OOC: Ok.Those that are involved know who they are. Others are welcome but they must be decent characters. Roania will be playing the organised criminal organisation, but others can play members of that org. There is room for police officers, criminals and civilians.

And you must fairly available as these things tend to move quickly.

And so we return to Diamond City, Assington.

Odin burst through the doors of the APD HQ, heading straight for his desk. The boss had given him the morning off as he had to wait for the newbie officers and show them around. Odin didn't mind this, but he would rather be out on patrol. He had the feeling something big was happening in the criminal world, but he couldn't place his finger on it.

Jimmy sat in the back of the bar, draining his glass of beer. He waited until all everyone was transfixed on the rugby game before he struck. The moment came. As everyone cheered the imminent try by the Diamond City team, Jimmy lifted every single wallet and purse in the room. No one noticed as they floated through the air, inches from the ceilling and made their way towards Jimmy. Once they were all positioned appropriately, Jimmy allowed them to fall into a large suitcase next to his person.

Jimmy laughed at how easy things had become. With his new training, it was even easier to make an income. He quickly plucked pin codes and account numbers as he left the bar and made his way down the street.

Several men watched him. "He's trying to cheat us, boss." The thugs said into a radio.

A cold voice came forth. "Grab him." The men moved out, and grabbed Jimmy. "Young man, we would like a word."

He laughed inside his head.

I don't think so....

Jimmy unleashed a wave of mental energies, stunning them men that surrounded him. Immediately he sprinted off into the darkness, weaving through alleys and side streets. Jimmy didn't stop running until he was sure he had lost his pursuers.

Can't a thief do his job in this place?

The soldiers wheeled. "He's going down an alley."

"Very well. Spread his description. Get the Serpent onto him."

<<<That night, a cloaked man, carrying a portable, and highly illegal Chaos Shield, grabbed Jimmy by the neck>>>

"Lokii wants a word with you..."

Jimmy was not going to take this. He did not go through all that training just to be pushed around by a few organised criminals.

"Too bad. I don't want a word with Lokii."

This time Jimmy unleashed an intense field of telekinetic power, engulfing the immediate area. The man was sent spiralling through the air and into a brick wall.

Without another word, Jimmy took to the air and headed for his remote cave.

The man pulled himself up, and took off after the boy. "You might be able to avoid a few street toughs... but the Serpent is a different matter." The man said, in a thick Roanian accent. He pulled out a silent pistol and opened fire.

OOC:....... Jimmy is flying. Quite quickly. One of his telekinetic powers.

IC: Jimmy noticed several bullets whizzing passed him. He kicked on the gas and rose even higher.

Things had been strange tonight. Jimmy began to think about Lokii. Some sort of crime boss. He wasn't too concerned at the moment, all that mattered was getting home again.

Odin continued to wait the arrival of the newbies. He was hoping to find a decent one among the group. He hadn't had a partner since Nikki had left Assington.

OOC: So's the Serpent. Roanians that demonstrate psychic powers get exiled or burned as witches.

As Elrond Culnámo entered police HQ, he saw a man pacing up and down but ignored him and walked over to the receptionist. "Good morning," he said, "Where are the new recruits supposed to go?"

OOC: k. Now you're taking on the 2nd most powerful in Assington! :P

IC: It took Jimmy a few moments to realise that this guy was also flying. Jimmy turned around, erecting a shield around himself.

"I suggest you leave me be. I have no quarral with you and am simply going about my business. Do not try me."

Jimmy's dark hair hung over his face, making him look more sinister. The energy within him began to surge in anticipation of a release.

"Jimmy, lad! There's no longer room for the independent businessman..." The Serpent said, smirking. "Lokii is here... and we want you to join us..." He flew closer. "Think on it, lad! Fine dining, wages... women..."

Jimmy thought on this for a moment. He had never been part of a syndicate before.

"I see. I'll come with you and check things out."

Jimmy waved his hand.

"Lead the way."

As Elrond Culnámo entered police HQ, he saw a man pacing up and down but ignored him and walked over to the receptionist. "Good morning," he said, "Where are the new recruits supposed to go?"

OOC: You missed him...

IC:

The Serpent led Jimmy to a dark place, in the sewers of Assington City. "Here we are, boy. Now, remember. Once you enter the base of Lokii, you may leave only as one of us."

Jimmy nodded and waited for the Serpent to lead the way.

The receptionist looked up at Elrond.

"See that tall, blonde guy pacing. He's takin the newbies."

The doors slid open, revealing a large, gilded hall. On the far wall are the symbols of the 3 largest criminal organisations in Assington. Over them all is an image of a flame burning. Several guards walk over. "Who's the boy?"

"This boy has some of the best raw talent I've ever seen. The boss said to gather together the independents. Soon, we shall own Assington."

Jimmy looked around the room. This was a big surprise to him.

He knew of these three major crime syndicates..... but their merging was news to him.

He laughed to himself as he imagined the trouble the police are going to have.

"Welcome to Lokii's, lad." A tall, slightly rounded man entered the hall.

Around him, dozens of thieves, men, women, and child, snapped to attention. "You may call me... Boss." He turned around. "When I came to these shores, Assington was chaos. Criminals working against eachother rather than their real enemy. I ended that."

