New revelations: The soul's inner light. #Private RP# - Page 2
OOC: It's 10:50 here... My parents would prefer that I be asleep now.
IC: "It's very busy. Fortunately, I'm the captain. Computer, take us to the main security office." The turbolift shoots off through the ship again, but inside the pod the only indication of it's motion is the positional display panel on the wall. The lift's inertial dampers compensate perfectly for the rapid speed and directional changes.
The lift comes to a halt on deck ten, and the doors open out into the corridor. Jack steps out and follows the hallway to the left.
The lift comes to a halt on deck ten, and the doors open out into the corridor. Jack steps out and follows the hallway to the left. The 3 Kechans followed Jack, staying just a bit behind him like usuall.
Jack enters the security office through a clear set of double doors. Inside are dozens of small desks with computer terminals on top. At the desks, various security officers monitor the ship's systems. On duty security teams are monitored on a large screen on one wall as they patrol the ship, and the screen also displays the security status of the ship. At the moment, all the areas are green, indicating the ship is secure and that all is in order. The lead officer on duty approaches Jack and salutes. "Sir. How can I help you?"
"Just giving my friends a tour, Commander. As you were."
The Lieutenant Commander returns to his duties overseeing the security staff. It's easy to see what a large part the security forces play on this monstrous warship.

The Lieutenant Commander returns to his duties overseeing the security staff. It's easy to see what a large part the security forces play on this monstrous warship. The 3 Kechans followed him, unable to keep a bit of excitement from their faces as they looked around, Davis seemed the least excited, but then, she'd had more military experience then her 2 companions.
As the group looks on, one of the areas on the large screen goes yellow, indicating a security risk. The ship display shrinks into a corner and status reports and survelliance camera views fill the majority of the picture. The cameras show a man facing off a security officer with a pistol. The officer, a young male Dwarf, is attempting to reason with the man, but with little success. The seemingly deranged suspect waves his firearm around carelessly as the now miniature ship display shows security teams converging on the site of the disturbance. The officer manning the station that controls security systems in that section watches the main screen and her own screen vigilantly, ready to take any action necessary to control the situation.

"What's going on" Hacker asked.
Jack watches the screen with intrest. "Looks like a spy. I wonder who put him on board?" The man with the pistol shoots his weapon into the air, putting a hole in the ceiling of the deck they are on. The section goes red on the map, indicating a security breach. Forcefields are shown activating, sealing the officer and the spy in a small section of hallway.

"That doesn't look at all good" Lewis observed.
The Dwarven security officer has obviously had enough. He unceremoniously draws his phaser and fires, vaporizing the man. Seconds later the forcefields go down, the status display in that section returns to green, and the information link terminates, the map growing once again to fill the entire wall.
Jack nods. "Well, looks like it's over now. Unfortunately, a spy can mean only one thing: That somebody is going to try attacking us." Jack taps his combadge. "Jack to the bridge, deactivate slipstream drive and engage defenses. All hands, red alert! Battlestations!" Jack heads at a quick pace back to the turbolift as the ambient lights in the ship dim to half power and red alert lights begin flashing, intermittantly bathing the scenery in a deep red shade. The red alert klaxon begins to sound, and the entire ship comes to order as internal and external defenses are put up. Jack reaches the turbolift as his badge beeps. "Bridge to the Captain, all defensive systems are active, we have exited the slipstream." Jack nods. "Good. Begin intensive scans of the area, watch for any enemy movement. I'll be with you in about twenty seconds." Jack enters the turbolift and waits for the Kechans to catch up.

The 3 catch up, Davis and Lewis running ahead of a slightly slower Hacker, as they catch up to him Davis pants "Who could want to attack you people?"
Jack shrugs. "These are violent times. Whether it's disgruntled citizens, independant bounty hunters, space-borne creatures, or enemy governments; somebody's always attacking somebody. Computer; bridge."
The turbolift doors close and the lift shoots upward to the bridge.

The turbolift doors close and the lift shoots upward to the bridge. "So are you just going to sit andwait for the attackers?" Hacker asked.
"Only if we can't detect them. Listen to me, when we get to the bridge you won't be authorized to operate anything since we're on combat alert. All the stations will be manned, so you'll just have to stand to the side secure in the knowledge that this is the second most powerful ship in the Armada."
The doors of the lift open and Jack quickly walks to the command chair. His first officer steps to the side and sits in the FO's chair as Jack takes the command seat.

The 3 Kechans simply follow Jack onto the Bridge and wait nervousley, trying to find comfort in Jacks words about this ship being the 2nd strongest in the Armada.
Jack yells to the OPS officer. "Report!"
The Operations officer barks a reply. "Sensor contact at 355 by 58 Sir. Appears to be a pirate vessel. A big one, too."
Jack nods. "Move to intercept, optimize defenses to match vessel type."
The helm officer manipulates her controls. "Aye Sir, moving to intercept."
The tactical officer begins working at his station. "Optimizing defenses."

The large viewscreen at the front of the bridge shows a large pirate vessel heading straight for the ship. Jack cocks his head to one side. "Why attack us? A pirate vessel can't possibly win a fight with a Super Dreadnaught. There's more to this than meets the eye. deep scan that thing, they've got a trick up their sleeve, I just know it. Watch for other enemy signatures too."
"Aye Sir."

"Aye Sir." Lewis slipped a hand into a pocket and found the object he wanted, good, it was still there if he needed it.
The OPS officer reports. "Sir, the pirate vessel has been rigged with an ion cannon."
Jack nods. "I thought so. Well, that's a point for them, but we're still ahead by a long shot. OPS, keep your eyes open. Tactical... Fire at will."
Torpedoes and phaser pulses shoot form the Super Dreadnaught and impact the pirate vessel, which begins evasive maneuvers and returns fire with normal weaponry and the ion cannon. OPS reports. "Primary shields are down to 86%."

