A visit to Trasa? That sounded nicer than it should, considering she was supposed to be a sarcastic, unemotional bitch. "That would be fun," she said sincerely, grinning. Her friends at home would laugh their asses off to see this, the bastards.

If Allison didn't know better, she'd wonder if she was the one driving him off. Wait, what was she thinking? She probably was. "Bye," she said softly, sighing after he was gone. Now all she had to look forward to was shredding Bobo's ass...

nearby a Crate of TSD equipment decloaks and a PADD teleports infront of Allisons feet

Wha-huh-whaaaa? Moving with blinding speed, Allison managed to catch the stuff before it fell off the branch, hauling it into her lap instead and beginning to examine it.

inside is 3 Artusion Crystals,2 Hookups for the suits and 1 note, the note says

"My dear friend i have left this note behind so you may have the joy of recharging your Stealth suit faster then before, Inside is 3 Artusion Crystals, Artusion Crystals are Crystals that hold Strong energy emissions and we use them in most of our tech, i recently found a way to trasphere it's power to the suits so they recharge faster, here is what you must do,

1:Attach the Hookup to one of the Crystals

2:hook the other end of it to the Suits main Power Grid on the Wrist pad (the Power meter)

3:Press a small botton that's marked Jarga, it means Recharge suit.

in about a hour your suit or suits are recarged quickly, pluse it's a cleaner energy sorce and don't worry, these Crystals last forever.

Whoa. Sweet! It even came with a manual! Scanning the instructions, Allison grinned, the expression at once devious and heartfelt. This merited something big, really big...

'A gift from Hylis? Weaponry??' He looked up at her quizzically.
He cocked his head to the side.
'I hope you don't plan on using anything but Your choice of weaponry.' Including that damned suit. He added quietly

"I will fight with my chosen weapon, which is sufficiently low-tech enough for a gibbering idiot with a 2 by 4 to combat effectively. Might still be too advanced for Bobo though."

In Trasa, the Great Reborn Temple

Hylis:Reborn Master Thrsa i am back to compleate the Emotion Purge of Love

Thrsa:right this way young Hylis

they walk through many arcives of Trasian Lore and TSD books until they reach the Main purging chambers

Thrsa:sit down in the Middel of the Room young Trasian

Hylis walks into the middle of the Room

Thrsa:i sense that you really need this purge before this emotion destroys you, we shall begin immeadiatly.

OOC:the Emotion Purge of love is a complex ritual that all TSD troopers and reborn have to go through

Toby listens, and thinks for a moment...
'Baggy red, you have what, maybe a gun, or at least four knives.' He looked at her, eyebrow raised. 'The element of stealth in concealment of weapons, means you have to wear clothes where bulges aren't noticeable.'
'I don't wear concealed.' He reaches slowly to his gun, safety on, and hefts the rather large 13mm by its barrel.

Toby listens, and thinks for a moment...

Several cans of hairspray hung from her belt. "That answer your question, Rambo? Neither knives nor guns, but hair care products."

In Trasa, Purging Chamber


Hylis meditates, purging all traces of the emotion "love"

Thrsa:your doing excellent, you might be ready to leave by midnight

hylis:i shall stay as long as this emotion remains

Hylis:yes master.

Thrsa:you have feelings for this girl?

Hylis:as a friend, she seems so strong and she appreciates out music my master

Thrsa:indeed, are you sure that this cannot Mutate into the Emotion "Love'? a warrior cannot fight with love in his heart,

Hylis:don't worry my master, it will not happen.

Thrsa:good, now i shall leave you and nobody shall enter this chamber until midnight

Hylis:i shall continue to meditate.

Thrsa leaves the room and locks it behind him

'I don't suffer from brash attacks. This is custom made to stop rather powerful people tearing large holes in me.' He blinked.
'Wouldn't that only work on Hylis? But Ad - Bobo?' Quizzical look.

