Ok so I'm a little bored and I've been having an idea of Jedi Academy in my nation. Only now have I decided to do something about it and tie it in with the return of Lady Nocturne. Thoise who don't know, Lady Nocturne was the mysterious lady who's ship attack Prince Kurt's 18th birthday party.

Now the characters I need are Teachers/Jedi Knights and of course apprentices and Padawans. For the bad guys who'll show up a little later in the thread I need some bounty hunters and followers of Lady Nocturne.

On the way, he killed whom every, he ran into, for blood. Landed on a black planet with an ancient Sith temple on it. Was trained was 10,000 years before he killed his master and took over his master's ship. Now, he just flies around the galaxy looking for easy blood.

One of the few Jedi in recorded history to use more than one lightsaber, coupled with being one of the few beings of a four armed species to be a Jedi, Cay'den Steiner's known more for his bizarre lightsaber technique rather than his force power. A constant twirl and flurry in a fight, he seems to confuse an enemy more than have any actual finese with the blade. To add to this he uses the Force to dizzy his opponent, a force power called Malacia. Cay'den teaches lightsaber and Jedi history in the temple, but is often called into bizzare situations. He is one of the first to receive a Jedi Starfighter.

Arkutesh was born on Celegia and wanted to know everything about anything he saw. One day he was exploring a forest and came across a starship. Being reckless as he was, he entered the ship without second thought, curious about how it worked. After a few minutes, he heard footsteps and quickly hid in a storage compartment. The ship took off and left the Celegia System. It was only afterwards that the pilot, Jedi Master Plo Koon, sensed an intruder and opened the storage compartment Arkutesh was in. Arkutesh's frantic attempts to explain himself were futile. But, without any nearby planet on which to get rid of him, Plo Koon had no choice but to bring Arkutesh to Coruscant. Along the way, Plo Koon sensed that the Force was strong in Arkutesh, so upon arrival on Coruscant, Arkutesh was brought before the Jedi Council and later was trained. By the age of 16 Arkutesh had been apprenticed to Master Fisto.

Arkutesh, having no equivalent to hands, cannot physically grip anything, so he relies on object manipulation through the Force. He isn't sure that he will want a lightsaber when he becomes a Jedi Knight; the Force by itself may be more convenient. He regularly injects himself with liquid cyanogen, removing the need for a glass container around himself containing the substance in its gas form (which makes up Celegia's atmosphere) and protecting him from oxygen's toxicity. He communicates with others telepathically through the Force.

I like star wars alot but i havnt really read into it alot ie books and what not ... just the movies ... so are theese characters from the books or some that y'all made up or a combo of that? And do y'all go somwhere to play this like an online game or is this somthing else ... I am confused alot! if someone could please tell me what is going on i would be very happy! :D

OCC: most, not all, of the characters above are created by the people who are using them. Most are Star Wars Alien species though, and most posts have mentioned Jedi from Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, or Revenge of the Sith.

Bio: Born to a pair of First Class Krowemohian Citizens, even as an infant, Lucca showed a deep connection to the Force. Of course, under the Corporate rule of the Big Three, her Force abilities would have been repressed, as Force Users were less then popular in the Corporate Empire of Krowemoh
One day, mere weeks before she was to be Barcoded and assigned a Citizen Id Number, she was kidnapped by none other then B. Queen herself, the leader of the infamous Blockcade Runner gang. After her parents refused to pay her ransom, the Blockcade Runners sold her to a Black Market Slave Dealer, who would take the child and sell her on the slave markets.
But, as the fates would have, the ship carrying her was intercepted by a Jedi, and upon learning of the nature of the cargo the ship was hauling, intervened and freed the captive slaves.
Lucca was a mere toddler at that time, and the Jedi could immediately sense that she was Force Sensative. So, he took her himself, and brought her to the nearest Jedi Temple.
This has been where she was raised. She grasped use of the Force quickly, as well as Lightsaber Combat. She is now awaiting her chance to prove her worthy of the Rank Jedi Knight.
She is currently learning the Form III: Soresu Lightsaber form.