The OPS officer looks nervous. "Sir, they're on a collision course."
Jack sighs. "Well, so much for going easy. Deploy ionized plasma cannon. Follow it up with a Thalaron radiation release."
The tactical officer nods. "Aye Sir. We've got time, but it'll be close. Thirty seconds to impact, twenty seconds to IP cannon, twenty eight seconds to thalaron deployment."
"Good. OPS, get a holding beam on that ship once the thalaron radiation has been deployed. I don't want them denting my new ship."
"Aye Sir. Sir, the computer is ready to accept authorization to deploy class-A weaponry."
Jack nods and stands. "Okay, let's bring it. Captain Jack Dianne. Deployment of class-A weaponry authorized. 92012."
A deep, manly computer voice replies. "Voice, DNA, and Number codes recognized. Provide next code."
The first officer stands. "Commander Nitis Po. Deployment of class-A weaponry authorized. 91745."
The computer voice sounds out again. "Voice, DNA, and Number codes recognized. Provide next code."
The tactical officer obliges. "Lieutenant Commander Goar Nesi. Deployment of class-A weaponry authorized. 21594."
The computer voice. "Voice, DNA, and Number codes recognized. Ship's EI authorizes class-A weapons deployment. Firing controls unlocked."
Jack remains standing as the next pirate salvo hits the ship. "Fire."
A bright white energy beam lances from the midsection of the Super Dreadnaught to the pirate vessel. The pirate ship's shields rapidly begin to drain.
A bright white energy beam lances from the midsection of the Super Dreadnaught to the pirate vessel. The pirate ship's shields rapidly begin to drain. Davis and the others simply look on in silence, Lewis loosens his grip on the object in his pocket.
The beam stops immediately after the pirate ship's shields go down, and a bright green light flashes from the Xanthalian ship to the pirate vessel. The helm officer deftly steers the ship out of the way to starboard, as the OPS officer uses a holding beam to push the pirate ship away to port. The Xanthalian ship passes the pirate vessel with only a few yards to spare. The OPS officer reports. "Sensors confirm Thalaron deployment. All organic life aboard the pirate vessel has been calcified."
Jack grimaces. "Beam the rocks into space. Tag their ship for pickup by a Xanthalian salvage vessel. Stand down to yellow alert." The ambient lights go up to 90%, and the flashing red lights go out, replaced by a constant yellow light.
"Vessel has been tagged for salvage, remains of the crew have been beamed into space."
Jack sighs. "Okay. Helm, resume course for Kecha."
"Aye Sir. Going to slipstream... Now."
Jack looks over at the Kechans. "Are you all right?"

Jack looks over at the Kechans. "Are you all right?" "Fine" they all answer as one, Davis heaved a truly huge sigh of relief.
Jack smiles. "Would you all care to man the key positions on the bridge? My treat. OPS, Tactical, and Helm; pick amongst yourselves."
Jack smiles. "Would you all care to man the key positions on the bridge? My treat. OPS, Tactical, and Helm; pick amongst yourselves." They all look around for a moment "Helm" Lewis said finally "OPS" Hacker said "Tactical" Davis said simply.
Jack smiles and nods to each of the on duty officers in succession. "You're relieved." He looks back at the Kechans. "Okay, take your stations."
Jack smiles and nods to each of the on duty officers in succession. "You're relieved." He looks back at the Kechans. "Okay, take your stations." Each of the 3 Kechans moved swiftly to their respectivley chosen Stations, quickly scanning the controlls and such, they commited the Stations layouts to memory.
Jack smiles. "Don't work too hard. Computer, translate bridge OPS, Helm, and Tactical console readouts and controls to Kechan."
The displays on the consoles go dark for a moment, then reappear, all of the buttons and displays now in standard Kechan language.
Jack smiles. "Don't work too hard. Computer, translate bridge OPS, Helm, and Tactical console readouts and controls to Kechan."
The displays on the consoles go dark for a moment, then reappear, all of the buttons and displays now in standard Kechan language. "Just a habit" they all responded about at the same time, while scanning their Stations as well.
"Helm, bring us out of slipstream. Move to orbit the Kechan capital. Tactical, bring the vessel to normal alert status. OPS, contact the Kechans and tell them we're delivering you and Lewis back to them."
"Helm, bring us out of slipstream. Move to orbit the Kechan capital. Tactical, bring the vessel to normal alert status. OPS, contact the Kechans and tell them we're delivering you and Lewis back to them." 3 sharp "Aye"s were his response, and his orders were carried out sharply.
Jack smiles. "Tell me again why you all aren't ship commanders. You make fine officers. Well Hacker, are your fellow citizens ready to recieve you and your shuttle?"
Jack smiles. "Tell me again why you all aren't ship commanders. You make fine officers. Well Hacker, are your fellow citizens ready to recieve you and your shuttle?" "You know why I'm not a Co Jack" Davis said "Lack of experience" Lewis said, "Not in the Space Navy anymore" Hacker said, then, in asnwer to Jack's questiond directed at him "The OBF is signalling they can recieve any time now"
Jack stands. "Well, I'll see you two later then. I'll take good care of Davis for you. Your shuttle is waiting in our cargo bay."
OOC: TG sent. You read, yes?
Jack stands. "Well, I'll see you two later then. I'll take good care of Davis for you. Your shuttle is waiting in our cargo bay."
OOC: Kecha, I'm going to send you a TG within the next 60 seconds or so. Hacker and Lewis left for their Shuttle, Davis remained behind.
OOC: OK.
The two Xanthalian officers retake their stations at Helm and OPS, translating their consoles back to Xanthalian as they do; no need to make things more complex than they need to be. Jack addresses his OPS officer. "Open the shuttlebay doors and let our friends out."
"Aye Sir. Bay doors open. They can leave whenever they are ready."

"Aye Sir. Bay doors open. They can leave whenever they are ready."
The Sir Galahad departed slowly, and docked with the OBF.
OOC: I replied to your T-gram.
"Shuttle has left the bay. Closing doors."
Jack stands. "Well then, our work is done here. Commander, you have the bridge."
Jack walks to Davis and places a hand around her shoulder. "Are you ready to start?"
"Shuttle has left the bay. Closing doors."
Jack stands. "Well then, our work is done here. Commander, you have the bridge."
Jack walks to Davis and places a hand around her shoulder. "Are you ready to start?" Davis closed her eyes "No, let's do it anyhow though"
OOC: My favorite answer to "Are you ready" in RL .
Jack chuckles. "They say that if you feel ready you probably aren't. Let's do this. First, we need to establish you here. You have two options: You can remain a civilian on board, have free reign of most of the ship and be disallowed from taking part in it's operations... or I can commission you as an Ensign and allow you to function as a part of the crew while you're aboard. It's your choice."

Jack smiles and gives Davis a friendly slap on the back. "I had a feeling you'd say that. Shall I show you to your quarters? Since you've decided to become a crewmember you'll be sharing a room with another Ensign, but your shifts are alternate, so you won't interfere with one another overmuch."
Jack smiles and gives Davis a friendly slap on the back. "I had a feeling you'd say that. Shall I show you to your quarters? "Yeah, sounds like a good idea" Davis said, then she shuddered slightly.
Jack nods and steps into the turbolift.
Jack nods and steps into the turbolift. Davis follows him quietly, shivering slightly.
The turbolift doors close. Jack speaks. "Deck seven." The turbolift starts down as Jack addresses Davis now that the two are out of sight of the bridge crew. "What's wrong?"