Jimmy looked at the 'Boss' and the respect he commanded.

"You've done wonders with the place. I leave for a year or so and things have completely changed."

He strode over. "Yes, well, one does one's worst." He turned to Jimmy. "Now, lad... the question is, are you with us? Or against us?"

Jimmy took one more look around the thief filled room.

"After careful consideration I've decided to join you. And I get the feeling I wouldn't like the other choice anyway."

Jimmy flashed his perfect teeth.

"Good choice lad, good choice." The Boss snapped his fingers. "Tina, take this young man to the dorms. Get him settled in."

An attractive young woman walked over and smiled at Jimmy.

"Hello there."

Shawn runs into the HQ "Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t." He sits down at his desk, "I'm late again."

Odin walks over to Shawn.

"Nice to see you up nice and early. Have fun last night?"

"It's all ways fun, I just should try to get more sleep next time." He yawns, and looks through some papers. "So, what's new on the streets today?"

Odin takes a seat.

"I haven't been out yet, I've got newbie duty. But I can't shake the feeling something is going on."

"Me too." He rubs his eyes, then looks down at his papers, "Screw work today, I'm going to go see my wife and kid."

((I hope I got that right when our characters had there child))

Pierce Broskin walked into the police station, and turning to the receptionist, asked a simple question, "where do us newbs go?"

"See that tall, blonde guy pacing. He's takin the newbies". She said

"Alright, thanks" he answered, and walked over to the man. "Um...I'm Officer Broskin, I believe I'm suppost to report to you?

uh, which guy is pacing?

OOC:so can I enter I did not sign up last time?

OOC: Odin is they guy pacing. He is now at Shawn's desk.

Leemaria, you can join. You can be a cop, a civilian or a criminal. If you're a criminal, you're either an independent or part of the syndicate. In that case you should talk to Roania (Lokii)

IC: Odin looked up at Broskin.

"Ah, they're starting to arrive."

Odin stood up and extended his hand.

"Hi, I'm Odin. I'll be showing you guys around. I suggest you take a seat until the others arrive."

Odin pulled up another seat.

"Good choice lad, good choice." The Boss snapped his fingers. "Tina, take this young man to the dorms. Get him settled in."

An attractive young woman walked over and smiled at Jimmy.

Jimmy returned the smile.

"Hello there."

As Tina led Jimmy down to the dorms, walking seductively, the boss chuckled. If he wasn't ours before, he is now. Clapping his hands, he bade the thieves depart. Then he turned and went to an elevator.

The Boss entered a private office in the highest of Assington City's many skyscrapers. He pressed a button. "Ms. Katz, please inform the Police Commisioner I would be honored to make that donation he suggested..."

Police Commisioner Asandir picked up his phone.

"Hello. Ah, excellent. Tell the big man things shall work out for all of us."

Jimmy followed Tina into the dorms.

"Nice place you have here."

The boss smiled, and turned on the tv. "And wealthy philanthropist, Fred Durst, has given 1 million dollars to a local orphanage."

"Really?"

Jimmy grinned.

"Well, it's ok. But you make things a lot better."

"Me too." He rubs his eyes, then looks down at his papers, "Screw work today, I'm going to go see my wife and kid."

((I hope I got that right when our characters had there child))

Maria gets out of bed and proceeds to feed the baby some baby-mash food. Off to work already.... she thought.

"I'll come back later Odin, I'm going to help Maria today." He sticks some papers in his desk, "See ya." He leaves, taking out his cell phone, and calls home. "Hey baby."

"Wah!"

(What's his/her name?)

Odin waved.

"Ok. I'll see you later."

He turns to Broskin.

"So where are you from?"

"Wah!"

(What's his/her name?)Shawn holds the phone away from his head, and shouts into the phone, "Maria?"

((Hmm.....What was your characters friend? We could say we named her after her.))

"Hey Shawn, nice to hear you. Dana was on the phone. Sorry. anyway, when will you be back?"

"I'm coming home for a while. I should be there in 10 minuets." He gets in his car and begains to drive.

Maria unlocks the door, waiting for Shawn.

Shawn pulls up to the house, and walks in side.

"Hi!"
She drops the baby and hugs him.

He hugs her back, and catches the baby, "Hey honey."

Broskin shook Odin's hand, and answered his question "I'm from right around here actually, over on Fifth....um...am I the only one here so far? Oh yeah, and here's my file" Broskin handed Odin his file, which was quite empty. There was some stuff about where he was from, year of birth, and a civilian commendation a year ago for attacking and taking down an armed bank robber. That was about it. He had scored rather high in the academy, and had specifically requested to be assigned to this division, despite the department's saying he'd fit in better in Internal Affairs.

Odin quickly looked over the file.

"Yeh, you're the only one so far. Take a seat whilst we wait for the others. So why did you request this division?"

OOC: Anyone else interested in playing a new cop?

"Well, maybe now you can help me with that private investigator course I signed up for."

Jimmy sat down on the nearest, unclaimed bed.

"So, Tina. How did you end up here?"

Jimmy grinned.

"Well, it's ok. But you make things a lot better."

Tina smirked. And then slapped him. "If that's what you want, go to the whore level. I'm a thief, and I'll thank you not to forget it."

