New revelations: The soul's inner light. #Private RP# - Page 3
Jack picks up his tea again and resumes sipping at the liquid. "Well, you've got your information, take a look at it. See if you find what you're looking for." "Alright, I'll look it through"
The AI speaks. "I'll download it to a PADD for you." Seconds later an electronic tablet containing all the data from the download appears in Davis' hand. "And now OPS can get back to work!"
Jack nods to the OPS officer. "Okay, retake your station." He sits in the command chair and finishes his tea, his cup disappears from his hand. "Davis, feel free to take an auxilliary station. You can read your information there and cross-refrence anything you need to from our database."

The Xanthalian Super Dreadnaught wanders aimlessly through the slipstream as the crew goes about their business.
The Xanthalian Super Dreadnaught wanders aimlessly through the slipstream as the crew goes about their business. Davis plods through her work, then, suddenly "What!?! I've got something!" then, she remembers she's on the Bridge and her face goes Red.
Several of the bridge crew look over at her before they all return to work. Jack stands. "You seem pretty enthusiastic Ensign; what did you find?"
Several of the bridge crew look over at her before they all return to work. Jack stands. "You seem pretty enthusiastic Ensign; what did you find?" "I think I've found a lead sir" she said "Turns out, one of the men working under me on the day of the disaster was related to the Vice Admiral who tried to get me CMed"
"You think there's a correlation?"
"You think there's a correlation?" "Maybe, I'll look into it further, also, the same VA was arrested twice earlier in his career for 'questionable activities' of some sort, and for having possible 'undesirable connections'"
"And he kept his position? Yikes. That's unsettling."
"And he kept his position? Yikes. That's unsettling." "Well" Davis said, looking further "Each time he was oddly found not guilty, which is wierd as the evidence to convict him was all right there in the second case"
Jack sits back in his seat. "Sounds suspicious. Well, what do you want to do about it? I'm willing to help."
Jack sits back in his seat. "Sounds suspicious. Well, what do you want to do about it? I'm willing to help." "I think he did some serious bribing and Brown-nosing on both cases, especially with some of the specifics of what he was being charged with"
Jack repeats himself. "So what do you want to do? Taking on an official is no easy task. Are you content simply to leave it as is, or do you want to fight for yourself?
Jack repeats himself. "So what do you want to do? Taking on an official is no easy task. Are you content simply to leave it as is, or do you want to fight for yourself? "I'll tell you what I want to do" Davis growled "I want to bust his ass" she then seemed to remember where she was again "Sir" she added hastily.
Jack laughs. "You know, it's a damn shame you aren't going to stay with us once we've worked this all out. You're a damn fine officer, skilled and strong. If after all this is over you aren't comfortable returning to your career in Kecha you certainly have a future in the Xanthalian Armada."
OOC: I'm gonna bring Trasnia into this thread soon. When I do, don't be thrown. I've approved him coming in because he is me :P .
IC: "I'll remember that sir" Davis said, looking through the information "A-hah, something else, someone he doesn't like very much"
Jack brightens. "Ally?" "For us, if we can find her"
Jack opens his mouth to speak, but before he can the ship rattles slightly and emerges from slipstream with a groan. Jack regains his balance quickly and taps his communicator badge. "Bridge to Engineering; what the hell was that?"
"Sorry Sir! New ship means new systems, some that need to be tweaked. We just burned out a slipstream directional stabilizer, the AI halted the ship as a precaution. We'll have it up and running again in no time. In the meantime, use the TDG. Engineering out."
Jack sighs and sits back in the command chair. "Figures." He looks at Davis. "Where can we find this person?"

Jack rubs his hands together. "Well, we can't go on a rison break mission in this ship, but I have an idea. Davis, you're with me. Commander, you have the bridge. Wait up for us, will you?"
"No problem Sir."
Jack gets up and walks to the turbolift, the first officer takes the command chair.