Jack nods and chuckles. "Well, I'd give you a hug, but I think my crew would take it the wrong way when we got off the lift."
Jack nods and chuckles. "Well, I'd give you a hug, but I think my crew would take it the wrong way when we got off the lift." Davis smiled "I'll be OK, this isn't a normal chill anyway"
Jack nods. "I know. Don't worry about it. You'll be facing a lot of things you've been avoiding while you're here. Relax. When you go back to Lewis and Hacker they won't even recognize you, you'll be a whole new person, stronger in mind and body." The turbolift comes to a halt and Jack exits, walking down the hallway.

Davis follows him quietly, still shivering, she didn't know if anything was wrong with her bodilly, she was attractive enough to her knowledge, and physically fit as well, oh well, things could get confusing.
The two pass about a dozen doors on either side of the corridor before they reach a door numbered 7-19-4. Jack stops here and presses a small pad beside the sliding door. The door opens and Jack motions Davis inside. "Behold, your new room."
OOC: That's it, I'm turning in. 'Night.

OOC: That's it, I'm turning in. 'Night. Davis walks inand looks around.
OOC: Fair night to you.
OOC: Meh, one more.
IC: The room isn't big, but it is not small either; perhaps seven by seven meters. There are two beds, one on either side of the room, and two closets. There is a small replicator on one wall, and a miniature enclosed bathroom against the other. There is a sonic shower in the far left corner, and the room has a small window looking out into space. The floor is carpeted, but the walls are bare. These quarters are obviously utilitarian. They have to be, in order to fit the entire crew aboard ship. Jack walks to the replicator and begins pressing buttons. "What area do you want to work in?" He asks. "Science? Medical? Operations? Security/Tactical? Helm? Engineering?"

"Well, Security/Tactical sounds about right, I did spend a short stint on a Heavy Weapons Squad in the OBF Security Forces, then again, I did alot of things in the Armada"
The replicator glows and Jack takes out a uniform (think Star Trek: TNG type, with silver for the colored area), which he hands to Davis. "You'll need to put this on." He says. "You can use the sonic shower as a changing room."

"You can use the sonic shower as a changing room." "Sure" she said, she walked into the shower and changed quickly, as she did so it reminded her of her early days in the KSN, now called the KAR, as she was doing so she asked Jack "My KNPD uniform is KNPD property, so I can't get rid of it, should I just stow it?"
Jack nods. "Your locker will do. It's keyed to your fingerprint. Or at least it will be, after you open it for the first time."
Jack nods. "Your locker will do. It's keyed to your fingerprint. Or at least it will be, after you open it for the first time." "So it's like a palm pad or something?"
Jack strides over to the locker and points to a small pad next to the handle. "Just put your finger here to set the lock."
Jack strides over to the locker and points to a small pad next to the handle. "Just put your finger here to set the lock." Davis did as he said, still shivering even now.
The locker pops open. Inside is a small 3X2X6 foot space, containing shelving and a clothes rack.

OOC: Title change!
Jack nods. "Okay Ensign. Attention!"
OOC: Title change!
Jack nods. "Okay Ensign. Attention!" Davis jerked rigid and spun around on an old reflex, snapping to attention in Xanthalian style.
OOC: She was just observing.
Jack smiles. He reaches out and pins a single golden rank pip on Davis' collar, indicating her Ensign status. He then attaches a communicator badge to the left chest of the uniform. "Adriane Davis, I hereby commission you as an officer of the Xanthalian Imperial Armada. You are granted the provisional rank of Ensign, and all the privileges and responsibilities thereof. Now repeat after me the Pledge of Duty."
Jack recites the pledge in sections, awaiting Davis' reply at the end of each pause. "I, Adriane Davis, pledge as an officer of the Xanthalian Imperial Armada... to put the good of the many before the good of the few... to seek justice even when justice seems impossible... to obey the orders of my superior officers and the laws of the nation of Xanthal... and to sacrifice myself if necessary for the protection of this ship, the Empire, and the allies of the Empire... I pledge this of my own free will and with all my being will I adhere to what I have pledged... with the universes as my witness."

"I, Adriane Davis, pledge as an officer of the Xanthalian Imperial Armada..." OOC: OK, I personally believe if we go through the whole Pledge of Duty in little post-by-post snippets, it'll get bothersome, kind of like a Golfer relaxing with a portable Zen Garden before each put, but anyway.........that's the first time in ages I've use the word "Golfer" wierd how I noticed that.
OOC: *sigh* It's not that long... What do you suggest?
OOC: *sigh* It's not that long... What do you suggest? OOC: Just have him say it and I'll have Davis repeeat it, we'll each do our part in one post, OK?

Davis finished speaking and fell silent, what she didn't tell him, but he probably knew, was that the Holy Empire of Kecha was where her loyalties would go first if it came down to it, but, in this situation, it shouldn't.
Jack shrugs, perfectly aware of what was going through her head. "Kecha is our ally, so there should be nothing to worry about. I'm curious though, I was reading up on Kechan history recently... What is your opinion on the actions of your countrymen regarding the false accusation of Xanthal in connection with the security crisis of 1989?"
OOC: Sorry if your date for it is inconsistant. I created my timeline without cross-refrencing anyone elses' dates.

OOC: Correct. Don't feel intimidated or anything, Jack's not ready to pull a phaser on Davis.
OOC: Correct. Don't feel intimidated or anything, Jack's not ready to pull a phaser on Davis. OOC: I know, I'm not worried.
IC: Davis looked at Jack for a moment, as if considering him "I personally feel my nation's actions were perfectly justified, all evidence is said to have been pointing towards a need for such action"
Jack nods. "Good. You're absolutely right. Though we were in the end found to be innocent of wrongdoing, it would have been foolish for the IDI to allow a potential threat to go unaddressed. I expect that same kind of mindset while you're aboard my ship. Keep in mind, this is a Super Dreadnaught class ship, the second most powerful vessel class in the Armada. We are aboard a warship. Though we should not act rashly, always remember that we are deployed to seek out and destroy enemy ships. Do not let overtures of diplomacy cloud your judgement. The Empire only deploys the Super Andromedas when it has established a definate threat to be eliminated. When that happens, we must be prepared to complete that directive. This is especially important to you, who will be a part of organizing and carrying out both internal and external defense of the ship. Remember: Diplomacy is not your job. Capturing or killing the enemy is."

