"Twenty-One... Now what?" Aieshia asked, wanting a little more action going on here....

"It's a draw, do you want to play again or perhaps another game?" Victor asked

OOC: Gael, we just moved from the club down the block to a goth club. All of us aren't involved with Christian. Everyone seems to have their own agenda. Good to see you back! :D You've been missed! :)

"Why don't you choose, Victor. We could play pool when the table opens... or dice, or... do you have any ideas?" Aiesha asked him while she adjusted her sunglasses. She would have to excuse herself for about ten minutes to feed in a bit. Good thing she was an ancient and could fly. That way she could just find some criminal and be back in an instant.

"If we could get a few more people, poker, cheat or thirty-one would be nice, otherwise I'm up for a game of pool." Victor replied
Hyperslackovicznia
26-06-2005, 03:29
"How about pool? I'm pretty good at it... 8-ball? If anyone wanted to join in we could play teams. Archer needs every chance to get his money back, but I think this will just end up one on one." Aiesha picked up her purse and her champaigne flute. "Bartender, another bottle of the same!" She knew Archer must be seething by now, but she won fair and square and he cheated!

The bartender handed Aiesha another bottle. "Let's go wait by the pool table. It's closer to the door and we can get some fresh air."

26-06-2005, 03:34
"Alright, how about the loser has to pay ten dollars for every ball they havn't sunk?" Victor asked as he stood up.

"Sounds good to me. If you'll excuse me a moment, I'm going to go out and get some fresh air. I'll be back before we get the table." Aiesha ran out the door and immediately took flight looking down for some mugger or something.

And it didn't take long. Down one block in an alley, a man was trying to attack a woman, tearing at her clothes. She was screaming. Aiesha landed right behind him and grabbed him by the neck. Being a vampire, she had enoromous strength.

"Run!" she yelled to the woman, who was pretty hysterical. "I've got him... get out of here!"

The woman did exactly that. She ran out of the alley and into the street.

The man was struggling, but she had him in a chokehold by the neck. She held him tight and bit into his neck, and drank. She didn't realize how much she had needed to feed. She began feeling rejuvinated again. When she had her fill, the man was dead. She cut his neck to the teeth marks could not be seen, cleaned up her face and put her lipstick on. She flew immediately back to the club.

As she walked back in, she said to Victor, "Well that was refreshing. I really needed the air. It's so stale in here." One dead rapist and no guilt. She smiled to herself.

"Are we up pretty soon?"

ooc : thank god Gael. i've had enough of these stalling tactics. glad you're home.

ic : Dimitri won, but only just. The man was good. Dimitri kept the table and looked around for another opponent. The night was turning unproductive and he was going to leave soon.

"And here i thought i'd get to do something today" he told himself.

Dimitri shook his head remmebering his clan members he had ended earlier the night. He missed the old days; the days of fear but respect. They disgraced his entire race. They deserved their fate. And Dimitri never regretted "sticking it" to his old clan, so to say.

"We are up right about now." Victor said as one of the pool players sank the eight ball. He passed her a cuestick, and then stopped to take a second glance at her, and his expression changed slightly.

Aiesha looked at Victor, as he was looking at her strangely. "What is it Victor? You're... staring. Is something wrong?" She asked, knowing full well he probably knew she just fed, but of course didn't know the circumstances.

"Well?"

ooc : its not that im not enjoying it. It's just that theres no real plot progression. no offense meant in any way.
ooc: I didn't know there was a set plot other than some stripper being turned into a vampire, and the rest of us have our own subplots. That was my understanding. We're not all involved with those characters.
Wandering Vagabonds
26-06-2005, 04:48
ooc : ya, there isnt really a set plot. i just felt we where getting a bit off course. supose i thought it would be more of a cenrtally controled RP or something until after all that was needed to be done was done. don't ask, im not even sure i know myself.

ic : Aeisha and a man stood just off to the side looking for a table. THere was something familiar about the man, but Dimitri couldnt quite place it. He shrugged it off as having too much to drink. The man had been watching his game and the table now being free looked as though he wanted to take up the absence.