Jack gets up and walks to the turbolift, the first officer takes the command chair. "Aye sir" Davis said, and followed Jack along.
"Do you want any information on this person in the Sanitarium sir?"
Jack nods. "That would be good. Deck thirty. Shuttlebay." The turbolift starts downward.
Jack nods. "That would be good. Deck thirty. Shuttlebay." The turbolift starts downward. "Well, let's see" Davis said, following Jack "Her name is Natalia Androvich, she's a Demihumans, but I don't know what sort of Demihuman, aside from the fact she's a 4-legger, she's in her 40s, has Black hair, Green eyes, she was discharged from the KAR at the rank of Commander, anything else?"
"This is one of those situations where we'll have to tackle the problems as they present themselves..."
The turbolift doors open and Jack steps out into the large shuttlebay. There are about a dozen shuttles (the ship's slipfighter complement is obviously held elsewhere), mostly boxy-looking things used for short-range transport, but one single shuttle stands out; bigger than the rest and measuring about 30 X 10 X 20 meters, it's covered in what someone proficient in Xanthalian technology would identify as holographic emitters. Jack smiles and presses a panel, and a small door opens in the side. He steps in. "Computer, open the shuttlebay doors."
The massive outer doors begin opening, revealing the stars outside. The void is kept outside by a precisely modulated forcefield. Every now and then a small rippling and glow can be seen on the field's surface as space dust collides with it and is bounced back into space. Jack leans out of the shuttle. "Come on! I want to test out the Armada's newest toy!"

Jack scratches his head. "I don't think so, but I've been known to in the past. Why?"
Jack scratches his head. "I don't think so, but I've been known to in the past. Why?" "We might need to defend ourselves here"
Jack tilts his head. "What makes you think that?"
Jack tilts his head. "What makes you think that?" "Considering we're going to try and get someone out of a Sanitarium, and we're not relatives, or anything like that, we've no legal rights to get her out"
Jack smiles. "No, but we will in a minute. Or at least it'll look like we will. Sit down and let's launch this baby." Jack reenters the shuttle and sits in the pilot's seat.
Jack smiles. "No, but we will in a minute. Or at least it'll look like we will. Sit down and let's launch this baby." Jack reenters the shuttle and sits in the pilot's seat. "OK sir" Davis said, sitting herself down, shifting nervousley "Let's go I suppose"
The shuttle blasts out of the bay, going straight through the forcefield, which is modulated to allow it through. The shuttlebay doors close behind them. Jack smiles at Davis. "Ready to behold the magic?"

"Computer, mimic a Kechan prisoner transport."
"Acknowledged. Holographic emitters, forcefields, and FSE systems are online. Mimicing."
The ship is transformed in a flash of light, and suddenly looks exactly like a Kechan prisoner transport, both outside and in.
"False sensor readings now being emitted. Mimic complete."

"False sensor readings now being emitted. Mimic complete." "Huh" Davis said "Very nice, very nice indeed" she whistled in approval, then shivered again "Empress's name! I was told that medicine would work!"
Jack shrugs. "I'm no doctor, don't ask me." He looks over the panels, which now appear in Kechan standard layout. "Hmm... I used to know how this worked. So what planet is this sanitarium on?"
Jack shrugs. "I'm no doctor, don't ask me." He looks over the panels, which now appear in Kechan standard layout. "Hmm... I used to know how this worked. So what planet is this sanitarium on?" "Good job for us we've only got the one off-Earth Colony, a world called Kula Zielonego, unfortunatley for you, it's a good ways away, and that's where she is being kept"
Jack shrugs. "Well then, we'll just have to speed it up a bit. Computer, slipstream. Destination Kula Zielonego. Exit slipstream out of range of Kechan sensors, that'd be a dead giveaway."
The 'Kechan prisoner transport' jumps to slipstream drive and heads at 10,000 times the speed of light toward Kula Zielonego.