Jimmy attempted to get out of the way but was not quick enough. Rubbing his cheek, Jimmy spoke.

"Hey, calm down. I wasn't suggesting anything. So, is there anything I should know besides being ready to duck?"

"Sure baby." He kisses Maria on the cheek then smiles at her. "Now, give me some info about this job."

"I guess I wanted to work with normal people, not just cops, as Internal Affairs does", answered Broskin "And as I live around here...well, it just seemed logical. After all, I'm familiar with the area and the people. I'm also familiar with how bad this area has gotten recently, and that's mainly why I joined the force....to clean up this area. So when I got the chance to request a division...I requested this one."

"Fair enough. Things do get interesting. And there is definately something going on recently."

OOC: Could we get 1 more person to play a cop?

Elrond walked over to where Odin and the other newb were standing and introduced himself

"Been a bit quite lately, huh?" Officer Allman asked, "Well?"
"Look homes it wasn't me!" a short teen wearing a beanie was sitting in back of his car.
"That's what they all say. That's what they all say," Allman scrached his neck.
"Okay. Look bro, it was all me. The entire thing was my idea, right?"
"Really? Well only an innocent man would confess." Allman got out of the car and opened the back door. The teen in back got out. "Turn around." He unlocked the handcuffs. "Wow man. Thanks."
"Just doing my job." Officer Allman tipped his hat as the monorail roared over his head. "Just doing my job." He sat back into his car and slamed the door and started the engine.

"Fair enough. Things do get interesting. And there is definately something going on recently."

"Hey, I'm Odin. I'll be showing you guys around today. I think you're the only two new guys this morning. Shall we begin?"

"Hello. Er, I'm ready if you wan't to start sir, but it's up to you." answered

A black clothed figure carefully began to cut its way into the Assington museum. Carefully judging opening times, he had chosen when the guards would be out.

He slid carefully into the room containing the treasure he sought. The largest diamond in Assington.

A guard walked in. "Hey! What are you doing?"

He drew out a silenced pistol, and shot the guard before the sentence had finished. Then, he sliced open the case, put the diamond in his pack, and sprayed the pistol with a chemical mixture to clean fingerprints off.

Leaving the pistol by the guard, and taking the guard's own pistol, he left the building.

Odin got up.

"Ok guys. First of all we'll go see the chief and get you your badges."

Odin led the two men across the room, weaving between desks and other working people until he finally reached a door with CHIEF printed on it. He didn't bother knocking as he walked in.

"Chief. The new guys are here and they need their badges."

The chief looked down over the newbs.

"Ok. Care to introduce yourself fellas?"

"Well, I'm Elrond Culnámo."

The chief looked over Elrond.

"Nice to meet you Elrond. I run this station, so think of me as your boss."

The chief rummages around in his desk for a few seconds. Finally he pulls out an electronic badge and chucks it to Elrond.

"There you go. Don't lose it, you'll need it a lot."

After sitting around, talking to Tina for a while, Jimmy was getting restless.

"So.... am I confined to this place or can I go roaming the streets?"

A short security guard idly wanders down a corridor of the Diamond City Museum. As he turns the corner he comes across the lifeless body of his work mate.

"Shit!"

He immediately rushes to the alarm and triggers it before getting in his radio. As he looks around the room, he notices the lack of huge diamond.

"Shit Shit Shit!"

After sitting around, talking to Tina for a while, Jimmy was getting restless.

"So.... am I confined to this place or can I go roaming the streets?"

Tina brushed his hair. "What would you like to do? There's a rota, I suppose I could put you on it."

Allman was on 5th and Farley. He had to respond to a domestic conflict. "Good night Miss. Randel," he waved good bye to Miss. Randel. She reported kids were throwing rocks at her window. It turned out birds were flying into her into it. He took a long look at the museum across the street. He felt something was wrong.

Tina brushed his hair. "What would you like to do? There's a rota, I suppose I could put you on it."

"Well, I would like to get outside. Perhaps go for a fly."

Now that the museum alarm was triggered, it could be heard all around the suburb.

"Ahh! My ears!" Allman grabbed his head. He then shook it off and ran across the street to the museum.

The museum gaurd sat in the corner, looking at his friend. Or what was left of him.

Several police cars skidded to a halt outside the musem. The occupants left the vehicle and ran inside, alongside Allman.

"What the heck happened here?" Allman managed to wheaze out.

One of the cops looked over to Allman.

"We got word from a security gaurd that the largest diamond had been stolen and another gaurd is dead."

They sped around the corner to find themselves directly infront of the corpse.

Tina brushed his hair. "What would you like to do? There's a rota, I suppose I could put you on it."

"Well, I would like to get outside. Perhaps go for a fly."

"Fly? Well..." All of a sudden, a siren broke out throughout the compound. "Someone stole something big. Let's go."

"Ewww! Good God!" Allman shouted. Allman gave the guard two light kicks with his foot. "Some one..uhh..call an ambulence."

Jimmy whistled as he followed Tina.

"You guys keep a close watch on everything don't you?"

"Pierce Broskin, pleasure to meet you" answered Broskin (jese thats kind of awkward).

Jimmy whistled as he followed Tina.