For the record, we're not talking an Anakin-like quest for more power, Taan just has no patience, and doesn't always listen to advice or instruction. The aggression comes from having to fight to stay alive on the streets of Coruscant, so he's always in fights.

Btw I get the basic idea of what a apprentice is, but whats the difference between them and a padawan? Are they just more advanced in the force?

When u become a Jedi, it'll be smoothe, not fuzzy

Young Jedi have their first lightsabers, which operate at a lower power so not to be as strong, given to them by lightsaber instructor teachers at the temple. Later, when they have a master, they will go to Ilum and build their own lightsabers.

An apprentice and a padawan learner are the same thing, there is no difference between them.

First you are a youngling, a little kid with potential in the Force. Then you become a Padawan and go to a Jedi Academy where you learn basic skills. Then a Knight/Master decides to teach you and you become his/her apprentice. After you become a Jedi Knight, then Master, then become one with the Force.

If need be, I'll RP a Bounty Hunter or two, as well. Although, I do ask... What would you want to have the bounty hunters for? I mean, does the Lady have a bounty, or is she putting bounties on the Jedis?

Class : Bounty Hunter.

Originally one of the last of the Clone Line created from Jengo Fett's DNA, after the execution of the Jedi, which occured on his first deployment at age 17, Treezago deserted his unit, feeling repulsed the carnage. For unknown reasons the Flash Imprinting of Jengos mind did not fully take in Treezago, leaving him with all of Jengo's skills, but none of his ruthlessness or callousness. A being of high honor, Treezago now spends his days collecting bounties on Smugglers and on other Bounty Hunters, whom he considers to be scum.

After his desertion from the Clone ranks, Treezago kept his Clone Body Armor, but had it enameled in Flat Grey, making it very difficult to spot at night, which is his favorite hunting time.

Treezago spends much of his proceeds attempting to recreate the full suit of Madalorian Armor worn by Jango Fett. To date he has the boots, leggings, belt, helmet, gloves, and wrist launcher. He has had several leads on a torso piece, the final piece he requires, but so far all have turned out to be false.

Unlike most Bounty Hunters Treezago has a deep and abiding respect for law and order. He also has a firm admiration for the Jedi, whom he considers to be the only opponents in the known galaxy able to possibly defeat him. He has a great friendship with Doorsk 81, the only clone of any species ever to have become a Jedi. He has also recently discovered that he is Force Sensitive, but only to a very minor degree, giving him a slight advantage on the battlefield and in Starfighter Combat. His prefered Starfighter is an upgraded Incom T-65 Space superiority Fighter ( X-Wing) with better engines, shields, and weapons thatn the base model, that he has been working on for nearly a decade. He calls it "Fett's Revenge".

Sounds to me more like a Qui-Gon Jinn, or an Obi-Wan Kenobi,than an Anikin, to me. Headstrong, and sure of himself no matter what the Council thinks, but still a lightsider.

On a side note..are you going to allow Dark Jedi in this RPG? I already have one Bounty Hunter Character up for option, but I could run a Dark Jedi on the side. Also, how about other groups? It could be kind of fun to run a Droid character..or even a Techie. How about normal chars, like military personel, burrocrats ( I spell it like they act!), or just Starfighter pilots like a Wedge or a Porkins? What about whole side groups, like a smugglers organization ( see Talon Karrde, Dravis, Ellor, or even Jabba)? What about a Mystral Warrior? How deep are we going to get this RPG to go? DO we want to go with just action and no feeling, or do we want to go whole hog and be a true gaming group? Are we going to stick with the era around the opening of the Academy, or are you planning to run this all the way into the Invasion of the Yuzan Vong? ( I am very well versed in the Star Wars Universe, up until the New Jedi Order books. Read Vector Prime, and got disgusted when they killed off Chewie, and haven't yet read any of the rest of that group, although I've heard bits and pieces of it from people who have.)

THough he refuses to devulge much about himself, Usdiv has become one of the New Republics most respected Commanders.

Found on the world of Ketaris after the New Republic liberated it, Usdiv offered his services in the New Republic Navy. Begining as a mere Ensign, he quickly rose to Command Grade after his advice to Admiral Drayson won several key victories shortly after the Battle at Endor.

