Calin awoke during the early morning to find himself sprawled across his desk in the palace. As he could not return to slumber, Calin made his way down to his car and began the journey to Karolyn's place.
Upon entering her house, Calin thought it strange she wasn't up yet. Making his toward her room, he noticed large patches of dirt on the floor. Opening the door, Calin was shocked to find the room empty. Karolyn's desk chair had been knocked over and she was gone.
Alerting the house security, they commenced an area search that resulted in nothing. She was not to be found on the property.
He kissed her back. "Good baby." He sits down on hte couch. "Can I tell you later? I'm going to be home from work for the next week."((Hello? Ell?))

"Calis! She's gone. We can't find Karolyn anywhere. No one saw her leave and there are small signs of a struggle in her room."

Pierce put his all of his equitment excepting his gun and badge into his locker. After putting on his civilian clothes, he turned to Odin. "I'll see you in the morning then. Have a good night." Pierce then left the police station and began to walk home. He hadn't driven that day, for it had been rather nice outside, and he hadn't seen why he shouldn't walk. It was still rather nice out, and so he took his time.

"So what are you two up to now? If you're not busy you can come down to the pub with me."
Tyr nodded in agreement.
"Sure, I've got nothing else to do."

Pierce had been in the pub for probably ten minutes now, but was enjoying himself. He was on his second drink, and had seen four friends so far. Dressed in all black, he did look rather strange. Of course he wasn't a goth or anything. People just don't pay attention to someone dressed in all black. They kind of blend in. And that's what Pierce wanted. Otherwise, every five seconds someone he didn't know would be introducing him or herself. Turning to the bartender, he asked, "Got Milk?"

Pierce looked around the pub, and realized he'd been here for ((OOC: Three weeks...hehehe)) half an hour. Of course, he didn't see why that mattered at all, if he timed it right, he'd be here for another three hours before going home to watch the "Cops" marathon.
Looking up at the small TV in the bar, Matt watched as the thing switched to show a special news report on some kidnapping. "Well.", he thought to himself, "Perhaps we'll have something to do tommorow after all."

After Jimmy left to make the call, 6 men walked into the room, three of which had guns held against their head. "You are no doubt wondering why I have called this meeting. You see, I have a proposition to make. You surrender control of your organizations peacefully and come to work here at Lokiii, or you die here and I take over by force." the Boss said. "F*ck you, sh!thead." two of them replied before their heads exploded and the two shooters walked over to the third ex-boss to put their guns against his head. "I kind of have that feeling too." said Pierce, looking around. He would have assumed it was simply jitters for what could happen tommorow, but Pierce had had this feeling before. And about ten minutes after having it, he'd been standing dead in the middle of a bank robbery, with a guard lying dead across the room, and his girlfriend, who had pulled a gun on the robber, lying dead at his feat. Of course, somehow Pierce doubted he was about to get robbed...perhaps the fact that he was armed and with two other cops, but he just didn't get the idea any criminal would be dumb enough not to tell who they were...even if they were in civilian clothes.

Calis sat within his office, surrounded by the men from the conference. It was time to put the plan into action. Firstly, he called the head of police for the city and informed him of the actions.
The police would trace the transaction whilst the ASA hackers determined who and where it belonged to. The best officers were to be ready to infiltrate such a the aquired location, and disperse the enemy.
The police comissioner looked worried as he hung up the phone. This isn't good. He'll be pissed off if they get the girl back. He picked up the the phone and dialled a number that no one within law enforcement knew.
"Hello, this is the APC. The transaction is a fake, it's just a computer trick. There will be officers converging on your position. This is out of my control, the orders come directly from the President. I suggest you prepare."

They opened fire on the unfortunate police men and Odin.