The 'Kechan prisoner transport' jumps to slipstream drive and heads at 10,000 times the speed of light toward Kula Zielonego. "Hey Jack" Davis said, as they sped along "How many systems and planets does Xanthal controll anyhow?"
Jack thinks a moment. "Fifteen systems, 154 planets, sixteen of those inhabitable, fifteen of those inhabited. 162 quadrillion cubic kilometers total claimed space."
Jack thinks a moment. "Fifteen systems, 154 planets, sixteen of those inhabitable, fifteen of those inhabited. 162 quadrillion cubic kilometers total claimed space." "interesting" Davis pondered for a moment "I'd always wondered why my own home country hasn't expanded out very far yet, their one Colony is so far away it's not funny, and no efforts to make another have been mounted, Private or governmental, any thoughts on that?"
Jack shrugs. "Well, for one thing having a lot of claims makes it hard to defend it all. And Kechan craft aren't all that fast, so it would be harder still. Xanthal can afford to expand because of one essential factor: Transdimensional technology. Our monitoring outposts tell us if there's a problem, and our ships can be there in seconds. If that were not the case, there would be no possible way for us to hold it all."

"True" Davis pondered some more "Yeah, the Armada Royale isn't known for being very swift or large is it? if I do end up getting my Active Duty Commision back, I'll need to set up a petitiion on that, send it to the Admiral of the Armada"
Jack nods. "Also though it's a matter of necessity. Xanthal continually expands because it needs the use of more and more resources as it's industry, technology, and population increases. We build things that Kecha not so much cannot as chooses not to. We have vast fleets of ships, outposts as big as small planets, worlds encased in civilization... Kecha chooses a more simplistic approach to it's ventures out into the cosmos, and thus can easily afford to work with the resources that it already has."

"Hmmm, remind mer to send a letter to the Empress, asking her to never make war with Xanthal, I've got tthis sinking feeling we'd lose the battle for Outer Space"
Jack raises an eyebrow. "Most assuredly. I would hope though that the Empress would not be so rash. It is difficult to provoke Xanthal into all-out war, a nation with Kecha's standing on the galactic stage would be foolish to try."

It is difficult to provoke Xanthal into all-out war, a nation with Kecha's standing on the galactic stage would be foolish to try." "She is young" Davis said "But to quote something she is supposed to have said once" Davis cleared her throat "I'm young true, but I'm not some kind of unstable child, the only thing that gets me mad easy is people who think 'young' and 'stupid' mean the same thing"
Jack laughs. "She has potential!"
The ship, still disguised, exits the slipstream just out of sensor range of the outpost and heads toward it on impulse power.
Jack laughs. "She has potential!"
The ship, still disguised, exits the slipstream just out of sensor range of the outpost and heads toward it on impulse power. "So, what's the plan sir?" Davis asked, seeming slightly nervous now.
Jack shakes his head. "That depends. Will they allow one of their own transports to take this woman as long as we have the proper paperwork?"
Jack shakes his head. "That depends. Will they allow one of their own transports to take this woman as long as we have the proper paperwork?" "Without Guards? depends on how these Colonials are"
Jack starts pressing buttons, having finally figured the controls out. "Will we have better chances with guards aboard?"
Jack starts pressing buttons, having finally figured the controls out. "Will we have better chances with guards aboard?" "Most probably, members of the National Guard"
"Computer, give us some guards. And put us in the proper garb, would you?" Guards materialize on the bridge and in the prisoner holding area. Davis' and Jack's clothes shimmer and reappear as Kechan transport uniforms. The ship moves into orbit above the colony.

