The rear of the 23rd Airborne quickly alerted his CO.

"Sir, Ruhrian forces will provide an escape route should we need to retreat," he said.
"Good, good. Tell them we'll hold out as long as possible on the front," McLellan said.

Mai reloaded and looked to see what enemies were left.

Meanwhile
Kao ordered the other men.

"Jesup fill up the vechicle, drive it out of here and hide it. Mare set up the detonation pack here then drag those fuel drums next to it. We then exit this building and plant the other two charges on walls. I want it to seem like we got lucky. We then will pick-up Mai and Trueshot. Let's roll"

(There are rebels headed towards Nuremburg? I would be able to figure out if they were friendly or hostile by talking to the Ruhrian intelligence, right. I know they're coming, I don't go anywhere blind.)

SO HQ Vehicle, Nuremburg, Ruhr

A young lietenant by the name of Jero looked up from his command screen. "General, satellite and overhead reconnaisance show troop movement towards Nuremburg."

The general, who had been pulled out of Wonsan, North KOrea for this, looked at the young officer. "Have you asked Ruhrian intel if they are theirs?"

"No sir. I'll get to it."

"Good." He looked at another officer. "Jim, call the SOET commanders and tell half of them to move towards the northern edge of the city, just in case. We don't want any surprises do we. Also tell the WBTs to be on alert as well as the StormBlades. Get all our armor within a close range of this HQ."

"Yes sir. Doing it now, sir."

Nuremburg, Ruhr

The SOET commanders got the messages and they began to move both by vehicle and by foot. The WBT pilots began patrolling and the StormBlade pilots entered their attack craft. The tanks began moving towards the HQ.

(OOC: I realized that it was WBT instead of MBT, so anywhere in the forums that it says they are MBTs, it is actually WBT.)

Ianran Panjaf, Pilot of A-14 #1

The pilot of the A-14 still remembered. How the F-15XLs gathered onto him, how he quickly released his flares empty in panic, how he tried to fire the ATAS...

Where am I?, he though in daziness. Not being a pro parachuter, he damaged his head on a flat rock.

He got up, with splatter of blood on his hair. It is dark, very dark. Everything around is dark. Darkness, covers this grasshill. He is very sleepy and exhausted. But he had to survive.

Where's the damn supply box?, he wondered. Because his eyes are good, like other AF pilots, he quickly identified the parachute.

There..., he unpacked a small survival pack under his ejection seat, which is not far from the parachute, being several feet away. He has enough food, drink, equipments, and even a small pistol loaded. he also found a combat knife, and a magazine of .45 ACP ammo for his Glock 17 pistol. The good news is, there's also a radio transmittor. But the bad news is, it is cracked, unable to work.

But he knew, he is in a new rebel-controlled territory.

"No sir, the troop movements are actually loyalists. (OOC: Yeah, right) They should be arriving in the next half hour! And it would be good news, we will have the airport well covered then, as well as the harbour's entrance!" The man read his report to the Sigma Octavus unit comander.

"Roger that."

The lietenant looked up at the general. "Sir, intell says that they are loyalist troops."

The general looked at the screen displaying overhead pictures of the troops. "Tell most of the SOET to move back to their old positions. I want a few hundred there anyways, in case they aren't loyalist. We don't know how far the rebellion goes."

"Yes sir. Doing it now." He went back to talking on his headset relaying orders to the SOET in the field.

Hashman yawned as he awoke.

"Battle reports?" he asked his assistant as he dressed himself.

His assistant cleared his throat and spoke, "Bloody battle at New Ruhr. Large air battle raging over the Ruhrian Channel. Nasty naval battle also."

"Interesting. Let's move. Contact the boys to rock 'n roll. I want to meet the Ruhrian commander of Lepizig... then we'll ambush him and his party. We take the city for the rebels. They'll never expect it."

"I've already contacted the Ruhrian Command, we await their response."

"Excellent."

Major Verda, acting CO of the 11th Ropes Marines, pulled his LandRover up to the curb of the New Genoese command post. They have been waiting to speak with a representative for quite some time, and Verda took Captains Pryce and Hatcher with him. The three walked into the building, Verda leading the way. "Where is General Hashman? I am the Ruhrian sector commander here in Leipzig."