"You guys keep a close watch on everything don't you?"

"We have too... oh, my." They had arrived in the hall.

In a spot of importance, the diamond sat, the thief being congratulated.

"Ewww! Good God!" Allman shouted. Allman gave the guard two light kicks with his foot. "Some one..uhh..call an ambulence."

The security gaurd got up from the corner and walked over to the cops.

"Already done. He's already dead though."

The chief looked down at Pierce.

"Good to have you on board. This thing counts as your ID, a keycard and does several other useful things."

The chief passes Broskin his electronic badge.

Jimmy gawked at the massive diamond.

"Wow. That's a big rock. I was once in the position where I was going to get myself one of those. But things change."

A tall, dark haired man ran into the police station. He arrived at the receptionists desk, puffing.

"I'm.... a new.... recruit."

The receptionist looked up at him.

"You're a little late. Go into that office on the far side of the room with CHIEF printed on the door."

The man nodded.

"Thanks."

He continued towards the door.

Jimmy gawked at the massive diamond.

"Wow. That's a big rock. I was once in the position where I was going to get myself one of those. But things change."

"Really?"

Jimmy nodded.

"Yep.... after I left Assington. But I ran into a big distraction. Or it ran into me. So I got dragged back here."

"Great. Yet another piece of electronic sh!t." Elrond muttered under his breath.

"Sure baby." He kisses Maria on the cheek then smiles at her. "Now, give me some info about this job."

"Well, in short, if I do the test well this afternoon I get to become a private investigator. We might even end up working together!"

Maria looks at her watch.
"Only a few hours left, come on, how do I answer this question?"

"What's the question?"

"So, uh, what's this for?"

The chief sighed.

"I just explained that to both of you."

Before he could continue a tall, dark man burst through the door.

"Sorry I'm late. Ran into a few distractions. I'm Tyr."

The chief frowned over at Tyr.

"I see. Try to be on time from now on."

The chief passed another electronic badge to Try.

"This is your electronic badge. It is a small computer console that acts as your badge, passport, ID, key to the garrage and other police advantages. It also has a map of the city built into it. Take some time to learn how to use it and don't lose it!"

Tyr looked down at the rectangular console.

"Thanks."

Finally, Odin spoke.

"Ok then. Time to assign your lockers."

Odin lead the others out of the chief's office.

Jimmy moved closer to the giant stone, circling as he admired it.

"So he managed to pull this off?

Two parademics burst into museum to find the police standing slightly away from the bloodied corpse. They pulled out a body bag and place it on the stretcher.

"What's the question?"

"I have to memorize this. Come on, the exam is in an hour!"

"I think it's 9mm."

OOC: Sorry, internet went out for a couple days. Doesn't seem to have hurt my rp much though. Oh yeah, I'd like to be able to call Odin something other than "Sir" or "Mr. Odin" or simply "Odin". Does he have a first name? What's his rank?

"Pleasure to meet you Tyr. I'm Pierce Broskin" said Broskin, shaking Tyr's hand. As the left the cheif's office, following Odin, Broskin was already fooling with his Badge, trying to find every use for it. After all, better to have an advantage now then later.

OOC: Corporal Odin, I think. Maybe Sargeant.


"Oh, yes, Jimmy. Times are changing..."

OOC: I'm getting an urge to write 'The Hand' after Jimmy.

IC: A few days passed, and then one day the thieves assembled in the hall. "Brothers, I come here today to pass judgement on one of our kin, who has broken one of the laws I enacted for our own safety." The Boss began, holding a man by the neck. "He has killed 3 children. Now the police will be after him, and I see no reason to defend him."

He turned to the crowd. "Anyone want to say anything in his defense? No?" He slammed the man into a wall. An audible snapping sound could be heard. "Now, our next target is simple. Tina, you and Jimmy will do it."

Jimmy grinned.

"Ah. Finally I get to do something."

OOC: Fight the urge. We're in a different age here....

OOC: Odin is his first name. I'll chuck in a corporal if you want it

IC: Tyr shook Broskin's hand as they left the office.

"So what are we doing now?"

Odin grinned.

"I get to show you guys all the pretty toys we have, and assign you a locker. Follow me."

Odin made is way to the elevator at the back of the room.

"Okay."

Odin and the others stepped out of the elevator and into a large room with several doors on the side.

"This is the training level. There's a gym, weapons training and simulations as well as some other stuff. The lockers are down there, next to the armoury."

Odin lead the others through the room, passed several officers and into the male locker room.

"Which are ours?" asked Broskin, who was curious as ever. This had been his first time in a police station since he had been brought in and interviewed about the bank robbery last year.

Odin looked around the room.

"You get to pick. Any of them that have an open door. To claim it, all you have to do is scan your badge through the slot and then it will only respond to you or a keycode of your choice."

Elrond walked over and grabbed #89 before anyone could take it.

<TM me when they go on the streets, right?>

OOC: Yep..... once they visit the armoury... they'll be going onto the streets.

It's just a BUMP to the left! So let's do the timewarp again!!

OOC: once the other guy replies...... we can continue

"Thanks Shawn."

She looks at her watch and gives him a kiss.
"It's time to go. Bye"

Shawn gives her a kiss "Bye baby." He goes to the phone to call a baby sitter.