Davis' and Jack's clothes shimmer and reappear as Kechan transport uniforms. The ship moves into orbit above the colony. "Nice" Davis said, as an AI from the colony hailed, them asking their business.
Jack motions for Davis to speak. After all, she's the one who would know how these procedures worked.
Jack motions for Davis to speak. After all, she's the one who would know how these procedures worked. Davis cleared her throat "KZC&C, attention, you are being hailed by Kechan Prisoner Transport 395-AKT, running light, GB, permission to land?" the rely was instant "GB?" "Here to pick up a patient from the local Looney Bin" "Permission granted"
Jack mutters below the audible range. "No transporters... Right. So inefficient..." He speaks up in Kechan as he manipulates the controls. "Starting down. Confirm landing beacons on target KZC&C."
Jack mutters below the audible range. "No transporters... Right. So inefficient..." He speaks up in Kechan as he manipulates the controls. "Starting down. Confirm landing beacons on target KZC&C." "Sorry" Davis muttered "Let's go"
The ship lands on the planet's surface. Jack sits back and awaits orders from Davis.
The ship lands on the planet's surface. Jack sits back and awaits orders from Davis. "Alright now" Davis said "We need to pop open the door and get out, they'll expect the Guards to wait here"
Jack nods. "For the duration of this away mission you will act as the commander. You know the ropes better than I." He goes to the door and opens it, waiting for Davis to take the lead.
Jack nods. "For the duration of this away mission you will act as the commander. You know the ropes better than I." He goes to the door and opens it, waiting for Davis to take the lead. Davis nodded and took the lead, stepping out of the ship into the brightly lit, immaculatley clean Landing Bay, allmost everything is a sickeningly-clean White, armored glass makes up most of the Landing Bay's roof, giving a great view of the jungle close by outside, and the stars overhead as it is Night-Time, a man in a White Jumpsuit walks up, he is bald as an egg, with a White handlebar moustache, he holds a Palm Computer "Hello, who's the CO here?" he asked, Davis stepped forward "I am, Lieutenant Commander Adriane Davis" she gestured to the markins on her uniform, the man nodded "Well LC Davis, what's your official business on Kula Zielonego?" Davis sniffed "We're here to pick up a patient for testing from the Colonial Sanitarium, she was sent here to keep her away from the larger portion of the Kechan people, for her security and the security of the people, just check the database, you'll see who I'm speaking of" the man checked "Alright, whore you?" he looked at Jack.
Jack knows that as an Armada captain his name will be on file, so he lies about his last name. "Ensign Jack Tomson. I operate the primary systems on board the transport."
Jack knows that as an Armada captain his name will be on file, so he lies about his last name. "Ensign Jack Tomson. I operate the primary systems on board the transport." "I'll just check on that" the man said, but he stopped as Davis held up a hand "No time, this is an urgent mission, just get us to the Sanitarium, OK?" the man paused, then nodded "Follow me" he began to lead them to a Airlock, as he walked he turned to Jack "How long y'been in service?" he asked.
Jack sighs. He hates getting mired in his own lies. Well, there was nothing for it now... "Just a few months. This transport is my second posting."
Jack sighs. He hates getting mired in his own lies. Well, there was nothing for it now... "Just a few months. This transport is my second posting." Davis spoke up "Ensign Tomson is kind of shy, try not to ask him a whole lot of questions, just get us in and out ASAP with our person" the man nodded "Follow me" he led them through the Airlock, then through a long series of corridors and such, untill they got outside into the small city, they got into a Black Car, the vehicle drove them to the edges of the city untill they came to a semi-large, concrete building, the gate in front of it said "Colonial Sanitarium"
Jack speaks up in a sarcastic tone. "Looks inviting."
Jack speaks up in a sarcastic tone. "Looks inviting." "Doesn't it though Ensign?" the old man replied in an equally sarcastic tone, Davis just grunted, the gates let the Car in, and it pulled up to the Inner Gate, they al piled out and were admitted in after a 15 minute Security check, the man who had come with them waited in the Front Room while a male Nurse took them towards the cell with the person they sought, he turned to face them outside a thick, metal door "This person is highly unstable, so you must be very silent and calm, OK?"
Jack nods. "We do this all the time; we run a prisoner transport, remember? Let's get her back to the ship, we'll use your guards to watch her until we get on board, then ours will take over. Sound good Sir?"
Jack nods. "We do this all the time; we run a prisoner transport, remember? Let's get her back to the ship, we'll use your guards to watch her until we get on board, then ours will take over. Sound good Sir?" "I'm a civilian Ensign Tomson" the Nurse said, Davis nodded silently, then the Nurse opened the door to the cell and they all walked slowly inside, the Nurse spoke quietly "Natalia? are you in here Natalia?" the room was dark, the lights out, a shadowed form stirred in a far corner "Huh?" a voice answered, and the figure rose, it was hard to see, but one thing was for sure, it was Natalia, and she wasn't totally Human.
Jack instantly formulates in his mind all possible occurances in this situation and predetermines his action for each. He steps forward and offers his hand to the figure. "Come this way please."