Flight Over Twin Rivers:

The flights of A-10s and Su-37s had not gone unnoticed by rebel Ruhrian ground defenses, but neither had the ground defenses gone unnoticed by the aircraft/ The Su-37s released their payload of air-to-air missiles on the enemy fighters, concentrating all their fire on the aircraft in an effort to draw their attention from the A-10's and allow them to reach their targets. Four fighters went up in flames as they made their bombing runs, none of the pilots managing to eject. (OOC: I'm assuming an AD-110 is a fighter. If its AA or something, lemme know.)

If unhindered further, the A-10 aircraft would continue to their destination: the rebel held bridge, and strafe the enemy forces with air to ground rockets and tank-busting 30mm chaingun fire. With the armored units on the bridge, the pilots were counting on them being grouped close together and thus easy pickings for their strafing runs.

Twin Rivers: Ground battle

Lt. Zhukov cursed his rotten luck. Reconaissance patrols had detected movement of an entire platoon towards the rear of his position. It seemed the rebels hoped to surround and cut them off. It wasn't an inescapable situation; a single platoon was a small unit, not nearly as large as the 6000 men under his command. But it would mean a breakout would be necessary. Superior intelligence gathering capability was one of the thing the Revolutionary Guard was known for, and Zhukov hoped their foreknowledge of the rear attack would be enough to win the day. The officer gave the order; the mechanized infantry and light armor did a full about-face and were to rush the 3rd platoon, hitting it with shells, anti-tank missles, light artillery, RPG-20s, everything in their units arsenal and crush them before they had a chance to reach their destination.

Zhukov wasn't worried so much about this part of the mission's success. What troubled him was how long they would be able to keep this secret as high command intended. Yes, all his Revolutionary Guardsmen were sworn to secrecy, as were the Naval Secret Service officers who replaced the Red Hammer's ordinary crew. But eventually someone, a journalist or rabble rouser or MP back home, would realize something was going on. Even if their deployments were always closely guarded state secrets, a leak was not impossible.

The Vanguard Battlegroup finally arrived in the western Pacific, trailing close to seventy wakes behind it; the submarines long since slipped beneath the waves, the Devastator-class surface escorts gleaming brightly amidst the spray around the mightiest warship in the IDF N; the IDS Vanguard bristled with guns atop her upper deck, and the water faintly glows blue at her stern; K# fighter/bombers hang motionless above the Battlegroup, gunports open and ready.

They slow to a crawl.

And then...

A laser transmission surges out of a comms unit on the Vanguard, slicing through the air and intersecting with a MISAT recieving panel high above in orbit-

Due to the inavtivity of the rebel forces in northwest Ruhr, we decided to call off the order to send our Destroyer squadron, for various security puproses.

On a different matter, we will station one of our new M53 TEL Cruise Missile launcher, capable of launching our BGM-210 Naginata Cruise Missile, and our BGM-233 Cicada Cruise Missile Tactical Jamming Platform. The M53 should be able to complete a number of tasks to take out various threatening rebel positions away from our reach, and should also post a psylogical effect for the rebel forces.

General Hashman exited the command post, accompanied by his two subordinates. On the flanks hid two platoons of Marines, carrying M16A4 rifles with M203 grenade launchers ready. Behind Hashman were hundreds of Marines carrying light small arms. As Hashman approached Verda, the Marines embraced their Ruhrian "friends."

Meanwhile, Colonel Walker and Lt. Coleman had completed the final preparations for the counter-attack against Hashman's secret ambush. Unfortunately, their cover had been blown an houe before, and Hashman ordered the two regiments to patrol the outskirts of the city, on the other side of the city from the command post. Reluctantly, they were forced to obey, and now time was their enemy.

"Greetings, Major Verda. General Hashman, commander of the 91st Marines Division of New Genoa, am I. Glad to meet you. You've got a fine bunch of Marines here, fighting impoverished Ruhrians who only want to receive equal rights and basic welfare!" spoke Hashman, whose voice level heightened significantly through his last sentence. "Goodbye, you are the weakest link," he remarked before taking cover.