Broskin picked #93, and flicked his badge through the lock. "Alright" he said "what now?".

Odin spoke as he left the room.

"Now we go upstairs and you get issued with your gear and other stuff. Then we'll go for a ride."

Elrond, upon entering the amoury, whistled appreciatively before running and loading himself up with everything he could carry.

Odin checked out the gear Elrond was loading with and made a few changes. He also passed him a standard officers belt, comm helmet and uniform. He also gave the appropriate gear to Broskin.

"Ok then. Go back to the locker room and put that stuff on."

Elrond grumbled, but accepted the changes Odin made to his gear, and then headed back to the locker room to get changed.

Odin grinned as he followed Elrond back to the locker room.

"I know the standard equipment isn't as exciting as some of the other stuff. But you can always come into the training facility and play with the toys. Anyway, I'm sure you'll end up with the oppurtunity to use some of the heavy stuff on duty."

"So, like, when are we going on duty?"

Odin looked at his watch.

"We're going out on a tour of the city as soon as you guys get your gear on."

"So, basically, we're waiting on the slowpokes?"

Odin nodded. Tyr walked out of the locker room, all geared up.

"I'm ready."

Odin called back into the locker room.

"Broskin, what's taking you so long?"

OOC: I fell like an idiot. My computer crashed, had to go up to the local library to use internet. Sorry for falling behind.
IC:
Broskin was at the door, already dressed. "Oh, should have told you, I already finished, was just checking out some of my equitment. So, how does the patrol concept work with four people?".

Odin began to move toward the elevator, motioning for Try, Elrond and Broskin to follow.

"We'll take two patrol cars. Who's the most experienced cop out of you three?"

Shawn walks out of his house, and toward his car. He picks up his phone and calls Odin "Hey, you need help wiht the rookies?"

Odin answers his phone.

"Hey. Sure I could use some help. We're just about to go out on patrol."

"All right. I'll be at the station in a few." Shawn says as he puts his blue military like clothing, and body armuor over it. He gets in his car and begains to drive to the station.

Odin and the officers got in the lift as he hung up.

"We're just going to wait a little while until Shawn gets here."

Shawn pulls up infront of the station and gets out of his car. "Hey Odin. Introduce me to the rookies."

"I'll drive if no one else wants to" answered Broskin.

Odin nods towards Shawn.

"Guys this is Shawn. Shawn that's Tyr, Elrond and Broskin. Shawn you take one car with Tyr. Elrond and Broskin will come in my car."

Odin leads everyone into the car park of the station. Inside there are several marked and unmarked patrol cars, motocycles, a few armoured vehicles and some random cars.

"Ok, I got this one Odin." He jumps in a unmarked car, and signals for Tyr to get in.

Odin gets in another unmarked car a few spaces down and motions for Elrond and Broskin to follow. Odin calls out to Shawn before he gets in.

"We'll do the inner city and the warehouse district."

Tyr jumps into the passenger seat next to Shawn.

"I got ya." He swirves out of the parking space, leaving tire marks behind.

Odin speeds after Shawn, also leaving some fresh marks.

Tyr sits back in his chair.

"So, what are the women like here?"

"They differ." Shawn says as he looks forward on the road "But be more spicific. What do you want to know exactly?"

Tyr grinned.

"Well.... are they easy going or a bunch of Feminazis?"

"Depends where ya go." He laughs "Try clubs, some nice girls are bound to be there." He takes a turn, "But watch it, some times you think you're getting some thing from them, when they get some thing from you."

"I see. This is my first time in Diamond City so I thought I'd make myself familiar with all aspects. So what are the crime rates around here like?"

"I heared about that guy that tried to off you. That would suck."

"Yeah, esically since he went after Maria too." He frowns.

"Damn. There is a risk being associated with cops. You're lucky if you can find someone willing to take it."

"Yeah, she's trying to become a privet investigator now, so I think I may have sparked an interest in her." He turns another time, "But it can be hard, some times I don't see her for a week, and with the baby....." He drifts off.

"I see what you mean. Managing a family and a full time job must be..... challenging."

OOC: I've TG Roania so something will happen soon. Until then we just drive around.

"Yeah, you don't know." He takes another turn, "Just make sure you get a less stressful job for when you get married." He smirks.

Tyr grinned.

"Agreed. I'd rather not have to go home with a bullet inside me."

Broskin had decided to sit in the back seat, allowing Elrond to sit in the passenger seat and Odin (of course) to drive. It had been about two minutes, and the three were conversing about some police-related subjects...and some non-police-related subjects. He enjoyed being in a car, it just seemed natural for him. As he looked around, he suddenly saw a man dart out of a building, yelling and waving. "Guys, should we stop to see what's up with him?", asked Broskin.

Shawn smiled, "Just don't go out thinking your Superman and you'll be fine."

Odin nodded. He got on the radio to Shawn.

"Let's check out that guy running out of the warehouse."

He pulls up on the sidewalk and gets out of the car.

Shawn pulls up infont of the warehouse and thinks to him self "This place looks firmiler."

IC: Tina and Jimmy watched. "Okay... the plan is, you distract them, and I rush into the warehouse and take the blueprints."

Jimmy nodded.

