see his unusable left eye, and the massive scar that showed it.

Stan had noticed the strange scar, but had thought nothing of it at the moment. There were more pressing issues in his mind at the time. Running over to Aidan, he handed him two sticks, and left two for himself. "Try and avoid collateral dammgae to us or the bus. Throw them as far out as possible."
Hefting the volatile explosive, stan swung it over his head, not even bothering with a fuse, knowing that it would explode on contact or that Aidan could light it if it didn't.
The stick sailed through the air, and landed in a group of five Creeps. The explosion disintegrated those five, and the shock wave destroyed several more in the vicinity and knocked still others to the ground.
When the others called out that there were Infected, Kara had headed into the bus rather than outside like the others. She did this for two reasons, the first being fear at the Infected, and the second was she'd survived not by fighting them but by avoiding the Infected whenever possible. She knew she could keep them at bay in the confines of bus but that she didn't really stand much of a chance facing a large number of them in open terrain.

Aidan was sitting in the bus, hiw window opren, and firing at the ghouls as they advanced. reaching out with his mind, he excited the molecules of the undead, and set as many of them on fire as he could.
"Everyone get inside, We gotta move, NOW!"
Aidan continued firing, mettalic clangs sounding off at regular intervals as he emptied, one, two, three clips into the onrushing ghouls.
I don't have enough ammo for this, time to use my bow.
He dropped his garand to his seat, and fired off arrows at the ghastly beings.
Even those not hit in the head where doomed, as the chemicals coating the arrow heads caught fire upon contact with the water of the body.
Time to show everyone why my name means Fire I guess. Aidan thought, traginf like a dragon with his bow and mind.

Aidan nodded, It was the perfect opputrtunity.
He threw them out the window, into the center of the horde. Using his dragon fire, he lit them right as they reached eye leve, exploding spectacularly as they spatterred brains everywhere.

"RUN!" Sloan called, taking out his Thompson submachine gun, he fired a burst at three infected. "Anyone who's left, hop on!"

Janine closed the luggage compartments under the bus, and then ran and climbed into a seat affording her a view of the now thoroughly diminished group of zombies. Only twenty remained, but they were too close for dynamite now. They had to be dealt with one at a time. The Priest was in the seat in front of her, his Winchester 1885 firing almost as fast as he could work the lever action. Each of his shot seemed to take a zombie down. His accuracy with iron sights was impressive.
Stan meanwhile set down the remaining stick of dynamite, and then drew his .45 again. He lined up his shots, but not all of them hit or otherwise destroyed the vital brainstem. Still, the power of the gun knocked back anything its bullets hit, knocking a number of zombies off their feet. The 14 round clip emptied faster than he would have wished, but he had two more, so he swapped it out for another in a movement that although not perfect showed much practice.
So far, excluding the dynamite, he'd dropped 3 Creeps, and injured a lot more. He hoped he'd be getting some back up from the Sniper here in a bit though.

Alina sighted down the Winchester and fired, putting a bullet through it's brain. Using her connection to Damien, and thus Aidan's occular lobe, she was bale to sense which ones the young survivalist was about to try and turn into a walking lighter.
Taking aim at another, she fired again, taking out the ghouls.
"Damien, let's get out of here as soon as possible." She called.
"Is everyone aboard?" he asked, wanting desperatly to start the bus moving.
Meanwhile, Alina continued to focus on the ghouls, laying down deadly fire with her husband's winchester.

"For the love of..." Sloan cursed, driving towards the zombies. "Head to the church! I'll follow later!"