"Fire!" hollered the hidden Marines who unleashed a fury of grenades into the fray. The explosions tossed bodies into the air, and engulfed others. Soon, the crackling of rapid machine gun fire echoed. It had begun.

The area was overcome by gunfire. Verda ducked instinctively as bullets flew. His companions fell quickly from crossfire. "What the hell is going on?" He holstered his pistol, and tried to find cover.

Ducking behind a wall, he found a dead New Genoese marine. Grabbing his rifle, Verda peered around the corner and fired on what he believed was Hashman. "You beyotch! You don't even know the straight facts!"

"Dear Lord," said Colonel Walker. "It's begun. Let's move, move, move!" The regiments quickened their pace significantly, as the sound of gunfire loudened. Overhead, he spotted six UH-60's and six AH-64's moving across the blue skies.

"They're heading for the Ruhrian command post! Jesus Christ, someone fire a f---ing Stinger at those bastards. Load those damn SMAW's!" shouted Lt. Coleman at the top of his lungs.

--

Hashman back-pedaled back into the heart of the command post, spraying rifle fire as he moved. When he was assured of his safety, he made a quick transmission through his field radio to an prominent figure in the betrayal.

"Is the chopper attack in the sky?" he panted.

"All birds our flying. The first group is some fifteen minutes away. The second, third, and fourth groups are taking off, sir!" responded the voice.

"Good, now get me a Humvee company to spearhead the Ruhrian command post after the chopper assault and landing!"

"Yes, sir!"

Verda was alone, shouting and bullets flying everywhere. It was not the custom of the Ruhrian Marines to surrender, he would go down fighting. Pulling a clip off the dead Genoeses' belt, he stuck it in his rifle. Reciting Psalm 23, he muttered.

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadethme beside still waters. He restoreth my sould: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and merchy shall follow me all he days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Rolling out into the open and simultaneously firing single blasts at the open New Genoese traitors, Verda stood and ran into their fire, taking cover and continuing to run. It was unlike anything Verda has ever done. He finally got back to the two captain's bodies. Out of ammo, he dropped his rifle and picked up the ones carried by his officers.

Once again, the Ruhrian fought into the walls of bullets, dodging what he could. One hit Verda's shoulder, it knocked him back a few feet, bringing him to the ground. A chopper appeared over the opening in the street. It stood there, or it seemed to through Verda's eyes. Everything was fading, and the bullets seemingly stopped. The only noise was that of the chopper's blades spinning and spinning. He stood, blood running down his left arm.

He groaned as his eyes met those of the pilots. Raising his rifle, he took aim. "You bitches." The bullet flew out of the rifle, followed by a large bang. The recoil made Verda loose his balance. He regained it though, there was much more noise right after he fired. This time coming from behind him, as more New Genoese surrounded him.

Verda stood in the middle of the street, with his gun slowly dropping. He collapsed, in the middle of the street. Blood puddled around him, as the hot April sun warmed the concrete. His vision faded from bright blue, to light grey, to a darker grey, and finally to black. The pain of the bullet was no longer there, as his mind entered a state of euphoria.

Meanwhile

Mai saw the Humvee and his heart sank. He ahd no chance of killing it. It was likely to kill him first. He decided to try anyways and he raised his gun. he got the driver in his sights and started to pull the trigger.

IC: "He's dead," remarked the young lieutenant.

General Hashman smiled and spoke these words, "Take his body, stript him of his uniform, and hang him. The rich and military will no longer rule Ruhr. Onward, comrades!"

--

Two Stingers sliced through the air like a knife though butter, slamming into an Apache and sending the flaming wreckage to the ground. A large boom followed and blazing fire roared.

"I got one! I got on.." Twelve machine gun bullets soon pierced the young captain's chest in mid-speech as he fell backwards, blood trickling down his hole-filled body.