"Gotcha."

Jimmy stumbled out towards the officers. As he drew closer, he planted an image of himself covered in blood inside all of their heads. They all saw Jimmy as a bloodied mess in need of assistance.

Odin looked up to see a bloodied man stumble towards them.

"Ok then. He may need some help."

"I got it Odin." Shawn gets out of the car, and starts to walktward Jimmy. "Sir, you're hurt, let me take you to a hospital"

Jimmy drops to his knees and projects the image of him coughing up blood before passing out.

Odin moves over toward Jimmy.

"Wow, he's pretty banged up."

Tyr couldn't ignore this tingling feeling in the back of his head. Something was telling him it wasn't right. He couldn't pin it so he just dismissed it as his psychic potential popping up again. As he looked over to Jimmy he froze. At first he saw the bloodied man on the ground, then a perfectly fine man idly lying down.

"Ah Shawn. Somethings going on......"

Brosking jumped out of the undercover police car, grabbing the car's first aid kit as he went. As soon as he got over to the man, Broskin took out a patch to try to stop some of the bleeding on a wound on the man's left arm. He had just started applying pressure to the "wound" when Tyr said something wrong. Looking at Tyr, Broskin asked "What do you mean, somethings going on?".

"Yeah some thing's worng, he got hurt some how."

Tyr got out of the car and walked a little closer.

"It's like he's not really.........."

Tyr stopped in mid sentence. Jimmy delved into Tyr's mind, stopping him from pointing out the guise. He forced Tyr to focus on the blood until he was convinced that Jimmy was seriously injured.

"It's nothing. I'm just imagining things......."

"Should I call for an ambulance?" asked Broskin, as he continued trying to heal Jimmy's "wounds".

Odin nodded.

"He's definately going to need help."

"Yeah, go call one now."

Broskin ran back to the car, and grabbed the radio, "Dispatch, this is unit A-23-CB requesting ambulance at 1692 Assren Street. Over".

"Tyr, come with me, we're going to check out the buliding." He draws his gun and gets next to the door. "Odin, you stay with the other rookies, and take car of the kid." Shawn busts in the door, with his gun drawn.

After recieving confirmation from dispatch that an ambulance was coming, Broskin grabbed the first aid kit from the front seat of the car and ran back over. He immediatly began trying to stablize Jimmy, not realizing that he was actually taping up non-real wounds.

OOC: Um, should I call Broskin by his last name, or Pierce by his first?

Shawn looked around the wearhouse, quickly. "This.....Looks firmiler...." He thinks. His eyes suddenly widen. "This is the place. This is where I was shot and where I killed them." He drops to his knees.

Pierce saw Shawn fall to his knees, and thought he might have been attacked. He continued doing emergency revival procedures, but he quickly turned around and said "guys, Shawn just wen't down, shouldn't someone check to see what's up?".

Tina carefully slipped into the warehouse. She began to rummage through the desks, trusting that the guards were all on break.

IC: Tyr got up and followed Shawn. As they entered, Shawn fell to his knees.

"Shawn, what's up?"

Jimmy added a few convulsions for effect, and a little more bleeding.

Shawn layed down on the floor, not speaking.

((This is the same warehouse that he killed the crimeboss, and those thugs, so he's having a break down because he killed 30+ people and he's remembering it))

Tyr rushed to Shawn's side.

"Shawn, what is it?"

He curls up, and doesn't speak.

Tyr isn't quite sure what to do.

"Umm. Shawn, what's wrong?"

He decided to get help. Poking his head out the door, Tyr calls out to Odin.

"Ummm Odin, you better come see this."

Odin looks up sees the expression on Tyr's face.

"Coming."

Shawn sits there with a blank look on his face.

Pierce sat there, applying more bandages, and using all his knowledge of first aid. The problem being that he wasn't that well trained, he had simply taken the extra-credit course at the academy...and hadn't really payed attention in it either. As Odin walked into the wharehouse, Pierce started to worry that he might have to start healing someone else too.
"When's that damn ambulance going to get here?" he asked.

Odin walked in and noticed Shawn sitting on the floor.

"What's wrong?"

Tyr looked puzzled.

"I don't know. He just dropped to his knees and went out of it."

Jimmy decided to slow the bleeding and make it look like Pierce was doing a reasonable job.

The bleeding started to slow, and Pierce relaxed a little. Maybe this guy would survive untill the ambulance got here. Pierce continued applying first aid, and, at that point, could no longer see inside the building.

OOC: Um....when would the ambulance get here? I don't want it to seem too fast, nor to slow. It's your city, Assington, so give me an idea of how good the healthcare is.

Shawn stays still, with the blank look on his face.

OOC: Let's say a road accident is holding the ambulance up. I'm kinda waiting for Roania (Lokii) to do something.

IC: A message came over Odin's head set radio.

"Crap! The ambulance has been held up by an accident. It will be another twenty minutes."

He walked over and sat next to Shawn.

"Tyr, go help the others."

Tyr nodded and went outside.

"Shawn, I know this is the place. But that's in the past. You need to get over it and get on with your life."

Shawn sits there, in emotional shock, with the memory of killing those people, and getting shot plays over and over again in his mind.

Odin sighed.

"You asked for it Shawn."