Jack nods. "I like mine better." He laughs. "Now, the first stage of your stay here will be to have your physical damage repaired. After that you'll have a short break from treatment to aquaint yourself with your crewmen and duties. You should have your first session with the ship's counselor within the week."
Jack nods. "I like mine better." He laughs. "Now, the first stage of your stay here will be to have your physical damage repaired. After that you'll have a short break from treatment to aquaint yourself with your crewmen and duties. You should have your first session with the ship's counselor within the week." "Aye, anything esle sir?"
Jack shakes his head. "You can find your own way to sickbay?"
Jack shakes his head. "You can find your own way to sickbay?" "Yessir, I toured one of the Andromeda-Class vessels run by the KAR, unless there's a truly major difference I'll be OK"
Jack raises his eyebrow. "The Andromeda class has a completely different layout than the Dreadnaught series. Oh well, the computer will still give you directions, just ask. You'll be okay then?"
Jack raises his eyebrow. "The Andromeda class has a completely different layout than the Dreadnaught series. Oh well, the computer will still give you directions, just ask. You'll be okay then?" "As close as possible" Davis said, she shivered once more.
Jack looks concerned. "Would you rather I take you there?"
Jack looks concerned. "Would you rather I take you there?" "That'd probably work better"
Jack nods. "Okay. Ready to go now?"
Jack nods. "Okay. Ready to go now?" "Yeah, I'm ready" she started into constant shivering again.
Jack pulls a small plastic object from his pocket and offers it to Davis. "Here, take this."
OOC: How did you get a rank of "Postmaster-General"?
Jack pulls a small plastic object from his pocket and offers it to Davis. "Here, take this."
OOC: How did you get a rank of "Postmaster-General"? OOC: By racking up a big post count.
IC: "What is it anyhow?" Davis asked as she looked at it.
Jack takes a deep breath. "Just take it. It will make you feel better."
Jack takes a deep breath. "Just take it. It will make you feel better." She took it and took a deep breath "OK, now I'm ready"
The device glows a barely detectable soft white and a warm sensation flows soothingly through Davis' body. Jack observes her reaction. "Is that better?"

Jack nods and exits the room, heading for sickbay.
Jack nods and exits the room, heading for sickbay. Davis followed him in silence, still shivering slightly, but not so much.
The two make it to sickbay and Jack halts at the door. "Here we are. Regulation prohibits me from entering without reason, so you're on your own here. The doctor will come speak to you inside."

"A cracy Regulation in my opinion, but I cn see how it makes some sense, see you later sir" she turned to walk in.
OOC: Just in case you want to slip in a few more words or something.
Jack walks off down the corridor, heading back to his duties.
#Go on, I'll RP the doctor.#

#Go on, I'll RP the doctor.# OOC: OK.
IC: Davis walked into the Sickbay and looked around.
The sickbay is very large. There are a number of replicators, biobeds, and various other medical equipment. The medical staff is minimal at the moment, due to the lack of need; only two crewmembers besides Davis are in sickbay, and those for minor ailments. The doctor on duty, a tall male Human, walks over to Davis. "Hello there! What can I do for you?"

Davis explains her physical damages to him, how they were treated originally, and how long ago they occured(Several years).
The doctor nods and beckons her over to a biobed. "Is modesty an issue for you? Generally we don't afford privacy to patients that need to undress, but I'm aware that many cultures are less... comfortable with being naked in public than we are."

"Kechans are raised as soldiers, we showered together in Training, all of us in the same shower areas, barracks are operated in similar fashion, modesty isn't an issue most of the time" Davis said "Disrobe?" she asked, obviousley asking if he wanted her to undress.
The doctor nods. "Indeed." He begins working on his console, programming the biobed to preform the procedures it will have to in order to repair Davis' injuries.
The doctor nods. "Indeed." He begins working on his console, programming the biobed to preform the procedures it will have to in order to repair Davis' injuries. "How far should I undress? totally?" Davis asks, preparing to remove her uniform.
The doctor shrugs. "The overgarments need to go. Beyond that, do what feels good to you." He finishes programming the biobed and looks up at his patient. "Okay then. Once you've taken off your garments, lay on the biobed."

As Davis lays down, an arch comes up from both sides of the biobed, closing over her body. The doctor calls out. "Relax now, it's a painless process but it will definately feel strange to you. Having your wounds healed on the submolecular level kind of confounds the senses."

"Here we go then." The biobed activates and Davis' injuries fade away as her normal cellular structure is restored to the affected areas.
"Here we go then." The biobed activates and Davis' injuries fade away as her normal cellular structure is restored to the affected areas. Davis simply held still and tried not to shiver.
The biobed ceases it's activity and the arch opens up again, sliding into the base of the contraption. The doctor walks to Davis' side and moves a small medical scanner over the areas that have been treated. A moment later he smiles and nods in satisfaction and puts the scanner back in his pocket, offering Davis a hand up. "Congratulations. Everything in your body is now officially back the way it's supposed to be."

The doctor smiles, but still looks bothered. "What's with that shiver of yours? You've been doing it since you came in here."
The doctor smiles, but still looks bothered. "What's with that shiver of yours? You've been doing it since you came in here." "It's not physical Dr. just phsycological I guess the word is, I was exposed to Vacuum during my career in the KAR, back when it was the KSN"
"Ah. Well, that's not my department. Are you scheduled to see the counselor about it?"
"Ah. Well, that's not my department. Are you scheduled to see the counselor about it?" "Yessir, I am, soon enough, the Captain set up the meeting as I take it"
"Well then, my job is done. Would you like a calming drug to take until you see the counselor?"
"Well then, my job is done. Would you like a calming drug to take until you see the counselor?" "That would possibly help, so long as it's a tough medicine"
The doctor raises an eyebrow. "Tough, eh?"
He walks over to a replicator. "Computer, one week's worth of Opithaxaline. Authorization Dr. Hertz, 79312." A small pill container appears in the replicator, and the doctor hands it to Davis. "Take one of these every twelve hours, starting before you go to sleep tonight. And don't take them more often than I say, or you'll end up right back here in a vegetative state. It's just that good. Doesn't get more powerful than Opithaxaline. You might feel a little dizzy after you take it, but not enough to impair you. Now then, be off with you. I'm sure you have plenty to do without listening to me babble on."

The doctor smiles and continues his work.
OOC: Davis kind of has some spare time now before she decides to go to the security office and report to the head officer there. So if there's something she wants to do, you can RP that now.

So if there's something she wants to do, you can RP that now.Davis whent back to the Quarters she was supposed to use and waited for awhile, then she got up and walked swiflt to the Security Office, she looked at it as she approached the entranceway.
OOC: Had nothing else to do.
The office is as busy as ever, with around two dozen people inside.
The office is as busy as ever, with around two dozen people inside. Davis pauses for a moment, and quietly walks in, her eyes scanning for the Senior Officer inside, as she stands somewhat rigidly still.
A Lieutenant Commander walks over to her. She is female, about five and a half feet tall, and looks to have Elven, Than, and Draconic blood in her. She is quite beautiful, in an eerie sort of way. "Yes Ensign?"