Natalia slowly moved forard, as she moeved into the light from the open doorway she was revealed to be nothing other than a Centaur, she moved slowly and her left eye kept twitching, when she spoke her voice was shaky "Who're you?" she asked Jack.

This is the kind of Centaur I mean, Natalia's Human segment is clothed fully though.
Jack smiles and takes her hand gently. "A friend."
Jack smiles and takes her hand gently. "A friend." Ntalia's ears perked up "Really? can you get me out of here?" she asked somewhat eagerly, Davis smiled in the shadows.
Jack nods gently. "Yes. Now let's go."
Jack nods gently. "Yes. Now let's go." "Sure" Natalia muttered, she looked at Davis as she moved out the door, Davis following the Nurse who led them back to the Front Room "You gonna' be bringing her back at all?" the Nurse asked "No" Davis said crisply "Government purposes"
Jack follows them back to the car and gets in, leading Natalia in alongside him.
Jack follows them back to the car and gets in, leading Natalia in alongside him. The Cas is very large, obviousley designed for transporting large beings, as Natalia sits in the vehicle she keeps trembling "I'm free" she muttered once or twice.
Jack sits out the trip and leads Natalia into the vessel, leaving Davis to conclude the discussion with the colonists.
Jack sits out the trip and leads Natalia into the vessel, leaving Davis to conclude the discussion with the colonists. Davis spends about 5 more minutes speaking, then joins them "Let's go Jack" she said, when the hatch was closed.
Jack lifts the ship off the ground and heads out of the upper atmosphere, leaving Natalia to sit in a spare chair on one side of the bridge. "So, where to next Ensign?"
Jack lifts the ship off the ground and heads out of the upper atmosphere, leaving Natalia to sit in a spare chair on one side of the bridge. "So, where to next Ensign?" OOC: Natalia has the lowr body of a Horse, she can't use Human chairs.
IC: "Well, the best thing now would be to lift off" Davis said.
Jack shrugs. "Already did that." The ship exceeds the maximum range of the outpost's sensors. "Well, do you want to go somewhere else before we return to the XAS-120?"
Jack shrugs. "Already did that." The ship exceeds the maximum range of the outpost's sensors. "Well, do you want to go somewhere else before we return to the XAS-120?" "Not really" Davis replied, Natali kept muttering to herself.
Jack nods. "Computer, slipstream. End mimic."
The ship accellerates to slipstream and returns in a flash of light to it's natural state. Jack and Davis' uniforms return to Xanthalian standard as well.

Natalia kept muttering to herself, tapping the floor with her front hooves on occasion, Davis looked at her "You think she's really a nutcase?" she asked Jack.
Jack sniggers. "Who knows? If she is we can easily put here back into the hands of the Kechans without giving the game away. If not, we can give her asylum and a new identity and no one will be the wiser. I just hope she has some information we can use. The Armada doesn't like it's officers using mimic shuttles without damn good reason. If we were to be discovered it would spell tremendous trouble for the entire nation."

"Yeah, I suppose it could, well, chances are she'll turn out to be a crackerjack" Davis said, then, she seemed to get an idea "Jack, once we're back aboard XAS-120, we need to get her to Sickbay, for a test"
Jack nods. "Yeah, that's what I was thinking."
The mimic shuttle emerges from the slipstream and docks with the ship. Two security officers await the trio as they disembark and take the patient to sickbay for evalation. Jack turns to Davis. "So what now?"
Before she can answer, the first officer comes on the intercom. "Captain, you're wanted on the bridge."
Jack nods. "Understood. On my way."
He starts off to the turbolift.