Team A sizzled and convulsed violently as the powerful lightning arced through their unsuspecting bodies. An officer that had been blasted around the corner watched as his co-workers burnt from the inside, the stench filling the tunnels.
The man was stricken by horror. Fear overwhelmed his immediate thirst for vengence, causing the man to run..... He continued to run, his footsteps echoed slightly as he franticlly attempted to escape a grusome death. Finally he reached the exit and reached the surface. He continued to sprint until he reached awaiting police forces upon the street.
___________
Odin and his men ducked behind a nearby corner. Three men were not so lucky, being bombarded with bullet piercing and AK47 rounds. Odin watched in horror as three of his men were shredded to pieces.
Indicating to two other men, Odin pointed down a deserted hallway. The two men nodded and departed in silent haste. The men disappeared around the corner, searching for the target. Odin recognised it immediately. Even over the gunfire, Odin heard the loud beep of a proximity mine. Looking back toward the corridor where his men had just disappeared, Odin saw flames, rubble and blood rush into the wall.
"Shit. We're down to five men. Guys, they were obviously expecting us with traps and armed guards. Let's get the f*%k out of here."
Odin indicated to Tyr to cover him as he launched a flash and frag grenade toward the assaulting criminals. The grenades went off in a whirl of fire, magnesium and shrapnel, giving the officers the chance to escape.
Sprinting back through the 'back door', Odin, Tyr, Pierce and Elrond retreated. Odin grunted as a round wedged itself into his left shoulder, but he continued his escape, intent on leading his men out alive.
There was the sound of argument. And then something got sent flying through the air. Karolyn Von Klyne slammed back first into a thick wall, then slumped down to the floor.

"They knew we were coming! They had mines set, guards ready! They bloody knew! Because of some traitorous bastard, 15 men are dead!"
Odin hadn't even tended to his shoulder wound as he screamed at the chief. Tyr, Elrond, Pierce and the sole survivor of Team A sat quietly behind, slightly intimidated by Odin's rage.
The chief sighed.
"I don't know how they could of known. The consequences of this are going to be very very bad. The President and his brother will not be happy at all."
"I'll tell you how it bloody happened! There is a corrupt member of our force! There is no other explanation damnit!"
The debate continued late on into the afternoon, none interrupting the fuming officer and the chief.

Pierce walked out of the office, listening as the cheif and Odin continued yelling at each other. Closing the door carefully, shrugged his shoulders in apology to all the people who were suddenly distracted, and walked over to Odins desk.
Making sure no one was looking, he picked up the phone and looked around. No one was paying attention to him anymore, so he sat down, and dialed the number.
Looking around once more, he began speaking silently into the receiver for about five minutes, before hanging up. He started walking back over to the Cheif's office, acting as if nothing had just happened.

Calis and Calin swore simultaneously. Calin stormed up and down the presidential office, furious that his girlfriend had not been recovered upon the police raid.
Calis was a lot calmer.
"They report says the criminals already knew.... they must be getting their info from the inside."
"We must take action. Full force!"
"Calm down, we don't need an overkill."
The brothers continued to debate throughout the night......

Pierce stepped out in front of Odin, and stopped him. "Odin, would you calm down? Damnit, you can't just go running around yelling at everyone! Look, I agree that we need to investigate. Someone leaked. But we have NO IDEA WHO! For all we know, it could be the commisioner!" Even as Pierce said it, somehow he doubted it, but he continued nonetheless.
"Look, anyone who knew about it is a suspect, that's nearly a dozen people. There's nothing we can do until we know exactly who it was! When we do, we can take him down, but untill then...look, Odin, it's been a long day, how about we head home untill tommorow? I could have one of my old friends from IA meet us here tommorow. Come on, let me drive you home."

Odin glared at the new officer. For the first time, his voice took on the authoritive tone.
"Stand down officer. I have business to conduct."
Before Pierce could react, Odin stepped around him and moved into the elevator, closing the doors.
Upon the top level, Odin walked calmly and quietly toward the commissioner's office. As he was about to open the door and unleash his rage at the ranking police official, he overheard the conversation.
"Don't worry, none of them know. I hope things went off well for you. Tell me, what are you going to do with the girl? I see.... that my cause some trouble. Don't worry, I'll see what I can do."
At that moment, the commissioner noticed the shadow infront of the blinds covering his door. Someone was listening. The shadow disappeared the second the conversation halted. Rushing toward the security camera monitors, the commissioner swore as he identified the person rushing down the corridor, toward the stairs.
"Shit."
Odin bolted as fast as he could. He had to get out of there. He knew there were cameras all over the building, the security monitors being in that office. If the commissioner was corrupt, there was no telling who else could be. Not a single person could be trusted..... unless he personally knew them well.

The alarm blared, bringing Pierce from his report writing almost immediatly. "What the hell?" he asked to a man at the desk next to him, but the officer couldn't respond before the loud speakers blaired.
"This is the Commisioner. All officers, be on the lookout for Officer Odin. He is heavily armed, and is to be considered dangerous. Arrest him immediatly, if he resists, use any force necesary. This is not a drill."
"Damnit!" Pierce yelled. Odin must have attacked the commisioner in some serious way. Officers were already running about, getting civilians out of the station, and getting all the prisoners in the area down to the cells.
Pierce rushed towards the stairs, knowing the elevators were probably being used. He climbed up the five stories to the Administration Level, pulled his weapon, and stepped in. He saw the commisioner yelling down the hallway as higher ranking police officers jumped from their officers. Looking around, Pierce saw Odin entering a second staircase at the end of the hallway.
Instead of going after him, Pierce rushed down the stairway to the next level, then made a beeline across for the other staircase. He needed to catch Odin and talk the guy down before anything really bad happened.