"Get those bastards! Get 'em!" screamed Lt. Coleman. Meanwhile, Colonel Walker signaled his men to move at faster paces, they were nearly 100 yards away. The gunfire suddenly ceased, followed by a cheer in the distance.

"Major Verda is dead," sighed Walker.

Continuance from the A-14 Pilot Scene

Dawn already, at the mist grasshill.

Ianran Panjaf ate a can of Omzian shredded pork --- hard and cold. It is clear that the rescue team either can't find him, or abadoned hope.

The only way he can survive, is to use cover. But he just remembered, he is just an Air Force pilot. Nothing strong about him.

Where's the PLF damnit..., he thought angrily, saddened. Although he is angry, he miss his comraded. Even his leaders --- the chubby, slow "Mr. Dimwit". It is clear that he has the urge to just go home from this foreign, barbarian, strange land.

He walked over, looked at the red horizon. He remembered the sights of the Omzian Air Force War Ceremony, before he was deployed. He can hear the revolutionary songs buzz in his head --- slightly. He could almost feel it, shaking his body. He has gone to the extreme, uncapable of accepting the fact that he is lagging behind. Ready to be put into slavery by the rebel forces.

He wrote a note in Omzian:

To my Omzian friends in Tactical Air Strike Squadron #85,
Hone, I can remember your laughter. Even "Mr. Dimwit", I can remember his smile occasionally. This is the time, I will lag behind you all.
I am now, at this grasshill. I am trapped. I know the rebels will catch me. Torture me. Hang me, or sell me as a slave.
Being a member of our glorious Omzian People's Liberation Forces, I will /not/ let my comrades down. Being a member of the Omzian Socialist Party, I know that I will not give in to the enemies. Never. Torture cannot make me speak.
To put my glory aside, to put my comrade's safety in my ghost, you will see me in the afterworld.
Hone, my fellow friend, please do me a favor. Tell my wife and kids, tell them, I sacrificed by life.
Goodbye, comrades.
Sincerely, Ianran.

Tears flowed into Ianran's eyes. The tears dropped onto the scrap of paper he ripped off from a small notebook, making dots. He went aside, and pulled up a lighter. He ripped his name from his uniform, burnt it.

"For Omzian Democratic Republic!", he shouted. He folded his message, and put it in his pocket.

He picked up the pistol. It is time.

A gunshot is heard. The scene fell silent.

Major Tremor looked out his command post to see a group of Apache's heading his way. One launched a rocket at one of the Ruhrian LandCruisers. "Sound the alarm! Have those taken out!"

They opened fire on every Ruhrian Ropes Marine in their path, and the brave troops returned what they could. An AD-110 rolled into the street and launched its SAMs into the sky, taking out as many helicopters as it could before they diverted their fire.

Fighting intensified as a trail of vehicles drove down the road leading to the command center.

The 3rd Platoon flew over the side of the hills north of Twin Rivers. Lead by Captain Baker, a veteran of the North K0rean War, they were sure to back up the now fading 2nd Platoon. The small unit was only meant to push the Alvarezistani back and out of the Rebel's way, but it turned into a bloody conflict, which once again had proved that the primary unit to a war is the tank.

Baker sat in his commander chair, and ordered his unit across the flats. The wreckage of Omzian, Ruhrian, and Alvarezistani units scattered the hill. Passing through the fielded area, they pushed into the lines. 2nd Platoon had slowed down, and the crack unit reinforced the armoured push. They turned and began their flank. Second Company would be moving within the hour. All they needed to do was take out as much as possible.

"1st Platoon, where do you stand?" Baker wanted to plan a counterstrike before the enemy was able to push them back. The Republican Guard had obviously been a formidable enemy, digging in and resisting movement until the last minute.

"This is 1st Platoon, the Rebels have secured the bridge and we are moving west and up the hill. ETA 30 minutes. Over and out."

Baker looked through his thermal imaging, "There they are." He spoke into his headphones, "Don't give them a chance to fire. All units, engage!"

Mai stopped when he saw the gunfire erupt from the Humvee. He looked closer and saw that the insertion team was riding it. He breathed a sigh of relief. He was safe. That humvee would probably guarantee that he would make it to the chooper alright.