Odin brought his hand back and slapped Shawn across the face.

"Snap out of it damnit!"

Tina found the documents, and left. She waved to Jimmy. Come on, kid! The boss wants this!

Odin heard movement within the warehouse. Drawing his gun he called out to Tyr.

"Tyr, get in here, there's someone in here."

As Tyr rushed off, Jimmy got up and stood before Elrond and Pierce. The blood disappeared and Jimmy grinned at the two perplexed men.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. I'm fine."

Without another word, he unleashed two heavy mental blasts, knocking both men unconscious. As the officers hit the ground, Jimmy began to make his escape.

Pierce never saw it coming, and was hit full force from within a foot by the blast. It sent him backward and rolling about five feet, and when he'd finally stopped moving, everything was black. For what seemed like an eternity it was like this. Then Pierce woke up. Looking around, he saw Elrond lying unconscious, and an ambulance coasting to a stop. Pulling his gun, Pierce ran over to the car, and broadcasted a description of the suspect he had just been helping. Then Pierce rushed inside.

Just inside the door, Shawn and Odin we're sitting, with Tyr still in sight. Pierce looked at them and said simply "You can call Tyr back. The guy outside was the suspect. He just made for it after knocking us out somehow...I'm not sure how. The paramedics are looking at Elrond, and I already radiod dispatch with a description of the suspect.". Pierce was ready for any insults or disapointment they through at him. He felt it was his fault entirely the man had gotten away.

Shawn gets up, and gets in his car. "Try, come on! Let's go!"

Odin nodded. He approached Elrond.

"How did he knock you guys out?"

Tyr headed over to Shawn's car and jumped in.

"We're going after him." He steps on the peddel, and heads in the same direction that jimmy went.

OOC: Oops, sorry, didn't see your ambulance thing.

Pierce answered "I don't know. He stood up, and suddenly he was no longer bleeding or anything. All the bandages were still on his body, there were simply no injuries. I'm not sure what happened after that. Everything wen't black, and when I woke up, the ambulance was arriving, and you guys were inside."

Tina watched, and then leapt out a back window. "Got... to get to the sewers!" She panted, running in a style that could be called 'very distracting'.

Shawn sees the woman runing, "That's them, lets good." he speeds up at Tina

Tyr nods.

"Let's go!"

The ambulance tended to to Elrond whilst Odin continued to question Pierce.

"He must have been a psychic. A bloody strong one at that."

Jimmy made his way through bushes and behind trees until he met up with Tina.

"Did you get it?"

She pulled out the papers. "Yes! Now, into the sewers... I'll leave something behind for our friends." She put down a smoke-filled container, and leapt down. Tear gas began to waft through the area, and through the closed sewer vents. By that time, however, they were already back Home.

"You're right about that. Must have been extremely strong. The only question being, was he strong enough to kill us, and if he was...would he have if he'd gotten the chance?" said Pierce, who was extremely worried. Telepaths, empaths, etc. were not common in Diamond City. But Pierce had never before seen one so strong, and the only reason he wanted to see one again was to arrest him.
"Should we go after Tyr and Shawn? Pierce asked.

OOC: I don't see why not. But it's not my thread, its Assingtons, so its really up to him.

"Damn! We lost them."

Jimmy followed Tina through the sewers.....

"Good work."

"Psychics are becoming increasingly common within Assington. Although you don't see many here, or at least ones that strong. Do you have any psi potential?"

The boss read the plans. "Excellent... now..." he handed them to The Serpent. "Serpent, get these parts. Now, for the two of you... I want you to kidnap a very prominent citizen."

Jimmy raised his eyebrows.

"How prominent?"

Shawn gets out of his car. "Yeah, they let off a smoke bomb, so we couldn't see them get away."

Odin sighed.

"Bugger."

He called out to the paramedics.

"How's Elrond going?"

"He'll be ok. He's just waking up."

Shawn walked up to Odin, and says in a quite voice that only he can hear, "I'm going to need a break, that wearhouse has bad memorys for me. Can you get the boss to get me a few days off?"

Odin nodded.

"Sure thing buddy."

"Thanks, I'm going to take my little vaction now, so can you take Tyr?

"What the f*ck just happened?"

"No, I'm afraid I have no Psi Potential whatsoever. Never have, and I doubt I ever will. I've always seemed to get along without it though" said Pierce.

Jimmy raised his eyebrows.

"How prominent?"

The boss tapped his fingers to his lips. "If I was to say, the most important business woman in Assington..."

Tyr moved over towards Elrond.

"That injured guy was a distraction, he hit you guys with a psychic blast and took off."

"Fair enough. Shawn and I both have a little ability. I don't know about the others. Anyway, you'll find a few anti-psychic gadgets in your standard gear."

Jimmy searched his mind for who it could be. He didn't usually concern himself with commericial business. Then he remembered an article and grinned.

"A certain foreign business woman?"

The Boss smirked. "Yes... a certain newcomer to our wonderful land..."

"I see. This should turn out interesting."

Shawn gets in his car, "Thanks Odin. See ya later." He pulls out and heads home.

"Oh, ok."

Pierce watched Shawn drive away, then turned to Odin. "What should we do now? Investigate the crime scene or what?"

