I've never been in a cup before, so I don't know what to expect. I organize the Lancre Cup though, in my Region of Lancre, but it's on a slightly smaller scale than the world cup...

All those nations you've listed in the BoF thread are eligible, including the three puppets. Bettisville, the late entrant has also been deemed eligible. With those fourteen nations, you may begin whenever you see fit.

We will give until the end of the day for any new nations to confirm interest in the BoF, then it will begin.

There is an old man in Praying2God that has vague recollections of having played against Pablicosta back in the day when we participated before leaving due to civil unrest back in the early teens (in regards to WC numbers).

Monday 11th April - BoF start
Monday 18th April - BoF finish
Wednesday 20th April - Group draw completed (hopefully rankings out by then)
Saturday 23rd April - WC22 start

Obviously the draw can be done any time between the Monday and the Saturday, so...any objections or changes?

This will start as soon as the Baptism of Fire Cup finishes, projected start date: Next Wednesday, 20 April 2005. Group Draw will take place between Monday, 18th April and Wednesday 20th April.

purely coincidence. I knew I was going to be gone this weekend, and had made Vil aware, along with a few others.

However, tis a moot point, as I got in from Iowa last night. I'll be scorinating MD 2 matches in Legalese sometime this afternoon/evening

Now, if such could take place, i'd be grateful, but if its too much of a hassle or just can't happen, I won't fight for it.

We're down to the quarter finals in the BoF now. Semi-finals for each region. Just asking this... how farther ahead does this increase your rank if you win? I never asked, but am curious. But the scores for the BoF semis should be up either 2nite or tomorrow.

I have to try and be optimistic. I am having real hard times IRL and it is driving me to the limit. This is about the only thing I have to give me any fun and enjoyment ATM.

But I am thinking I should be around there. If I remember right, I was around the mid 30s when the second round started last time so I can hope, right?