Meanwhile.
The humvee swung around and a body flew up on to the hood.

"that's gonna leave a dent."

the next turn brought the heading towards the hole in the fence. It also flung the body off the hood of the Humvee. It drove out through the hole and stopped. Mai jumped in the back seat

1) Ruhr's populace is split in two: Loyalists to current government (High and middle classes) and the rebels(Low class with no property and a good portion of the military)

2) People come in to help

3) Fighting breaks loose, New Ruhr becomes a battlefield where South New Ruhr is controlled by rebels. A big base is controlled by rebels. A fleet goes mutinous and starts to attack each other.

4) An air battle rages over South Ruhr. A huge armoured battle takes place in South New Ruhr.

[OOC: Already saw the map. Isn't this more or less the way it always goes? Anyways... let's start the roleplaying then.]

The TDPS Dravnesk hit shore at precisely 1400 hours, troops spilling from the bay of the massive carrier. Encircling a small area of space, a total of 10,000 troops poured from the carrier as other smaller carriers, lead by the two larger ones, the TDPS Bengrad and the TDPS Pichna, landed beside them on the shore. They were, according to calculations, precisely 30 miles northeast of Capetown, New Ruhr.

After the total of 138,000 troops had assembled from the various ships landing on the shore, a distinguished general, medals blazing on his chest, stepped out in front of the men and called them to attention. 'Ladies and gentlemen,' he began, 'For all you greenhorns who've ever wanted to see rebels up close, this is your lucky day. I expect you to act like a fucking ARMY here, girlies. I don't want to see any of you being idiots. First man to act like one gets shot by ME. Let's move out. We are going to take control of Twin Rivers by 2300 hours, no excuses!'

The batallion headed up the shore, preparing for the long march ahead of them to the city of Twin Rivers, where they were ready to encounter heavy resistance from rebel forces.

Meanwhile, slightly northwest of Capetown, three large carriers, the TDPS Torrin, TDPS Musai, and TDPS Yavnesk, landed on the shores, spilling out 50,000 troops onto the sand. Unanimously, the troops started moving, not marching but walking without any organization, towards Capetown, where they would wait for further orders before attempting to encircle and take control.

General Mitsuko Collins, Carter da Vinci, Mr. Banks, and Nik sat in an underground office back in Alokin, meanwhile, discussing strategic points in Ruhr which they could recapture for the currently challenged government.
'I suggest we stick to the current course of action with Capetown and Twin Rivers and wait for further authorization from the Ruhrian government before proceeding further,' remarked Nik. Da Vinci nodded in agreement.
'That may be a good course of action if we were considering our diplomatic relations, but, right now, I think that Ruhr would be pretty damn grateful no matter what we did. I say that when we regain control of those two cities, we move on to the next few. We want to take back all of New Ruhr, without any delays. We still have the element of surprise,' responded Collins.
'But what if we end up messing up a Ruhrian military plan?' questioned Mr. Banks.
'We'll contact them now. Let's ask for further permission,' replied Nik.
'Screw the permission, if they say no, we'll have 180,000 troops sitting on their hands in two completely different parts of Ruhr,' yelled Collins, 'The only way to act is swiftly and unchallenged!'
'You forget your place. Sit down. I am going to send a call to the Ruhrian government to ask permission to send in more troops and take larger areas. Until then, your job is to think up a strategy, so I advise you start,' said Nik, reprimanding Collins, then turned to the phone and called up the number service line, to call the Ruhrian government.

The Vanguard Battlegroup silently sat upon the glittering waves amidst the Pacific ocean; she was not truly close to Ruhr at all, but she did not need to be close to Ruhr.

A laser beam, tightly constricted, lances out from a comms unit on the upper deck of the IDS Vanguard, seeking a MISAT in the skies high above. Intersecting the tactical satelite almost immediately, the transmission rebounds around the MISAT network for a moment before touching down in Ruhr (at a viable loyalist recieving station) in the form of an RF transmission:-

"This is the IDS Vanguard leading the EOTED Vanguard Naval Battlegroup, currently positioned in the eastern Pacific and awaiting orders from Ruhr. How may we be of assistance?"