The LC laughs. "At ease, Adriane. I like my officers on a first name basis, so long as you remember who's in charge. My name is Intarro Dresith. Don't worry if you need to ask me a few times before you memorize it. Mixed heritage means mixed names."

Don't worry if you need to ask me a few times before you memorize it. Mixed heritage means mixed names." "Perfectly understandable Ma'am" she slipped into an at-ease position and mentally sighed in relief, then she shivered again, somewhat violently.
Intarro points. "That's your station. You'll be monitoring the security status of decks five through nine. Not an exciting job, but it is your first day."
Intarro points. "That's your station. You'll be monitoring the security status of decks five through nine. Not an exciting job, but it is your first day." "Yes Ma'am, is there anything else before I start Ma'am?"
"You know how to work the panels?"
"You know how to work the panels?" "Can't read a lick of Xanthalian Ma'am, that was the job of Hacker"
"That could be problematic. I'll take note of that. Well, all Xanthalian fleet vessels have panels that can switch language labels. Take your station and instruct the computer to translate your console for you."
"That could be problematic. I'll take note of that. Well, all Xanthalian fleet vessels have panels that can switch language labels. Take your station and instruct the computer to translate your console for you." "Aye Ma'am" Davis took her station silently and instructed her panel to translate over from Xanthalian to Kechan.
The panel does so, and thus begins a long and uneventful shift of watching over decks five, six, seven, eight, and nine.
OOC: You can skip to the end of her shift if you want; that'll be about six hours.

OOC: You can skip to the end of her shift if you want; that'll be about six hours. Davis worked through the next 6 hours, exactly, as she liked to do a full job, at the end she glanced at her watch, her shift read as over, she closed her eyes for a moment and tried to stop shivering, as she had started up again 5 minutes ago.
A strikingly handsome Than male walks up to her and waits to take her place.
A strikingly handsome Than male walks up to her and waits to take her place. She stood up, still shivering like a leaf "You on this shift?" she asked quietly.
The Than nods, looking at the panel. His buglike mandibles move as he clicks and whistles in his native language. The ship's AI translates his speech into Kechan for Davis as he goes. "Kechan?"

The Than shrugs. "Well, welcome aboard."
The Than shrugs. "Well, welcome aboard." "Thanks, I've got to get going" Davis said, then she coughed just slightly "Sorry, clearing my throat, well, see you later maybe" she let him take his station.
He sits down. "Computer, translate console to Thanic." The display shifts to one of many simple symbols and lines. He begins working.
OOC: Let her decide what to do next. I recommend eating (the messhall) or sleeping (her room).
He sits down. "Computer, translate console to Thanic." The display shifts to one of many simple symbols and lines. He begins working.
OOC: Let her decide what to do next. I recommend eating (the messhall) or sleeping (her room). Davis had just left the Security Office and heard the sound of the door sliding shut behind her when her stomach rumbled, she looked down and realized she was hungry, she started walking and eventually wandered into the Mess Hall, she stopped after entering and did her usuall once-over to get the layout of the place, and see how many people were there.
The messhall is very nice, especially considering that this is a warship. Two, four, and six person tables are scattered about the spacious 100 by 120 foot room. Crewmembers of a rainbow of species and races sit about the room eating, drinking, and socializing. On one end of the room is a sizable bar, and behind that is a miniature kitchen containing replicators and food preparation materials for more traditional meals. A well-dressed civilian wait-staff takes orders from the tables and delivers food to the crew. The bar is tended by twin female elves.

Davis simply looked around a moment longer, then walked over to one of the smaller two-person tables, walked over, and sat down for a moment, still shivering.
A waitress of Vampiric decent walks up to Davis and flashes the fanged smile that only vampires can do. "May I take your order?"
A waitress of Vampiric decent walks up to Davis and flashes the fanged smile that only vampires can manage. "May I take your order?" Davis had been thinking deeply, and concentrating on stopping herself from shivering "Wha-what?" she said, looking up with a start.
The waitress smiles even more broadly in amusement. "I said, may I take your order?"
The waitress smiles even more broadly in amusement. "I said, may I take your order?" "Yeah, sure, stop me if this is a stupid question, but do you have any sort of sandwiches you serve in here?" to explain her somewhat shakey manner she added "I'm new here, sorry"
"We have replicators young lady, we serve everything here."
"We have replicators young lady, we serve everything here." "Sorry, like I said, stupid question, can I just get a hamburger then?"
OOC: My mind is slow today, and my knees hurt , dangit, I need some painkillers! 'scuze me.
"No question is a stupid question. I'll be back in a minute with your burger." The waitress goes to the kitchen to fetch Davis' meal. Through the main doors of the messhall comes Jack, all smiles, chatting with a Than woman. Seeing Davis, Jack excuses himself from his company and sits opposite her. "How did it go?"

"Oh, fine, fine" Davis said, perking up "I sat through six hours of nothing, now I know how the boys and girls in Surveilance felt back when I was with the KSN, I always was a Field Officer, much more fast-paced, know what I mean sir?"
Jack looks thoughtful. "Imperial Armada crewmembers rarely get to go face to face with the enemy. We just pit our metal box against their metal box and press buttons on computer terminals to win. Engineers get all the active work on board an Armada ship. They need to keep everything fine-tuned and in tip-top shape for our confrontations."

Engineers get all the active work on board an Armada ship. They need to keep everything fine-tuned and in tip-top shape for our confrontations." Davis laughed, drawing some casual attention from a few people, "That's where the Imperial Armada and the Armada Royale differ sir, the Armada Royale like to fire off missiles at a distance for a bit, then close with beam weapons, then get in REALLY close for some boarding action" she paused "That's the stuff I'm told they train for mostly anyhow"
Jack shrugs. "That's what our military is for. They provide the troop contingents that fly aboard XIA vessels."
Jack shrugs. "That's what our military is for. They provide the troop contingents that fly aboard XIA vessels." "Same with us, the troops who board from our ships are usually National Guard, a mix of Heavy, Light, and Assault troops, from what I hear, we just prefer the close-in aproach, come in and look scary, the enemy is hit worse phsycologically"
"Well, Armada officers are trained in hand-to-hand combat and phaser use for away missions and internal ship defense, but our forte is managing the ship itself." The waitress returns with Davis' food and puts it in front of her. Jack orders a tuna fish sandwich. The waitress leaves again to get Jacks order.

