2) Right after the assassination, two major factions declaired war against the government of Dalimbar. They are(with their leaders): The Fascist Forces of Dalimbar, lead by Viktor Mulanko; The Monarchists, lead by the self appointed queen of Dalimbar, Natasha Damitrov.
3) Soon after, the Monarchists and Fascists took over the capital city of Rîga, and the United Communist Republican forces were forced into the south of Dalimbar. However, the People's National Assembly was taken hostage by monarchists, ending their selection process for the new Vorsitzender.
4) In the UCR hq, members present selected Vladamir Gregori, a senior member of the Security Committee present, as Vorsitzender and High General of the United Communist Republic of Dalimbar.
5) For a few weeks, fighting continued, then suddenly, the Fascists and Monarchists join sides, declaring themselves the Imperialist Federation of Dalimbar, lead by both leaders, but in reality, Viktor Mulanko.
6) A few weeks after that, the UCR and the IF meets for cease fire talks in Evelyn, Hartert. However, in the last few days of the talks, Kazimeras Gintaras, Chief Secretary of the Internal Affairs Committee of the UCR, gets enough votes from other Chief Secretaries of their committees, plus backing from the military, to successfully take down Vorsitzender Gregori, and exile him from Dalimbar. Gintaras is declaired Vorsitzender, and viciously purges the populous trying to root out supporters of the IF and Gregori. Several thousand are missing.
7) Gregori seeks asylum in several nations in the region.

That is where we are so far.

The short of it is that there is no leader of Dalimbar. And there won't be for weeks at the earliest, even with international intervention from with in the region.

The name of Dalimbar is now the Civil War State of Dalimbar, as we are still in Civil War.