Usdiv was Second in Command of the Ellomin task force defeated after following the Data Raiders from Obra-Sky, in the first battle of the first war against Thrawn. Taken prisoner, he was interrogated at great length by Thrawn, and was only liberated shortly after the final battle at Bilbringi. After many months of rehabilitaion he has finally resumed his rightful place as a command level officer in the New Republic Fleet.

Given command of Task Force 3, of the 3rd Fleet ( Task force Silver), he feels he has something to prove as a former Imperial prisoner. Some under his Command wonder even now if he may have been turned by the Imps, and is now acting as a spy.

While not as great a tactician as Miththr'awnadu ( Thrawn), he is still nearly the equal of Garm Bel Iblis in matters of Tactical expertese. ( In terms of the D20 RPG, figure Thrawn had a Tact Skill of 18, Garm Bel Iblis a Tact skill of 15, Usdiv, would rate a Tact Skill of at least 12, more likely 14.)

If you need complete skills lists, give me a couple of hours and I can come up with them. If you need scenarios, they take a little longer. Short scenarios can be done in a day, long scenarios may take as much as a week.

A "Jack of all Trades" Jaris is known best for his abilty to repair nearly any computer based system, his hunches, and his sheer fighting powers.

Bio:He was born a slave on Tatooine to the evil Toydarian Towao. Sey tried to escape many time but he was never succesful. His overconfidence cost him. His punishments were a tar bath wich permanantly scared his skin tone a pitch black color, the cutting of his head horns into stubs, and the horrific murder of his parents all before his 10th birthday. After being threatend with another tar bath Sey tied his slave master to the back of a ship. He stowed away until it stoped and he found himself, and the remains of Towao, on the Jedi Academy planet. He is headstrong, very acrobatic(due to his species), and has high levels of Medi-chlorines. He found the jedi temple and asks the masters there if he could become a padawan.Through reluctance they agreed to teach him.

By the way, what is the name of the planet where the academy is??? Is it Coruscant like the one in the movies or another ... like after ep. 6 ?

Bio: A human with shocking red hair, Reno isn't the best bounty hunter out in the universe, but he is one of the better ones.
Reno is perhaps best known for his skill with the Butterfly Rod, a custom built Stun Baton capable of running electricity up and down it's shaft. When a target is struck by his electricfied Butterfly Rod, they suffer near complete lost of all motor skills, including loss of muscle and bowel control. This renders them helpless enough so that Reno can cuff them unchallenged.
The Butterfly Rod itself can also function as a normal durasteel baton, useful for pounding heads and beating disobediant bounties into submission.
Reno is known for taking bounties for the money, rather then the thrill of the hunt. As such, he almost nearly captures all of his bounties alive, because live bounties fetch a higher price.
Currently, he's come to Wundagore DN, following a lead on a possible huge bounty head that he can cash in on.

A padawan and a jedi apprentice are same thing. And for those of you who don't know what Jedi Spirit is, it is when a master dies and they become a spirit as shown in Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi. When Yoda dies he becomes a spirit.

Some further Info on the Fett's Revenge, for those who are curious.

THe Densia Quad Guns come with a fire control system that fires them in pairs. The X-Wing's fire control system has three settings, single shot, with all guns firing at once, Opposing, which fires 2 cannons at once in cross pattern, and Machine gun, which fires each cannon sepperately. On the Fett's Revenge, with it's eight guns, these control systems have been merged. THe Revenge has 4 settings, half shot, which fires 4 guns at once, Opposing, which fires 2 guns at once in cross pattern, Machine Gun, which fires in sequence, and Full Shot, which fires all 8 guns at once. Half shot and Opposing fire at twice the speed of the normal X-Wing's system, due to doubled weapons. Machine gun fires at roughly 6 times the normal X-Wing pattern, due the Densia Quad Gun's rapid recharge. Each of the Densia Quads cannon fire with somewhat less power than the original X-Wing cannon system, but because of the fact that there are 8 guns, it's Firepower is nearly doubled.

1) I wasn't on for 12 hours, I just posted, went to sleep, did some other stuff, and noone posted in all that time. I was just curious if people lost interest because nothing was happening in the game.