There is a brief pause, and the message continues:-

"EOTED surveilance has noted something of an air war in progress; we are carrying M# interceptors, and can deploy them to reinforce loyalist positions if required. - If any Ruhrian naval assets are under fire, we would be glad to provide firing cover. Please respond with all possible rapidity. - This is the IDS Vanguard-"

The transmission repeats.

[OOC: Wellll...

To keep it brief:

IDS Vanguard: Vanguard-class 'air dominance cruiser' (ADC). An ADC is the meeting of ideals of a battleship and an aircraft carrier; Vanguard class ships have submarinal launch systems, allowing them to launch aircraft from below the waves and maintain an upper-deck bristling with guns/defensive systems. With an entirely 'customizable' upper deck composed of multi-layered double-sided rotating deck plates, she is a versatile and powerful class of warship capable of dealing with the level engagement required of a ship designated as a 'fleet-killer'. As the Vanguard class vessel is often the lone surface vessel in a Battlegroup, supported by defensive submarines, they are required to fulfil multiple-roles, and it was with this in mind that EOTED designers developed the quadruple-superstructure warship.

Each upper-deck plate is double-sided, with many plates possessing a collapsable iris-centre to allow missile deployment from launchers stowed below deck. Each plate has two sides consisting of EF-beam clusters (for point-defence operations, usually known as PDEF-beam custers), and sensor/comm clusters (for recon and communications, obviously), and a third of all plates have a third configuration: KGT (kinetic gun tube) on the upper plate (foldable module) and PDEF-beam clusters on the underside. Each plate can move independantly of the rest, so multiple configurations are available, ranging from 5% offensive, 95% defensive to 95% offensive, 5% defensive.

Because the ship is required to engage multiple targets, she required extremely tough armour. With this in mind, she is 'quadruple-superstructured'. This essentially means that she is four ships; each 'ship' covers the next 'ship', allowing almost full functionality even with the outer hull entirely blasted away. A good example of this was the warship destroyed in the recent Knootian War, which maintained a high level of efficiency right up until the moment of its destruction. Once considered nigh on invincible, this myth was recently dispelled in the just-mentioned Knootian War.

A Vanguard class ship can carry thirty-six G# heavy bombers or one hundred M# interceptors or one hundred twenty five X# fighters.

The IDS Vanguard is the second ship to bear that name, but is 40% composed of materials and components salvaged from the first IDS Vanguard, lost with 336 hands in the Battle of the Bay.

- The Devastator class cruisers

The 'daughter' of the Vanguard class, the Devastator class ships are designed to act in a support-and-defend role in engagements. Smaller and faster than a Vanguard class warship, they tend to attempt to draw away fire and lay down covering PDEF fire in dire circumstances. They have also been known to be utilized in small engagements against lesser forces than that which would require a full Battlegroup.

They are not quadruple-superstructured, but instead are double-superstructured, making them about half as tough to kill as a Vanguard class warship.

There are twelve Devastator class warships assigned to the IDF N's flagship fleet, the Vanguard Battlegroup.

- Emperor-class submarinal defence ships

The Emperor class is a fairly new design, approximately one hundred thirty metres in length, comprising MI-enhanced airjet stream propulsion systems (as are those found on all the surface ships the Empire boasts) and rarely kinetic torpedoes. Usually they carry so-called Pike (anti-submarine) torpedoes, designed to pierce the hull of an enemy vessel and ignite the atmosphere inside, or Salmon torpedoes, designed to create negative-pressure compression waves against enemy surface ship hulls. They are fragile, and not designed to engage without surface support.

There are fifty Emperor-class submarines assigned to the Vanguard Battlegroup.]

OK:

Let me give it to you straight right now. Since I don't have the time to RP this, yet...yet...I will tell you exactly what is going to happen for you to RP.

1) 2 of 3 of the infantry divisions will be rebels. The island segment of Nuremburg will have the only loyalist section. Coincidentally, that is the same island as Victor Firestorm's Chancellor's Hall.