Odin's fast reflexes saved him from running into an incoming officer. Odin was about to kick the crap out of him until he noticed who it was.
"Pierce, I have to get out of here. Whatever they are saying, I didn't do it. You've got to trust me. Tell the chief that I need to meet him at the ERL at 10pm tonight."

Pierce looked at him, as thoughts raced through his mind. Odin had seemed a good cop, but then, he had also seemed extremely dangerous. Duty to his friends vs. duty to his force. He looked Odin in the face...the guy didn't seem to be lying....
Pierce nodded. "Take these." he said, giving Odin a set of keys and a slip of paper. "Go to the adress written on the paper, and stay there untill the meeting. The people there are trustable....more trustable then I am, quite frankly. And take my car, it's the blue four door sedan parked near the second elevator downstairs. They probably have an APB out for you already, taking your car would be suicide. I just hope you didn't do what their saying...cause if you did, were both quite fucked. Now get out of here. I'll say I saw you going down the other way."
With that, Pierce took off, gun still pulled, and made down the staircase, acting as if he were still following Odin.
The Serpent bowed to the Boss. "Sir, yes sir. The girl has been dropped off in the palace grounds, as ordered. She's still alive, but her back is broken. Any other orders?"

He pressed the button for the comissioner. "Commisioner, I want you to find Odin. He's threatened me and my employees. I'm an honest businessman."

The chief and the other drew their guns, but the attacker was nowhere to be seen. The surrounding officers were ordered to search for the man whilst the small group attented to Odin. Tyr stepped forward to catch him as he fell.
Odin flinched as the sharp blade entered him, leaking the deadly poision into his body. He could already feel the effects. His heart was pumping harder, he was beginning to fever and the area around the wound was completely numb.
Odin lay on his back, his life slowly seeping from him. He indicated to Tyr, to come forward so he could tell him something. In a struggled few words, he spoke in a hushed tone.
"The Comissioner is the mole.... He set us up....."
His eyes began to glaze over as the poision reached his brain, slowly shutting down the vital organs of his body. Head resting on the ground, Odin awaited death. It was over for him. There was nothing more he could do, and so he placed his faith in the three new officers and his close friend, the Chief.
Finally, Odin fell into darkness, never to return to this world. The small party merely stood there, looking at the lifeless figure of Odin. Tears could be seen upon the cheeks of all those present. Today, one of their best had died.
Tyr remained silent, a mixture of depsair and rage burning behind his eyes. Odin's death would not go unavenged. They would pay, and he knew exactly who to start with.

Pierce watched as the ambulance drove off, it's sirens off. Odin had been long dead when it arrived.
Turning away, he leaned back against the car. The cheif was taking reports from the forensics team, and a group of about fifty officers was searching the nearby area, while the six IA detectives Pierce had convinced to watch over the meeting were all clumped together, speaking in low voices.
Pierce would of loved something to do, but the crime scene tape was up, and the press was being taken care of. Which meant he had no purpose. He could go search for the killer, but Pierce remembered his first meeting with the man, and didn't bother trying to find him. It would be impossible.
Suddenly, one of the six detectives walked over to Pierce. "Look, we've decided to launch an investigation into your department. Someone had to be involved on the inside. We don't know who yet, but let me assure you, we'll get him."
Even as the man said it, Pierce saw the commisioners car pull up. "There's no need to find out who. It's him. And I'll take care of it myself."
Pierce started to pull his gun, but the IA detective slammed him against the car. "Like hell you will. Look, we can get him..and shooting him won't help our cause. I'm asking you, very kindly, to either work with us, or get out of the way. But please, don't screw yourself over. You want a ride out of here?"

The captain lowered his gun slightly. Action was not going to be the way to solve this. He motioned for the luitenant, and the officer at the other end of the hallway, to do the same. They were the only one's who had responded thus far....the station was still nearly empty as most of the department investigated Odin's death.
"Tyr, Pierce..talk to me guys. What the hell is going on here? And where the hell it Odin? You guys are always sticking around him." the Captain asked. He was more inclined towards finding out why two new, dedicated officers would take their commisioner hostage then he was inclined towards shooting them.
As the captain finished talking, a sergeant rounded the corner. Immediatly, the luitenant ordered him to lower his gun. "I dont' want anyone else coming up here, sergeant. We can handle this." the captain said.