"Phasers, yeah I noticed that, we have the technology for things like that, but we prefer blades and guns over beams when it comes to personell, just a tried-and-true method is all"
Jack nods as the waitress returns with his sandwich and puts it in front of him. "It really is a matter of preference." He begins eating his sandwich and the glass of water that came with it.

Jack eats in silence for three minutes until his sandwich is gone. He then rises. "Well, it's late. I'm gonna turn in."
Jack eats in silence for three minutes until his sandwich is gone. He then rises. "Well, it's late. I'm gonna turn in." Davis, having eaten a bit slower, looks up "If you say so sir, I'll probably end up doing the same if I'm not needed soon"
Jack laughs. "You're off duty, Ensign. If anyone wants you to work, tell them to screw off."
Jack laughs. "You're off duty, Ensign. If anyone wants you to work, tell them to screw off." Davis had just finished when he said that, and she allmost spat her food out in a fit of laughter, she stopped herself with heroic effort, and swallowed "Sure thing sir, anything I can do for you before you and me both leave?"
Jack holds back what threatens to become a fit of uncontrollable laughter. "I'm not falling into my own trap. Good night!" He turns and walks out of the messhall heading for his quarters, giggling insanely the whole way.

Davis just chuckled quietly for a moment, then sat back and started thinking, examining the others in the Mess Hall silently.
She gets a few polite nods from those who notice her looking at them as the waitress clears the table and heads back to the kitchen.
She gets a few polite nods from those who notice her looking at them as the waitress clears the table and heads back to the kitchen. She nodded in return each time, eventually she got to brooding again, and that got her to shivering, after awhile she decided some sleep would possibly help her, and stood up, and made her way to the door.
OOC: Skip ahead to the counselor visit? If yes, feel free to take it from there.
OOC: Skip ahead to the counselor visit? If yes, feel free to take it from there. OOC: Alright, good plan, skipping forward.
IC: Davis had been aboard the ship for a short while now, and it was time for her to meet the Councelor, she simply waited for a free time in her schedule, and made her way the the Councelor's Office.
The ship's counselor sits in her office, waiting for a patient. The roomis lavishly and comfortably furnished, promoting the kind of calm feelings that made her work so much easier. Bored, she looks at herself in the mirror. A middle-aged human female with dark blonde hair and soft green eyes stares back at her through the glass. She sighs. Age had been kind to her. She was slightly built, presenting a harmless, friendly person for patients to talk to. She was good at what she did, but she had requested a transfer to a scientific position, the hundreds of troubles she had addressed in her patients were beginning to weigh heavily on her, and she had already spent several more years than most in her position. She looks away from the mirror and looks intently at the door, willing somebody to come in and break the boredom of sitting without task in this room.

Her wish was granted as Davis walked into the room and snapped to attention "Ma'am, Ensing Adriane Davis, I'm here on an appointment"
The counselor would have laughed if not for her years of training. As it was, she smiled politely at the saluting Davis. "Saluting the civilian counselor? I'm honored. Come in, come in. And get out of that rediculous pose, leave the Armada outside."

And get out of that rediculous pose, leave the Armada outside." "Training Ma'am, I'm a Kecha, it's drilled into me by yeas of service and training" she relaxed her stance none-the-less, and walked into the room.
"Do you salute everyone?"
"Do you salute everyone?" "Usually when in uniform Ma'am, after I left the KSN, I joined the KNPD"
The counselor nods, noting the fact. "Well, sit down." She gestures to three chairs, one straight and made of wood, one moderately furnished with a light fabric covering and leaning back about ten degrees, and one thickly padded and comfortably leaned back to thirty degrees.

She gestures to three chairs, one straight and made of wood, one moderately furnished with a light fabric covering and leaning back about ten degrees, and one thickly padded and comfortably leaned back to thirty degrees. "Ummm" Davis said "Curses" she muttered to herself, after a mometn she chose the wooden chair and sat down.
The counselor nods. "Hmm..." She notes Davis' choice of seating. "So then, my name is Ashley Parks. And yours is?"
The counselor nods. "Hmm..." She notes Davis' choice of seating. "So then, my name is Ashley Parks. And yours is?" "Adriane Davis" Davis shivered once more, then managed to settle herself.
Ashley nods. "And what can I help you with today?"
Ashley nods. "And what can I help you with today?" Davis took a deep breath and proceeded to tell Ashley the entire story of why she was in Ashley's office now:
"I was born near a big Navy Base on Central Island, in a town called Hacksburg, my family had a long history with the Navy, so, after I'd gone through my training in the appropriate Academy, I decided that I'd go ahead and join the Navy, they didn't accept me" she sighed again "Something about a unexplainable fear of water, so I did the next best thing, I joined the Space Navy, and they did accept me for service, I advanced fairly quickly, and I made the rank of Lieutenant Commander, some time later Kecha bought those 5 Andromeda-Class starships from Xanthal, I heard word that I was on the top of the list of potential Captains, naturally I was excited, but then something happened, I was on duty and aboard the Orbital Building Facility, I met a guy named George Kogen early on in my Space Navy career, he'd been a nit quicker to advance than I was usually, but we'd both made LC around the same time, I was working in shifts with him as a Landing Bay Supervisor for one of the Secondary Docking Areas of the OBF at the time as the Space Navy had nothing better for me or him to do, he came over before the scheduled rotation one time and we got to talking, I wasn't paying attention to my panel and something happened, whatever it was resulted in an explosion that caused a breach in the Landing Bay we were in, Everything was thrown into total chaos, stuff and people flying everywhere, in the first 5 seconds alone I swear I saw some 20 guys fly out into space, me and him whent flying and managed to stop ourselves short of the edge of the Bay, then, a large piece of debris came flying at us from further in the Bay, he somehow managed to toss me over away and my uniform snagged on a Service Crane, the debris hit him and he whent flying out, all I got was a broken knee and some lung trauma, physically anyhow"
She stopped "Well, that's the story"
"And you feel guilty because of this?"
"And you feel guilty because of this?" "Well yeah, I couldv'r probably pulled him over with me, instead I just sat there and watched him get flung out to die in Outer Space, and I'm told that's not a pleasant way to go"
"If you had grabbed him, your combined weight would have certainly torn the uniform and killed you both. Besides, you were scared; disoriented. Things were happening quickly, and you were losing oxygen. You could not be expected to analyze a way to save him under such conditions."
"If you had grabbed him, your combined weight would have certainly torn the uniform and killed you both. Besides, you were scared; disoriented. Things were happening quickly, and you were losing oxygen. You could not be expected to analyze a way to save him under such conditions." "Yeah, I personally think I could've done that, the Space Navy trains people to handle things like that, I was never on a DCC Crew, so I didn't get the extra training, but I still coud've tried"
"Hmm..." Ashley makes mental note of the statement. "And what was the official stance of the Space Navy on this? I assume they released a report?"
"Hmm..." Ashley makes mental note of the statement. "And what was the official stance of the Space Navy on this? I assume they released a report?" "When I told them I'd been paying less attnetion than is normal to my panel, which is how I monitored my post, some Vice Admiral tried to get me court martialed for negligence, I wasn't CMed, but I knew I was Blacklisted and in the end I just resigned my Commision out of shame, now I'm holding a Militia Commision, the Space Navy'll only call me in a dire emergencey"
OOC: Ooh... This could be a mystery storyline!
"Did they ever actually determine that the accident happened as a result of anything you did? That you could have stopped it? Or did they just leave it at your confession?"
OOC: Ooh... This could be a mystery storyline!
"Did they ever actually determine that the accident happened as a result of anything you did? That you could have stopped it? Or did they just leave it at your confession?" "They made a show of studying it, to try and find who or what was at fault, but you could tell they just wanted to pin it on me and be done with it, I was the person in charge of that Landing Bay at the time" she paused "Someone said I couldn't have seen the problem coming, and if I had I'd have had to little time to act, but that was shouted down fast"
The counselor nods and stands up pointing to the door. "Then it sounds to me like you need to clarify the reality of the situation before you come back to me. I have a feeling that when you get the full picture you won't need a counselor anymore." She smiles. "Go find the captain and ask him to help you; he's a kind fellow. Good luck."