He starts off to the turbolift. Davis looked at the Security Officers, folowing them and natalia, she discreetly scanned their rank markings, wanting to know what she was dealing with.
Jack proceeds to the bridge.
"What is it Commander?"
"Trouble Sir. The Socialist Empire is standing off the Trasnians. We're being called upon to take part in the Xanthalian line. Part of the new dictator's diplomatic pressure scheme."
"Won't work; she knows that."
"Yes, but she had to do something. It won her the international election."
"Right. Very well then, set your course helm. Slipstream drive, we're in no hurry."
"Aye Sir."
The ship takes off at slipstream speed towards the Talmaraan system.
Back on the shuttle deck the security officers board another turbolift. As they turn around, Davis can see that they hold they are both males; one android and one Human. They hold the ranks of Lieutenant and Crewman, respectively.

The android, deceptively human-looking, nods and replies in a well-synthesized imitation of normal speech. "Correct."
The android, deceptively human-looking, nods and replies in a well-synthesized imitation of normal speech. "Correct." "I should probably go with her sir, I think I know the treatment she needs"
The Lieutenant shrugs. "Crewman, you're dismissed." The crewman nods and steps out of the turbolift, heading back towards the shuttle to secure it. "Ensign, you're with me."
The Lieutenant shrugs. "Crewman, you're dismissed." The crewman nods and steps out of the turbolift, heading back towards the shuttle to secure it. "Ensign, you're with me." "Yes sir" Davis said, falling in with the Lieutenant "Ready anytime you are sir"
"Sickbay." The doors shut and the turbolift begins to move.
"Sickbay." The doors shut and the turbolift begins to move. Davis waits as the turbolift heads for Sickbay, Natalia keeps muttering, and shaking her head.
The turbolift stops and the Lieutenant marches out, keeping Natalia ahead of him as they head for the sickbay doors.
The turbolift stops and the Lieutenant marches out, keeping Natalia ahead of him as they head for the sickbay doors. Davis followed as they headed to Sickbay, Natalia stopped outside the door and sniffed the air "Reminds me of my cell" she muttered to herself weakly, before moving along.
The Lieutenant shrugs and leads her through the doors, where she is made to stand beside a biobed. The Lieutenant stands at attention, watching to make sure all goes well and the girl does not cause trouble while being examined. He obviously expects Davis to do the same.

The doctor preforms a quick physical examination, then begins scanning her brain, assessing her mental fitness. The blood pathways through, and near her Brain seem to be sluiced with some sort of drug cocktail.
The doctor puts down the scanner and leads her into the security section of sickbay. He then closes and locks the door, sealing her inside. "We'll let her detox in here. Which one of you is to guard her?"

The Lieutenant nods. "When you require a relief contact the main security office and they will send a replacement." He leaves. The doctor continues his work around sickbay as Natalia stands in the isolation area detoxing.

Davis nodded to acknowledge her orders, Davis stood in front of the door to the Isolation Area, hands clasped behind her back, feet spread to shoulder-width, standing as still as stone, her unblinking eyes tracked everything they saw.
Hours pass without event. The doctor leaves after being relieved by another MO. The ship's lights dim, signalling the beginning of the "night".

Davis stays with Natalia into most of the night, by this time Natalia has changed, instead of standing with closed eyes and muttering in a babbling sting of gibberish, she seemed to be concentrating on her surroundings.
The doctor on duty turns his attention to monitoring Natalia. "Looks like the drugs are almost completely out of her system. I'll give it another hour, then continue the examination."

An hour later he enters the isolation cell and begins a psychological exam, running a scan of her brain.