"Indeed. You must make sure this never happens again. You want some?"

There was a soft dripping sound in the holding cells. The commisioner sat on a bench, his eyes rolled back inside his head. Blood came from his slashed wrists.
Above him was the sign of Lokii, and sitting next to him was a scorpion.

The echo of footsteps filled the hallway as a guard entered the holding cell chambers bearing food for the commissioner. When he came upon the cell, all that could be heard were curses and the clattering of the food tray. The officer frantically grabbed his radio.
"We've got a problem here. The commissioner is dead. Looks like he slit his wrists........."

Pierce had returned to the station after giving Tyr a ride home only to see the place in chaos. Running over to the desk sergeant, he asked what was up.
"The commisioner killed himself it seems." the sergeant said.
Pierce blanked. "Suicide." he repeated. The sergeant nodded. Pierce walked over to the staircase, and walked down to the holding cell level. A bunch of normal and IA detectives were standing about arguing while a CSI unit took pictures and fingerprints. He recognized one of the detectives, and walked up to him. "What the hell happened, Tim?"
The detective shook his head. "I knew we should have transferred him to the IA holding cells. We could have kept watch on him...but hell, no one could have none he was taht depressed." the detective looked back at the commisioner. "Poor bastard, probably realized all the shit he'd done, and decided that ending it would be best."
"What about the investigation?" Pierce asked.
Tim frowned. "Well, we've been investigating the companies listed in his transfer book for quite awhile now, and haven't gotten much. I'm trying to get a warrant for the shipping company, as well as the bank. Of course, the corporation (OOC: Sorry, forgot name) is who we really want to look at. But we don't have the evidence to go after them just yet, just their sub-companies."
"Oh well. When are you guys going to raid the bank and shipping co.?" Pierce asked.
"Sometime tommorow." Suddenly, a detective walked up, and Tim's frown lightened. "Well, we got the shipping company warrant, but the bank...we'll be able to get the bank later, once we find evidence in the shipping co. Look, I know you and Tyr knew Odin well...if you guys want in on the raid..."
"Yea, I think we will. Or, at least, I will. I'll ask Tyr about it tommorow."
"Alright. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go fill out the paperwork on what happened to the commisioner. Damnit, I wish I'd gotten a chance to talk to him before he killed himself."
With that, Tim walked away. Pierce stayed for a few minutes, watching the CSI unit, then left. He had work to do.

Calis and Calin sat in the waiting room whilst Karolyn underwent surgery. It had been several hours and still no word, the brothers had not left the seat the whole time. Finally a exhausted looked doctor emerged and approached the pair.
"Miss Von Klyne will live, but there is extensive damage to her back. I'm afraid she will not walk again. There was nothing we could do."
Calin shook with a mixture of despair and anger, unleashing his emotion into the wall with several fists. Calis merely sighed.
"They will pay for this. It ends now."
The president walked off to the side and withdrew his mobile.
"James. I want you to get onto all the commissioners of every capital city and have them send us their best officers for an undefined period. We're gathering an army and stomping out these criminals."

Pierce rushed over, grabing Odin as he fell to the ground. "What happened!" he yelled, but Odin only shook his head. Odin started trying to say something, but all that came out was this strange ringing noise...
Pierce woke up with a startle, deep in a cold sweat. Next to his bed, in his apartment, the phone was ringing. Pulling himself off the bed, he picked it up. "Yea?" he said tiredly, not trying to hide the anxiousness in his voice.
"Pierce, it's Tim. I need you to call Tyr, and I need you both down here. My detectives watching the warehouse just reported a lot of movement, it looks like their loading up everything in preperation for our raid tommorow. Problem is, I don't have enough trustable officers with us, so I need you two to come. I'll meet you in the armory at the station...tell no one what is going on."