2) The Infantry Divisions will get a hold of the artillery units inland and bring them to the shore and begin harrassing attacks on passing ships, only after the bridge connecting the island with mainland goes under a small arms conflict. (The Bridge is 5miles long).

After that, you decide...your troops opperate through your orders. Have fun, buddy. Sorry I am biiizay!

NOTE: I am sorry, I will never ever again try to act black.

Omzian Battle Command Center

Also, dawn already.

But this is different. A group of military officials sat, in a trailer. But their meeting --- is closely linked to the "Pilot Incident".

Dim moon light, shine the oak table.

===

"Damnit! What the hell are you people thinking!? neglect the rescue of our fellow comrades! How am I going to report to my higher ranks!!??", Major Dimwan Kolans yelled in anger, at his fellow officers.

Clearly, this is day 3 since Ianran Panjaf went missing. Other pilots were later rescued, by remaining infantry medics. Some are killed --- but very few. But the officers know --- they neglected the rescue of Ianran. This is not only a shock in the Omzian unit, but this also permits that the Major won't get his promotion his higher ranks has mentioned.

"So, what am I going to do now?", Kolans asked in anger. he slammed the desk in front of the 5 officers, the shockwave sent coffee spilled out of the cup. "Damnit, who took coffee here!?"

"Uh... Me sir, I thought you want some drink...", a lower-rank officer said, scared. Most others were shaking at their "inner body", too.

"Hone, when did I ask you to bring coffee!? Out, out!", the Major yelled, frantically, trying to catch a breath. Later, he could hear a smal of the door.

"Don't slam the door damnit! Anyways, my business. Now, who out of you people completely neglected Comrade Panjaf? Who?"

"Sir, we simply can't find the pilot. Our medical vehicles searched in friendly territories. It is just too risky for us to go in the rebel territory," a medic-officer answered, calmly.

"Ever heard of what's 'rescue your own comrades', Dankan? Now, explain why you neglected the charter of the Omzian People's Liberation Air Force!"

"Well, Major, I didn't intend to neglect Comrade Panjaf. We tried as hard as we can, no success. But don't forget, Comrade Panjaf will most likely to escape. Our firefight took at the border of the rebel territory and friendly territory."

"Lemme think, so what are you saying is, he can survive sincee he is a superman? Hahaha.", the Major answered with a slight tone of sarcasm.

"Uh... Major, what we mean...", the medic-officer was cut off.

"SARCASM! Don't you know what sarcasm is!? Go back to Grade 6!", the Major yelled, frantically.

"Major, listen. We don't know what's the status of Comrade Panjaf right now. Most likely he will come out. The crash site seems to be a friendly controlled one, after all. Please, just... calm down.", Sargent Yankze Ukan answered, calmly. He was known for his quiet in virtually all meetings --- but this one, is different.

"Dam...", the Major tried to yell again. But something flashed in his mind. Why am I not liked by Comrade Panjaf, and everyone else? I yell too much, perhaps. The Major then sighed, and said calmly, "We'll wait. Now, meeting ended."

"Major... This doesn..", the medic-officer answered, slowly.

"We'll wait. Anyways, continue the search effort. Meeting over."

What the... Is this a dream?, the medic-offier wondered. The Major doesn't act as this... whatever. He shrugged, and stepped out of the trailer. Calmly, he went back to his tent, still concerned.

Nuremburg, Ruhr

A SOET commander in a tree near the outskirts of Nuremburg qeued his headset and spoke into it. "General, the troops are entering the city."

"Have they seen you?" The generals staticed voice filtered through.

"They show no signs that they have noticed us."

"Good, keep it that way."

"Yes sir. Over and out."

The commanders second-in-command scanned the frequencies to find the one the troops were using. He signaled to the commander. "Go ahead sir."

The commander triggered his headset once more,"Attention Ruhrian soldiers. Identify yourselves."

OOC: Tiburon's essentially hijacking the thread. Now, lets move on with IC stuff.

IC:

Omzian Battle Command Center

A dim light shined on the trailer's door. The doorlight.