Odin looked back at the warehouse.

"We should check out that place, then head back to base. We'll have to report this incident."

Odin gets up and heads to the entrance.

"Come on. Fan out once we get in."

"Hi Shawn, your're home early. What's the matter? Guess what, I'm now a Private Investigator!"

She kisses him.

The Serpent snarled wordlessly. Being told to work with a kid. "Allright, runt. Do as I say, and we'll get in there alive."

Jimmy sat down.

"So when are we to do the deed?"

He kissed her back. "Good baby." He sits down on hte couch. "Can I tell you later? I'm going to be home from work for the next week."

When Pierce entered the building, he immediatly fanned out and started walking to the right. No one was in the warehouse from the looks of things, so he didn't pull his gun. He saw an open door into what looked like a small office and so, turning on his flashlight, he walked in. The desk was opened, and it looked like it had been rifled through. He walked back to the door and yelled out, "Odin, you might wan't to look at this. I think someone was looking for something in particular."

Odin walked in and took a look around the office.

"Looks like it. We'll have to find out what was in this place. It seems no one is here now, so lets go."

He headed back out the door and checked on Elrond.

"I should be ok, Odin."

Pierce talked to the two paramedics for a couple minutes just before they got back into their ambulance and drove towards another incident, sirens blazing. He walked back over to Elrond and Odin, and said "Yea, the paramedics say he's fine. Slight cuncussion from hitting the ground, same with me, but we should both be fine." As Pierce said this, he pulled out his badge and started fiddling with it again, "I wonder if this thing has a camera or something. Might have gotten that guy on tape. And if not...I wonder if this thing has a report writing portion...I'd rather do it in the car on the way to the precinct then at the precinct..."

Odin nodded.

"It does have a digital camera. But it doesn't just go off. You can write your report in it. There should be a little touch screem pen in the side."

"Alright, well, if you don't mind, I'm going to start writing. Who drives back? asked Pierce as he started writing a report on what had happened. "Should we crime scene tape the area?"

"No. Forensics should be arriving in a few minutes. Just grab some tape from the area and seal it off. Once they arrive, I'll drive back."

Pierce nodded and began to tape the area off. He disapeared from view as he began to make sure that all other doors to thet wharehouse were closed to prevent anyone from changing anything inside before forensics showed up.

Forensics showed up and began doing their job.

Odin lead Tyr and Elrond back into the car.

"Pierce, lets go."

Jimmy looked up at the boss.

"So when are we pulling this off?"

Pierce got in the back (again), and waited as Elrond and Odin got in. He finshed his report on the way back to the station.

"Corp, do I need to do a report too?"

Odin nodded as they got out of the car, in the station.

"Yep. We all need to do reports."

The Serpent noted the patterns of the guards. "Boy, you're going to distract them while I kidnap the woman. Am I clear? Something goes wrong, get back to Uncle's and tell Boss. Right? Mark!"

OOC: Is Jimmy with the serpant?

Pierce followed him into the station, finishing his report even as they walked in. He used the badge to print a copy (if that's possible), and turned it into a desk sergeant. After he had gotten back one of the three copies the desk sergeant had made, he walked over to Odin's desk, and sat down, wondering what would happen next.

OOC: Is Jimmy with the serpant?

OOC: Damn... yes, he is. Was in a rush.

OOC: Say, you think I could play a second criminal charactor? Assington is playing three, thought I'd ask if I could play more than one. I really don't care that much.

IC: Odin quickly did up his report and handed it into the chief. Once he briefed the boss he returned to his desk.

"Well, we're about to get off soon. None of you have any night duty. So.... any questions?"

Tyr sat quietly on a chair, doing his report.

Jimmy caused the bushes on the far side of the yard to rattle, catching all nearby gaurds' attention.

The guards rushed towards the bushes. The serpent took off, and flew towards the room. "I guess she thought that her precious boyfriend would protect her... well, she's the Boss's prisoner now."

He forced his way into the room. Karolyn looked up. "Hmm? AAH!"

Pierce nodded his head no, and looked at his watch. Only a few minutes and he could go home. Not that he was tired or anything, but he was still recovering from the shock of being knocked unconscious by a nearly dead man. His mind raced with the possibilities of what someone with those powers on the wrong side of the law could do. Turning to Odin, he asked "What time should we be here in the morning?"

Calin sat in the Presidential Palace with his borther, going over foreign policies. None were aware of what was occuring at Karolyn's home.

Jimmy continued to make noises within the bushes. Just enough to keep their attention, but not to warrant an alarm. If things went smoothly, no one would know Karolyn was gone until tomorrow.

The Serpent knocked her out, and left the building. He signalled to Jimmy. Kid, let's move fast! He flickered out of sight.

Odin sat down in his chair.

"Be here at seven. Your badge will have your shifts in it. Sometimes you may have an early morning or a late night shift. But for the next few days, you guys have a standard day shift."

Jimmy nodded. He continued to rustle the bushes whilst he followed the Serpant out of the grounds.

"Alright, then. Seems my shift is over." replied Pierce, while looking over his shifts. "Anything I should do before I head out?"

"You're allowed to take your standard pistol, radio, uniform if you like and your badge home. The rest of your gear has to go in your locker."