Pierce walked into the hallway leading to the armory and the locker rooms and found it....empty. Utterly empty. Of course it was mid shift, so this wasn't suprising...but somehow he'd expected people here. Walking down the hall, he opened the door to the armory and found the room, again, deserted. Which scared him.
Someone was always supposed to be in the armory. Period. Then, on the desk, Pierce saw the note. "In the bathroom. Be back in five minutes. If you want to check out weaponry, go ahead." It was signed by some officer whom Pierce assumed was the armory watcher for the midnight shift.
Looking around, he again saw nothing. Then, suddenly, he heard something. Turning around, Pierce saw Tim standing there, having appeared out of nowhere into the middle of the room. He always did that. Ever since he was nine. Looking at his brother, Pierce smiled. "Tyr showed yet?" he asked.
Tim shook his head. "Na. But we can wait." He was dressed in full body guard with an assault rifle in his hands and had a few other pistols obviously on him. "Grab some stuff for yourself. It's going to be a fully armed raid. There were only a dozen or so officers watching, but because of all of these arrivals from other cities, we've got around fifty officers sitting in trucks a couple blocks away, in SWAT garb, waiting. As soon as us four arrive, we're going to move in."
"Four?" Pierce asked.
"Three counting me you and Tyr, and my partners waiting in the car upstairs."
Walking over to the gunrack, Pierce realized it was...empty. Tim hadn't been lying. The majority of the equitment in the room had been signed out. Luckily, the backup boxes still had some stuff left. Pierce started putting the body armor on. He'd already decided that, in addition to a group of desert eagles and beretta's, he'd carry an MP5 (holstered), and use the only CAR-15 left as his main weapon. Turning around, he searched the room again. The officer had come back from the bathroom, but Tyr wasn't here.
"Where the hell is he?" Pierce asked. Tim shrugged.

"Well, you remember Johnson's Shipping Co.? The company that was all over the commisioner's books? We got a warrant for it last night, and planned to raid it today. However, the officers we have watching the area have seen a lot of movement in the last hour...specifically, a large number of 18-wheelers entered the warehouse. It looks like they found out about the warrant and are trying to get ride of the evidence. Thereby, were raiding the place. But we gotta get over there fast, before any of the trucks leave." Tim said, looking at his watch a couple of times while he spoke.
Pierce smiled. "The people watching the warehouse also saw the man who killed Odin entered it. Looks like we'll finally get this guy."

Driving in, it didn't take Pierce long to see the group of five officers standing around a car across the street. From the warehouse, they couldn't be seen, but from where he was driving, who and what they were was obvious.
Tim pulled his car to a stop in the small alley, and Tyr and Pierce stopped. Pierce stayed in his car, and watched as Tim, Tyr, and another of the officers talked. Then Tim nodded towards him, and, grabbing his radio, sent out the call for the raid.

"Roger that Assault team two. Dispatch to all units in the area of 35th and Clamore...."

Pierce nodded, and, stepping forward, slammed the three foot long rammer into thet door, causing it to not only open, but fall off its hinges. He jumped back as the other five members of the team, led by Tim, ran into the small hallway, then pickup up his own gun and followed.
Immediatly once inside, Pierce saw Tim and his partner split off to the left, and then the other two officers that had been staking out the area split into the room on the right. That left Tyr and him the main hallway in front of him.
"You wanna lead?" Pierce asked.

Tyr looked over to Pierce and indicated they should lob a grenade in each.

Pierce nodded, and pulled two devices off his belt. One was a grenade, the other a flashbang, leaning out carefully, he chucked the grenade past Tyr into the room. As soon as it went off, he chucked the flashbang into the room, and the ran in himself.
In front of him was a scene of total destruction. The small room, which was obviously designed to be a secretorial office, was in ruins. About seven men were lying on the ground, and another two (who'd gotten to cover before the grenade exploded) were bothing standing behind the overturned desk, hands on their heads.
None of this was what really concerned Pierce. It was the fact that there was a door on the wall to the right of him...a door which leaded to a room that didn't exist, according to the blueprints.
Keeping his attention on the two surrendurees, Pierce slightly turned his head to see Tyr. "Give me your handcuffs, I'll need to get these guys down before we can go any further."

"You guys know the combo?" he asked. Neither responded. Obviously, they didn't. Stepping back, Pierce fired his assault rifle into the lock, causing the door to fly open. Stepping inside, Pierce found a nice little office..no boxes, just a desk in the middle of the room. Empty, as a matter of fact.
Turning, Pierce saw a second door. Again, not in the blueprints. How they were able to fit these rooms in, he didn't know, but then again, he really didn't care. Moving to the door, he motioned for Tyr to lead into the second room...
OOC: ...where the scorpion is waiting.
The Scorpion smiled as Pierce entered the room. "At last we meet, officer. For the first time, for the last time..." He flung out his hand, and sent Pierce flying into the wall.

Grabbing his flashbang and frag grenade, Tyr set the timers, the flashbang slightly shorter than the frag and pulled the pins. The clunk could be heard all around the room as the two grenades bounced into the presence of the Lokii henchmen.