Archer noticed when Aisha came back in looking fresher than before. She was putting it down to the air, but-
No vampire comes back looking that refreshed by looking at the scenery
He got up from the bar and slipped out the kitchen entrance ignoring the protests of the staff. When he got out onto the street he saw a woman in slightly torn clothes walking down the street, he looked shaken, but not bloodied up. Still, he went the way she was walking from and glanced into all the backalleys on the way. Most vampires had a pattern in the city, they liked to either stash the bodies in an alley where it would be put down as simple murder by another human, or be less subtle and leave it in the open air for the paranormal experts to get exited over.
Aha
So she was one of the neat ones. The body looked beated up, and like he had had his throat cut, but there was suprisingly little blood, or at least suprisingly if you didn't know how he was probably killed. He knelt by the body and carefully ran a cotton swab across the wound, then deposited it in a vial of thin pale liquid. It turned a purplish green and he sighed, he wasn't familiar with this particular breed or clan. As he was getting up he noticed somthing else, the man was clutching a knife in his hand, and on looking around the alley fragments of clothing were strewn around. The man was evidently a rapist or a mugger, the woman had seen her victim.
So, the woman has morals
It happened of course, somtimes vampires took the option of only feeding on human criminals. It was thier equivalent of eating vegetarian but without the difficult recepie books. He walked back to the bar with a smile and sat back down in his place.

"Listen to me Victor. This is what I have to do to exist." Aieshia was getting more and more angry. "First of all, I don't think you have the power to follow through on your threat, whether you believe you do or not. It's the obnoxiousness of the threat in the first place that pisses me off." She was trying to calm down so she wouldn't shout. "Second of all, I only hunt criminals while committing a crime. I happened to save a woman from being raped and murdered by grabbing her attacker. I don't hunt the innocent."

Aieshia turned on her heel. She yelled over her shoulder "I don't think I want to play pool with you anymore!" She stomped back in the door and sat back at the bar. I'm sick of being second guessed all the time.

"Bartender, a straight up glass of your best vodka on ice and a deck of cards." He handed her the cards and went about making her drink.

Aieshia sat at the bar alone playing solitaire.

'The woman. You saved her didn't you.' He sipped his drink
'....Thanks, on her behalf'

"Oh... I didn't intend for you to over hear that." Aieshia said with a sigh. "For your information, I only feed on criminals, people committing crimes, etc. I don't kill innocents. Mar... I was taught long ago that this was the best way I could live and do so with less guilt, and perhaps help some people in the process." She looked down. "Sounds pretty pathetic for a vampire..."

Victor simply smiled a half-grin and took a seat at one of the tables at the club.

'Pathetic? No. Not the word I would use. It's better than most humans, and what's a vampire but an ajusted human? Yer could do alot worse. In fact... I can't see any way anyone in yer postion could do better' He turned and smiled

Dimitri grew tired of the bar. It was growing increasingly obvious to him that this woman he followed had other motives. So Dimitri replaced his pool cue on the wall and turned to leave the bar.

Aieshia was getting bored out of her mind by now as well. She saw Dimitri get up to leave and decided she might as well leave also. Nothing going on in here. It's just dying. I'm just going to go for a walk.

Aieshia got up and got her purse, said goodbye to Archer, avoided Victor's gaze and walked out the door into the fresh air. She continued to walk down various streets and just people watch.

A little ways outside the club, Dimitri ran into a pack of vampires, more than one of them familiar to him. Both he and the group stopped in mid-stride. One of the pack spoke.

"Well, well, well, look who it is. Dimitri, o'l pal. What brings you back to town" the man spoke, sarcasm and malice dripping from every word.

"Hello Taz" Dimitri replied.

"God, its been a life time" Taz said. "More than one, actually."

Taz and his group where tense, as was Dimitri.

"I dont supose you still have that old ring of mine, do you Dimitri?" Taz enquired, showing his hand, minus its ring finger.

"Actually, i left it for you inside the club, along with some of you're friends."

Dimitri smirked and Taz snarled. A second later, the other vampires with Taz charged Dimitri. They wheren't new blood either; they new how to handle themselves. Dimtiri fought them off as long as he could, then he ducked out of the brawl and stood in the street limping a bit.