2) I'm just getting detailed so that when things happen quickly in the game, when the time comes, people will be able to go back to this post and see that I'm not just making stuff up as I go, but that I have set up circumstances beforehand. THis particular character is closely based on a Char I RPed in the Real World a couple of years ago. YOu can get as detailed or as general as you want, that's the fun of RPGs. Especially RPGs online, where noone can call you an not having something ready on your char because they can't see your mental char sheet. I personally just like having things semi-planned out in advance, makes it easier to get into the game if you have a base set of concepts set up and have only what you already have stated to work with. That way if someone shoots at me with a Skipray Blastboat's Proton Torpedos, I can point out that my Tri-Layered shields deflect the blast easily, or if I need to assist in the emergency repair of a Corrilian Gunship at some point, I can show that my Droid has the nessecary memory module to do so, but, if someone pulls a lightsabre on me, I can't suddenly say " I pull my lightsabre and block his blow" because ( at least for now) I don't have a lightsabre. ;)

Well I did mention in my last post in this OOC thread that I was having computer problems and it finally conked out and couldn't get it fixed until today.

Wow, a brand new student who has already mastered 5 of the 7 Lightsabre forms, including Varpaad, the Windu form, created by Windu, and Mastered only by Windu ( as of Episode III). It took Yoda 800 years to master all 6 of the conventional forms, and this guy thinks he's mastered 5 in less than 30? Arrogence! I could see, like Anikin, Mastering 2 forms in less than a century, but 5?

Hmm, OK, I went back and did some re-reading...somewhere along the line I had picked up that Den was an apprentice. Sorry. My bad. I keep leaving bad all over the place. One of these days I'm going to have to go around and pick it all up.

Just an opinion..isn't this RPG going a little slow? I know the Master had comp probs, but it's amazing how long it goes between posts from the others.

Anyway, I've set up my char, to this point, as one who could go either way. If you Jedi except him, he will be a great force on the Good side. Reject him, and he will be a great Force on the Dark. I'm more or less leaving it up to you guys, I can play either side, and have.

More people might be more interested if you focused on pairing the padawans to masters and teaching them first before starting a battle with lady nocturne... It would be nice if the padawans new a little about fighting ( i know some were trained on coruscant and other places before but some are new and dont know anything) if you train them they wont be likely to die against lady nocturne and followers in a battle...!!!!

Anyhow, do you have like a example character bio I can look off of or a link to the RP? I'd like to play a young Jedi who's struggling with not giving in to the dark side because he wants power, but that's not the Jedi way. Still, if everyone's playing a character like that, it would be kinda dumb.

I'm going on vacation from the 16th to the 28th, but I'd like to try to get a character bio up before that...and maybe a post or something.

Bio: A child protegy of sorts, Vin is quite adept with the force. Because of this, he is also a fearful opponent to face with a lightsaber. Wary of his pride, power, and arrogance, other Jedi often avoid Vin, except in the heat of battle, when he proves to be a more than worthy opponent.

Since I see you don't do that here, and because my character came into this RP later than everyone else, I figured I should let people get to know Vin a little btter. He is a vamp right. All Den has to do is pull out some holy water and the guy is toast. Your character isn't the only one who has mastered his side of the force. My character draws his powers from both the light side and the dark side so he can do some things that other jedi can't do. He was trained by the Dark Woman before she was killed. He is a time traveler so don't sleep on him yet. You haven't seen anything yet. ;) He has seen and done things that you can't imagine.

Also the only reason why I haven't posted in the other thread is because I am waiting for Steel Butterfly to post with his character.

Well Den Wescolum cheated in his duel with Vin Indra by RPing his opponent. The Dragon Prince is a sentient dragon with magic powers which is why he looks like a human to everyone now.

Why did I pick an evil person? Now, I have wait to RP. Maybe I can send in Eric as a spy or something but two people will know it is Eric. What to do?

@Transylvania- I got a good idea on how to kill him but I am not going to say it now because you will probably deny that that is not the way to kill him.

There's one simple way to kill any kind of vampire. Just chop their body into little bits. If they can manage to survive that then you're screwed unless you have nuclear weapons at your disposal.