"Roger that. Area seems clear dispa---" As the large explosion cut Tim off, he looked back at the warehouse from the squad car he'd been radioing in from...and watched as a large spout of flames came out of the roof above the main storeroom. Just then, his radio crackled, and he heard a call of assistance...a repeat call from Pierce, he realized. The storage crates must have been blocking the transmission from getting through, but with the roof now..well...no longer there, things would be easier.
"Copy that Pierce. All available units, we have officers in danger, repeat, officers in danger, main store room. SWAT Tems two and three, pull back and move into the room, SWAT team one continue helping with arrests. Dispatch, we need more medical and fire units at emergency area 1." The warehouse had been declared an emergency area after about twenty minutes of heavy gunfire, and with the explosion would probably be declared a disaster zone soon.
As a flurry of "Copy that"s and "responding"s came back through the radio, Tim put the radio back in his belt, and took off at full speed towards the main storeroom, followed by a large group of officers. In the backround, he could hear more police cars, ambulances, and now a group of fire trucks rushing speeding towards the building, sirens blaring.

Tyr smiled, still possessing a sense of humour even in his condition.
"To be honest, I'm not too fond of them. But I don't think I have a choice in the matter. And yourself?"

Many officers began taping off the warehouse as the explosion had drawn the attention of the public. Fire trucks could be heard a few streets away and many apprehended criminals looked back upon their former hideout.
It wasn't quite over yet. There was still the matter of the company linked with this crime ring, but that would be handled be the Feds.
OOC: This will be finishing soon. A few more posts, one from Roania and it should be done. I may do an AP3, depends on what I can come up with.

As the medics loaded Tyr into the ambulance, Pierce climbed in next to him. It really did seem like it was finally over. At last. Sitting down, Pierce looked around. "You know, your probably right. Of course, I could always have them just take us down to the precinct's medical room."

Tyr grinned, even though it hurt to use those muscles.
"That sounds better to me. I've always said there's nothing that place can't fix."
The paramedics didn't argue, even though it went against their better judgement to do so, they began a course towards the station.
OOC: Indeed. More people would have made it much better.
Roania, time to post!

OOC: Alright, pardon me for doing this, but the threads died, and I'd like to bring some closure to it before it's completly forgotten. I gotta say, this was a really great RP, and it was nice doing it with all of you. We should really try this again, with more people on both sides.

Assington Federal High Security Prison
"Open C-12."
"C-12 Open"
The guard didn't even bother taking out his nightstick as the prisoner in C-12 stood. The man, in his late fifties, had been in charge of one of Assinton's greatest gangs. Yet, here he was, old and fat, sitting in a jail cell in the Assington Federal High Security Prison. As the man stood, he smiled to the guard, and, allowing hand cuffs to be put on him, went to talk to his lawyer about getting his 1024 year sentence for rackateering shortened.

Assington City Police Station
The new officer walked inside, and, looking around, realized exactly how lost he was. He wish his academy instructors had been more specific on where to meet here. Walking up to the main desk, he smiled. "Er...where do the new recruits go?"
The man smiled, and pointed over to a desk in the next room, saying, "Good luck on your first day."
The recruit thanked him, and walking over to the desk, looked at the man behind it inquisitively. "Is this where the new recruits go?"
The man nodded, but waved the new recruit salut that immediatly came. "Your the first here, so why don't ya sit down. There's a few more I think." And as the officer sat back, Pierce couldn't help but think...
"What goes around comes around."
And, two floors below him, as Tyr loaded his backup weapon, and saw a lost recruit wandering the hall ways (as he had on his first day), he had the same exact thought. Three blocks from there, in the Internal Affairs office, the last orders for the last arrests of bad cops associated with Omega corps were made. And so ended the first adventure of two of Assington Police's finest officers.
Meanwhile, in a grave marked "Unkown.", followed by a date of death and projected date of bearth, the scorpions body, or at least what hadn't decomposed. And so ended the story of his life.

OOC: Almost forgot about this.
IC: With Omega Corp completely shutdown in Assington, this chapter of Tyr's police work was finally over. His now official partner, Pierce, was taking the new recruits today whilst Tyr had taken a few hours off to remember his senior officer.
Odin's grave lay before him, the only comment read KIA. They had beaten the criminals, but at a high price indeed. Many had paid for such with their lives and Tyr new Omega still existed outside of Assington, but that was beyond him. Sighing softly, the officer got back into his car and headed back to the station.