Davis sighed "Thank Doc', with the way things have gone for me, I'll need it" with that, she left and whent in search of the Captain.
The captain sits on the bridge, drinking a cup of green tea as he sits in his chair, waiting for something exciting to happen.
OOC: If she addresses the computer and asks, it will tell her where he is.

IC: Davis eventually got annoyed with wandering all over the ship, and so she simply posed the AI a simple question "Where is the Captain?"
"The Captain is on the Bridge."
"The Captain is on the Bridge" "Thanks" Davis said, and made her way to the Bridge, pausing outside the doors when she got there.
Jack finishes his tea and his shift simultaneously. He stands and begins walking for the door. "You have the bridge Commander."
Jack finishes his tea and his shift simultaneously. He stands and begins walking for the door. "You have the bridge Commander." As he walks out the door, he walks into Davis, causing both of them to shout in shock and fall over, and causing Davis to reach, out of old instinct, for a gun that wasn't even there on her waist.
Jack shakes his head to clear it. "Hello there! Can I help you?" He stands up and offers Davis a hand.
Jack shakes his head to clear it. "Hello there! Can I help you?" He stands up and offers Davis a hand. Davis took his hand and hauled herself up "The Councelor told me to ask you for help" she said "Don't know what she meant per se, but, here I am"
Jack blinks in confusion. "Help? With what?"
Jack blinks in confusion. "Help? With what?" "With figuring out my problems I suppose"
Jack tilts his head. "Eh? I thought that was her job?"
Jack tilts his head. "Eh? I thought that was her job?" "So did I sir, apparently she thinks you can do it better than she can in this case" Davis said, shivering again, "Darn drugs aren't working" she muttered to herself.
The captain shrugs. "I can't do anything with such sketchy information. Now if you have a specific request, I'll be glad to help you; but I'm not going to guess."
The captain shrugs. "I can't do anything with such sketchy information. Now if you have a specific request, I'll be glad to help you; but I'm not going to guess." "She said I need to clarify the reality of the situation, something about getting the big picture" then she repeated the information about the investigation, the Vice Admiral who tried to Court Martial her, etc...
Jack looks thoughtful. "They didn't go very deep, did they? Well, let's go on an information hunt, shall we? We have no mission at the moment, so we're free to wander about the galaxy. I'm feeling saucy! Let's pay a visit to this station and download their database!" He turns on his heel and reenters the bridge. "Helm, set course as Ensign Davis directs you!" He turns to Davis. "Where is this base?"

"Where is this base?" OOC: The station she speaks of is the massive Orbital Building Facility, Kecha's only Space Station, they share it with the Menelmacari, splitting it in twain, but they still have alot of room.
IC: "It's that massive one in orbit over the Kechan landmass" Davis gave the Helmsman the exact coordinates required to approach the OBF on it's Primary Approach Lane(PAL), and the Frequencey by which to contact them, then she seemed to think "I'm told the Space Navy has enlarged alot, you may want to be carefull moving in"
Jack smiles. "We're allies! We're not going to do anything illegal, so we've got nothing to hide! Helm, Engage!"
The ship goes through a transdimensional gateway and appears next to the station. "OPS, hail the station and request routine access to their database."
"Aye Sir. Requesting now."
Jack smiles. "We're allies! We're not going to do anything illegal, so we've got nothing to hide! Helm, Engage!"
The ship goes through a transdimensional gateway and appears next to the station. "OPS, hail the station and request routine access to their database."
"Aye Sir. Requesting now." The OBF replied "State reason for your request please"
"Protocol doesn't require us to give a reason you know, but I'll give you one nonetheless. We need to look up some old information on a matter deeply concerning the crew of this vessel."
"Protocol doesn't require us to give a reason you know, but I'll give you one nonetheless. We need to look up some old information on a matter deeply concerning the crew of this vessel." "We have nothing concerning anything about the crew of a specific XIA vessel, nontheless, you have Purple Link Clearance, have fun sifting through the Pits of Boredom"
"Ah, but you don't know who we have on this vessel..." Jack mutters inaudibly. He speaks up. "Cut the comm link OPS."
"Aye Sir. Link cut."
"And move over. I think Davis has some files she wants to recover."

"Aye Sir. Link cut."
"And move over. I think Davis has some files she wants to recover." Davis sat down as the OPS crewman moved, the first thing she typed in was INITIATE SEARCH PROGRAM, then she typed in SEARCH PERSON: VICE ADMIRAL JOHN WALKER CHAVEZ, she waited while it searched.
The consloe reads: Missing/corrupted data. Retrieve?
The consloe reads: Missing/corrupted data. Retrieve? Davis muttered "Old b@st@rd always was really nervous, smoked alot of cigars to" she typed in RETRIEVE IN 100% FORM
Warning: Access lockout. Assessing strength... Lockout can be overridden. Override?
Warning: Access lockout. Assessing strength... Lockout can be overridden. Override? "REALLY nervous old pig wasn't he" she muttered again WILL OVERRIDE SET OFF SECURITY?
Security protocols can be circumvented. Warning: Taking that action is a violation of Xanthalian and Kechan law. Captain's permission required to execute.
Security protocols can be circumvented. Warning: Taking that action is a violation of Xanthalian and Kechan law. Captain's permission required to execute. Davis turned and explained what she needed to Jack, then she added, allmost to herself "If they find out about this, it could be bad, but your AI says they shouldn't"
Jack shrugs. "There's only one thing that surpasses duty, and that's friends. Oh computer, you're free to violate as many laws as you like for the purpose of this excercise."
The console resumes working: Rerouting security protocols... Circumventing lockout... Downloading data... Data retrieved. Restoring security protocols... Warning; alarm triggered. Blocking alarm signal... Blocked. Security protocols restored. Access was not detected by Kechan Computers. The ship's AI speaks up over the bridge. "Damn I'm good! What else can I do for you? There's nothing more satisfying than outwitting another computer system."

