Nearly happened when I did it. But I spoiled it all by turning chicken and fleeing from Melkor's side to Siri's and back and forth again. Besides Melkor had to go on vacation. I learned my lesson. Messing with elves is a serious thing - one way melkor kills you, other way siri does. Currently I'm slightly favoring siri's side, and only tg'd m1lkz0r because I felt like :twisted:

OOC: Melkor, I never said that the ships took off and arrived at my nation in the same post. He had ample time to post that he sent up interceptors and such, he chose not to.

Good strategy, but... the elves are still being processed and haven't been released from the military bases yet. I don't just drop them off and say, 'Okay, you're free. Have fun and don't forget to write!' They go through fulkl exams, including genetic testing, as all my citizens do regularly, to see if there are any genetic illnesses that could be introuduced into the populace.

I know where they are at all times through bioscanners and the bases are well away from cities.

The Reason they call America a "melting pot" is because a lot of the times, when people go there, they do tend to lose some of their ethnicity and become.. well.. American. This is because America has a strong sense of national identity.

I get a little uneasy about attacking nations ever since the Mushroomius-Xolistan War, because as we were about to mount the main invasion of the 5,000,000 population nation, other *bigger* nations, for some reason came to his aid.

Perhaps a represenative from both nations could view the inspection from a neighboring waiting room with glass windows to make sure no funny buisness happens.

No, of course it wouldn't. But then, an elf wouldn't brand a human's forehead and sell him into slavery, either. That is what is at issue here. I sympathize with the Hyborean mortals' plight before their revolution. However, I cannot tolerate how they conducted that revolution.

A small trawler carrying medical supplies attempts to enter Hyperborean waters. The captain looks out at the blockade. "It's a good thing that we are on a mission of mercy, no?"

One of the soldiers speaks into a megaphone. "By order of Empress Sirithril, and his highness Prince Alexander of Roania, this country's ports are closed. Turn around, or face destruction!"

A Roanian Legion GravShip fires a ralley of missiles into the water before the boat. The captain swears. "I am on a mission of mercy! Would you let those children die?"

"Silence, waterliver! You shall not argue with us. We shall send a request to our superiors and ask for further orders. If you are not cleared, you shall turn around." A transmission describing the situation is sent to Menelmacar.

The 5 plane wing taxied, each reaching critical speed to enable take off, one by one.

To their commanders back in C-G, they sent a message.

"This is Alpha one, we have the witnesses and are procedding back to base. We should reach there in a day."

"Roger Roger."

To the blockaiding forces of Roania, this message was sent.

"This is Alpha one, leading 5 planes to pick up witnesses from New Hyborea. We are in our return flight. We are not to be harrassed in anyway as our agreement with Menelmacar alows us this flight."

"You have made no agreement with us. We shall seek confirmation. Turn back and wait for our signal."

"We can not turn back, we are heading at best speed. If nessasarly, conferm with Menelmacar as we're passing through. If by some reason, you do not get confermation, you can easily catch us. We need to reach CG for the trial."

(OOC: The planes being used are like the An-124 or the C-17, only with a few differences.)

"What trial?" A massive amount of Dropships follow alongside.

"The trial of the Elves that New Hyborea shipped to us and that Menelmacar, while not happy with, agreed to."

"Will be sending you the relevent information... now."

"We see no reason for this matter to come to trial. Release the elves to us, or we shoot you out of the sky."

I wouldn't worry about it though, they got the same stunt pulled on Belem too. And somehow both blockade operations still succeed. (OOC: I highly advise AGAINST inviting Belem into this if you want a good RP.)

Your labeling of Menelmacar is not very helpful. I ask that you retract that statement. While they can be blinded by their biases, they do make the right decision if properly given the motivation.

As for the trial. It was been delayed due to the unhelpfulness of the Elves in question. They seem to distain our entire legal system and refuse to answer any questions.

We, of course, have ways of getting around this.

But it does take longer to start a trial.