"Good to see you again Taz. We'll talk soon."

Dimitri wiped away a bit of blood from his lip and walked away. Taz's group did the same, nursing their wounds as they entered the club.

As Aiesha was walking, she heard some sort of brawl around the corner. She turned the corner to see several vampires attacking Dimitri. Dimitri!

Within a millisecond she had two of the men by their collars and flew up a couple stories and threw them to the ground. By this point, everyone was tending their wounds.

She saw Dimitri was bleeding. "Dimitri, are you OK? Who were they?" Aieshia was clearly worried. "Can I help you? Can you walk OK?" She was concerned as to why so many attacked him. "Let me help you walk. Umm... Who were they, and why did they attack you?"

After the group had gotten some way down the street, a figure stepped out of the shadows and clamly moved Taz against the wall. It wasn't a shove or anything forceful, just taking the man by suprise and making sure he ended up against the cold bricks
'Well there, hello. You know fightin's not very nice' He smiled cheerfully
'Now tell uncle Archer all about it, why were ye beatin that purr man back there up' Archer glanced down to the small gap between them. There was a stake in Archers hand and it was pressed gently against Taz's heart
'Oh would ye look at that now, they just get everywhere don't they'

Aiesha looked down the street and saw Archer with one of Dimitri's attackers shoved up against the wall. I hope Archer knows what he's doing.

She saw the stake and started shaking. Vampires have a way of turning the situation around. Be careful Archer.

"I never know where i'm going really. I just sorta go." Dimitri replied.

Taz looked at the stake, then at the man.

"You have no idea who i am do you? Stupid question, of course you don't."

Taz was fast. Before Archer could blink Taz had twisted the stake out of his hand and held it at Archer's throat.

"I supose i shall have to introduce myself. I am Tazarion, leader of the clan Jorun. The man you saw us attack is an outcast; banished from his clan for crimes that i need not divulge to the likes of you." Taz spoke arogantly.

The other vampires with him had noticed that Taz was no longer among them and where standing off to the side. Taz dropped the stake to the ground and waled abck to his group.

"Go home little man. And try not to threaten me again."

Aiesha had heard every word. Since she was an ancient, from the first brood, far more powerful than Taz, she could project into his mind and she did. All vampires knew that for a vampire to from a distance and invade an unwilling mind, as well as not allow the receptor to stop it, the way this 'man' was doing, meant he was a very powerful vampireā€¦ One not to fuck with.

Aiesha was around the corner and projected her voice to sound like a man's, so Taz would have no idea who was projecting.

If you ever fuck with Dimitri or Archer again, you will regret it. Jorun Clan? *laughs* Do you think that makes you powerful? Then it is YOU who are unaware with whom you are dealing. I eat people like you for breakfast. I suggest you go back to your little friends and get the fuck out of here Taz. Moreover, why don't you stay away from this area while you're at it? MY clan won't be easy on you if I see you around here again.

Aiesha knew Dimitri could hear her. However, NO ONE knew she was an ancient... first brood. No one believed we existed... that all the Ancients died out. Also, she was able to block her thoughts from other vampires. She truly was amazingly powerful, but she did not lord it over anyone. She just helped her friends, or acquaintances. Aiesha learned from her Sire, to have morals, even if she was a vampire.

OOC: Everyone check the last few posts on the "Vampire Idea/OOC Interest Thread". Gaeltach says we hijacked the thread, but anyway, she will not post, neither will Golden Sim until Amanda is back. Know one knows when that is.

I didn't think we hijacked it as we're still on the same night, and just getting around to meeting, etc., but the stripper and her b/f are still in the bar and Christian is still in the doorway watching her. We've gotten around to meeting, and we all need a reason to be where we are, and a background, and I thought that's as far as we really got. We haven't advanced the plot anywhere. That's just my opinion. Of course, I may be way off.

Sorry if there was a breach of ettiquette. We just thought it was harmless passing the time until you two got back.

Anyway, I guess we really weren't supposed to post at all. So everyone should stop posting until Amanda gets back, whenever that may be. She's been gone since 6/15 according to the other thread. Check this thread and then I'll delete this: Vampire Idea/OOC interest thread