There's nothing more satisfying than outwitting another computer system." "Yeah, take extra care when doing that sort of thing, no offense" she paused "Next I'll need to look up something titled DAVIS, ADRIANE, LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, KSN, TRIAL, should be in the LEGAL section, if not, I know where to go"
"So drab... Security systems, lockouts, hardwired alarms, deleted files, viruses... Override, override, override... I could take over the entire Kechan computer system if I wanted to... Ah well, here's your data. Still no detection on the Kechan's part." The data comes up on the console.

"Bwa hahahahaha! Behold the power of the almightly Xanthalian computer designs! So, anything else you need before I continue my drab task of running the ship's systems?"
"Bwa hahahahaha! Behold the power of the almightly Xanthalian computer designs! So, anything else you need before I continue my drab task of running the ship's systems?" "Yes, can you get me into the Red Level Two Access area?" she asked "Some files on the trial were put in there, probably stuff they didn't want known, but that should have been known, and whatever you do, don't try for Red Level One"
The AI chuckles. "I would too, but unless you need information from there there's not much point. Red Level Two... Found it. Ooh, this actually presents a challenge. Hold on, I need to process this for a while. I'll check my files and have you in within the next five minutes. In the meantime, have some tea!" A cup of tea appears in a teleportation effect on the console.

A cup of tea appears in a teleportation effect on the console. "Yeah, tea is good" Davis said, she turned to Jack "I dont think the ship's AI could breach Red Level One, it's guarded by a sentient AI, and HEAVILY, as it contains things known by only about a dozen people or so"
Jack shrugs. "You're probably right. However, the computer could tap in to the Xanthalian central EI for assistance, and with its help could probably manage to get in."
Jack shrugs. "You're probably right. However, the computer could tap in to the Xanthalian central EI for assistance, and with its help could probably manage to get in." "True, but the AI doesn't just guard against break ins, it monitors the system's interior, it'd find you most probably, and then the entire KAR would be flying here with deadly intent, and it seems most...no all, of the KAR is here anyway"
"Sure, but we'd have gotten in, even if we all got killed because of it. Ah well, it's not as if we need to get in there anyway. Computer, get me some tea too eh? Earl Grey should be nice." A cup of Earl Greay tea appears in his hand. "Ah, what would we do without AIs?" He sips at his tea.

Davis asked in humor, "And yes, you'd have gotten in, and yes, you'd have died in the process, so it's best if we don't try, as I've got a guess as to what's in Red Level One anyhow"
Jack looks interested. "Do tell. Something to pass the time."
Jack looks interested. "Do tell. Something to pass the time." "Well, you'd probably find a few records of some of the Black Ops and such involving the Armada in there, some of the special file on certain Flag Officers have access to, you might even find copies of the Medical Files of some important Kechan people" she stopped as the OBF signalled them "XIA vessel, I am ordered to advise you that KAR procedure Operation Erika is now in progress, and this is not a drill, you are required to cut communications links with this facility, and make no attempt to communicate directly with us or any of our ships untill further notice, we are sorry for any trouble this causes, this is your first of three warnings"
OOC: Something bad happened in another thread.
"Oh dear..." The AI laments. "Well, now or never... C'mon! Go me!... Got it! Restoring all security... Closing channel. Who's the man?! Alright captain, shall I move our asses out of here now?"
Jack nods and sets down his tea. "Do, will you?"
"Slipstream engaged; we're gone. By the way, what the hell is Operation Erika?"

Jack nods and sets down his tea. "Do, will you?"
"Slipstream engaged; we're gone. By the way, what the hell is Operation Erika?" "I think I can answer that qestion" Davis said "Operation Erika is an Armada procedure to be used only in case of internal strife, that is, armed rebellion, civil war, political disruption, etc... what it entails is that every Armada vessel, facility, and base is sent a Code, upon recieving this code they are to stop and stay where they are, accepting no incoming communications, and sending none out, this goes on untill they recieve another Code, telling them the operation is over, they must then send a Counter-Code to let the High Command know they're not corrupted somehow, there's a rumor that ships also have the order to attack anyone who wastes off all 3 of their warnings, but that's just a rumor"
Jack nods. "Good job we didn't have to find out. I wonder what's going on? Oh well, I'm sure that whatever it is has XIGMA scrambling all over the place. They're enthusiastic fellows, those XIGMA employees."
Jack nods. "Good job we didn't have to find out. I wonder what's going on? Oh well, I'm sure that whatever it is has XIGMA scrambling all over the place. They're enthusiastic fellows, those XIGMA employees." "It might be possible for you to tap the News down in Kecha, I don't know if Operation Erika covers that"
"Why bother risking more security breaches than XIGMA already does? Computer, access the XIGMA database; authorization Jack Dianne. 92012."
"Xanthalian Intelligence Gathering and Management Agency database accessed. Specify search topic."
"What's going on in Kecha that they've put Operation Erika into action?"
"Searching... Data found.
XIGMA Intelligence report: Information sources: Agent 39293, Agent 2893, Agent 423, Agent 62, Communications monitoring station 390, Communications monitoring station 96, XAS-20 AI, XAS-14 AI, XAS-207 AI, Covert government informant 44.
Current data on situation:
..."
OOC: You need to insert the details, since I have no clue personally what's going on. You can leave the super-secret stuff out, of course, but XIGMA will probably have almost everything on the situation. They run deep intelligence everywhere; allied, neutral, and enemy nations alike.
Apparently, a massive quake has occured in the Capitsal of Kecha, caused by some sort of machine, the whole country is in a state of Martial Law, and some fighting is happening in the Capital, nothing else is available.
Jack nods. "Interesting. Close the database, it's of no concern to us at the moment."
"Closing."
Jack nods. "Interesting. Close the database, it's of no concern to us at the moment."
"Closing." "What now?" Davis asked.
Jack picks up his tea again and resumes sipping at the liquid. "Well, you've got your information, take a look at it. See if you find what you're looking for."