Major Kolans has gone over with the reports. Satisfaction? Never. Anger? No. Sadness? For this time, yes.

He walked over to the door. White, it doesn't make any sense to him. Light shine on his badge, pinned on his chest. Light shine on the emblem, on his shoulder. He is sleepless, but hungry, also walking in daziness.

A big knock on the door.

"Comrade Uankuan!", he said in a loud voice.

Calm night, no one in the tents heard him --- except the mosquitoes, flying beside his shoulders.

Lone night.

Omzian Battle Command Center

...(Continued).

Sargent Uankuan, the medic-officer, got up from the chair, from his long work of night duty. He walked, impatiently, wanted to get the work done despaately. Then, he opened the door, in confusion.

"Major Kolans!?", he asked in suprise. "What are you doing in... 3:53 AM? Get back to sleep!"

"No, no, no," the Major said, calmly --- the first time in 4 years of becoming a Major. "I just... want to talk to you."

"I still got the work over there...", Sargent Uankuan stared at the paper, worried. "Anyways, come in, no problem."

"Thanks, I just wanted to... talk to you," Major Kolans said, in a bit of embarassment. He certainly didn't feel bad while speaking in a calm tune.

"Sit on the leather chair. I'll get some coffee."

"No, no, no... I just want to talk, no coffee."

"No coffee? You got it." Then, the sargent walked over, slowly. "Anyways, what do you want to.... talk about?"

The Major, took a deep breath. Remembering his life, he looked at the ceiling, and said, "Comrade, I still remember when I'm 14. I just received the news that my dad, died from an aircraft accident. I still remember, born in a military family, I promised him to join the People's Liberation Air Force. And I did when I was 18... I'm only 34, and I'm a Major now. Seems weird, doesn't it? Time goes by fast."

The sargent paused for a few second, wondering why the Major talked about this. Then, he asked, "you are only 34!?"

"Yes. See the scars on my face? That's from an aircraft accident. I almost died. I always wonder, I'm 34, but why did I act like a 134 years old? What I meant is... I'm sorry for my temper. I am... sorry."

The young sargent, answered, in a weird tune, "you are sorry? Am I in a dream? Sorry... I understand, you have a tough life."

"Yeah," the Major sighed. Then, he continued, "I just received the news. Panjaf is KIA. KIA..."

"Wh... where did you hear about it?"

"Comrade Anjun. People say he's shot by a rebel or something," then, he stepped towards the cabinet, with a portrait of Ianran Panjaf. He bowed down, and saluted,

"Panjaf, I can still remember I yelled at you endlessly. Control stick wrong, didn' turn on HUD, forgot about what bomb to drop. I can still rememebr I yelled at you, when you are late at fetching my dinner, when you failed to report to your higher ranks because you are late in a training exercise. Now, you are in hell. And... I'm sorry. I truly am. Remembering the 8 years, I truly... am."

The Major's eyes is filled with tears --- teh first time ever. He saluted again, and said,

"Good Captain Panjaf. You served Omzian People's Liberation Forces well. You served our motherland well, comrade. I, represent the 35th Air Wing, I salute you."

He walked over, speechless. Slowly, he looked at the sargent, who is also speechless. He nodded his head in sadness, and stepped out.

...a silent bang.

Ok: TDP:

Right now, things are hairy all over Ruhr. It is lookin' like there is no hope for New Ruhr, saying that OOCly. I would start reinforcing the Ruhrian Mainland alongside the channel and islands. If you want to station like 20,000 troops there...knock yourself out. Keep in mind:

Ruhr has 18 armoured divisions of roughly 300 tanks a piece with 6,000 tanks in total. Now, there are 1,000 Rebel M1A2 Abrams in New Ruhr, which gives you about 3 divisions right there. Those are the old tanks. There are 2 Rebel Tank Divisions also, from those 18 armoured units. There is a third and a fourth armoured division in New Ruhr, but no one has had contact with it.

The other 14 Armoured divisions are in and around Ruhr, with 1 in Nuremburg, 1 in Hamburg, 1 in Rhine City, and the others spread out around the entire country.

This has been an OOC update.