An hour later he enters the isolation cell and begins a psychological exam, running a scan of her brain. She seems to be far more stable now, tough the lack of drugs has put her into a kind of fuzzy state for now.
OOC: Is she sane is the key question here.
OOC: Is she sane is the key question here. OOC: She seems to be.
OOC: Wonderful.
IC: The doctor finishes his examination and turns to Davis. "Do you have any idea what language she speaks?"
OOC: Wonderful.
IC: The doctor finishes his examination and turns to Davis. "Do you have any idea what language she speaks?" "She can speak Kechan, Dutch, Spanish, French, Portugese, and Polish"
The doctor looks surprised. "You know her?"
The doctor looks surprised. "You know her?" "No sir, I've seen her Kechan Military Profile"
"Ah. Well then." He turns back to Natalia and speaks in Xanthalian, the UT translating his words to Kechan for her. "Hello. How are you feeling?"
"Ah. Well then." He turns back to Natalia and speaks in Xanthalian, the UT translating his words to Kechan for her. "Hello. How are you feeling?" Natlia looked up, standing up on all four legs "Dizzy, who're you?"
The doctor bows. "Doctor Kil'lah Entonas, third medical officer aboard the Super Dreadnaught class Xanthalian Imperial Armada starship two-two-zero. What is your name?"
The doctor bows. "Doctor Kil'lah Entonas, third medical officer aboard the Super Dreadnaught class Xanthalian Imperial Armada starship two-two-zero. What is your name?" "Natalia" Was the Centaur's answer "Where am I?"
"I'm sure you know of Xanthal?"
"I'm sure you know of Xanthal?" "Yeah"
"You are aboard an Imperial Armada starship. IAS-120, Super Dreadnaught class."
OOC: She might not know about the Super Dreadnaught class or even the Armada if she was imprisoned long enough. After all, the Empire has only been around a few decades, before that it was a Commonwealth and the fleet ran under the title Xanthalian Space Forces.
IC: "Imperial Armada?" she said, looking very confused "OK, I'm confused now, first of all, who's Imperial Armada?"
"The Xanthalian Empire's."
OOC: Welcome back. Where did you go for nine days?
IC: "We took you from the Kechan facility you were being held at."
OOC: That's private, no offense.
IC: "Why, in the name of the Universe did you do that?"
OOC: None taken, this isn't exactly the place to share personal things; especially considering I don't know you in real life (as far as I know).
IC: The doctor shrugs. "I think Jack could answer that. Shall I call him down for you?"
OOC: Of course, I like to keep quiet about my true self in any large part.
IC: "Please, I hate being in the dark"
The doctor nods and glances at Davis. "Keep an eye on her."
He goes over to his office and presses a com button. "Captain to the medical ward."
Jack's voice responds. "On my way."
IC: "Yessir" Davis said, stiffening a little, bristling somewhat as well, she rubbed her eyes, and continued to wait.
Jack walks in about five minutes later and bows to Natalia. "Greetings. I am Jack Dianne, Captain of this starship." He glances at Davis. "At ease. You can go to bed if you want, you look tired."
OOC: This is kinda wierd. The delay here has been so long that I'm RPing this about 40 years behind my latest thread.
IC: "Yessir" Davis said, she loosened into an "at ease" pose, Natalia looked at Jack "Howdy"
Jack looks Natalia up and down, then nods approvingly. "You look much better. So, how are you feeling?"
IC: "Dizzy, thirsty, that sort of thing"
Jack crosses his arms. "Ah. Well, I can't do much for your dizziness, but..." he goes over to a replicator and grabs a glass of water, which he hands to Natalia. "Here you go."
IC: She sipper it slowly for a moment "Thanks" she paused, closed her eyes, and opened them again "Any questions I can answer for you?"
Jack jabs his thumb toward Davis. "I think she's the one who has the questions."
IC: Davis walked a bit closer to Natalia, they started into a whispered conversation for a moment, Jack could only hear snatches of it, mostly it was small talk that he heard, but Davis was obviousley asking some questions of importance"
Jack stands patiently, waiting for the two to conclude their talks.