Allison sighed. Did no man take hairspray seriously? This was some pretty powerful stuff! "Not the way I use it," she replied with a cocky grin. "You just gotta be creative."

Toby coughed into his hand. 'Creativity, is something I've had to subsist on for a while.' He blinked. Something was happening, the net traffic, so much like a liquid before, was now frozen solid. Information was focused on someone outside his network. Before he disconnected from the uplink, he recieved a message. garbled though it was.
'I'm coming.'

'Allison, are you going to asphyxiate him? Or do you have something a little more sinister in mind?' Small bemused grin, although inside, he was frantic. Someone breached my security, and sent me a message, and I can't even trace them!

"Sinister? Me? Whatever gave you that idea?" Batting her eyes, Allison paused suddenly. Why did she get the feeling he wasn't quite all there for a moment? "Hey, something wrong?"

'Maybe.' He checked all the security nodes, and was promptly shoved away. This was serious. Those barriers looked official... The government was chasing a criminal... And before those damned barriers stopped him accessing the net, that person sent him a private linkup message.
Toby blinked, external set, gasped.

'Tiriel!' He exclaimed.

Maybe something was wrong? Wasn't that kind of a more certain thing? Before Allison could reply, he was speaking again, and she was officially weirded out. Tiriel? "The hell?"

A Teleport starts and Hylis reappears in the Forest by his favorite spot high in the Trees

This was simply the day of Random Occurrances. Once Allison accepted that, the rest was easy to deal with. "Hey Hylis," she said mildly, waving at him from her own tree. "Thanks for the rest of the shibby stuff. Repayment is forthcoming. So how was home?"

Hylis:it was pause ok.

Hylis activates his cloak and crawls to his Treefortress that he made 2 days ago while Climbing Trees

"Okay?" Something didn't sound right. Dramatic pauses were never good, right? Allison frowned, wondering if she'd have to minister to a distressed friend already. She just wasn't good at that ministering crap. If she could even find him--where the hell did he go this time? "What's wrong?"

Hylis is already too far away to hear her

Hylis:jasu oas otta pasgt prasga mians

Sighing, Allison banged her head very lightly on the trunk behind her. Dammit.

Hylis Takes out a Shard of a Artusion Crystal and drains his emotions into it Telepathicly

hylis:husar jusira hyars Hyruls safra

Was it something she said?

Hylis compleates his Draining of Emotion then he goes back outside the Fort leaving the Crystal on a pedalstool

Hylis:I am here allison

"Cool, cause I was about to doze off." Opening her eyes, Allison surfaced from the light daze she'd fallen into, her gaze glittering green. "So what's up? You sounded kind of off when you said your trip was okay. Is something wrong?"

Hylis Decloaks and she finds that he is sitting on a branch with a blank look on his face


Hylis:I have compleated the Emotion Purge

That did not look good. "Emotion purge?" she asked carefully, leaning back and idly stroking a lock of hair. "What's that?"

Hylis:it's when ALL emotions are purged from my mind and soul. they do not exist anymore.

"Oh." Allison fell silent, staring at the ground with a blank expression of her own. So he voluntarily purged his emotions? This would take more planning than she'd thought... "How did it go?"

Hylis:all the emotions i felt before are now destroyed,the Reborn Master helped me through the implantation of the Jisasta

"I see." She went quiet again. What could one say to that? Everything seemed kinda... inadequate.

Hylis notices that she is suddenly quiet

Hylis:is there somthing wrong allison?

"No." Just that she needed to do some serious thinking before she acted. Grinning brightly, Allison propped her chin on her knee. "I'd think my silence would be better than my sharp tongue, but to each their own."

Hylis presses a botton on his Wrist Padd

Hylis:i want you to know somthing, I managed to get permission to keep one emotion, that is happiness
hylis looks to the Trees

Hylis:wanna go climbing my friend?

Hylis Smiles warmly

Wow. He got to keep happiness? Well, if there was only one emotion he could keep, it should probably be that. "Sure," Allison replied with a grin, making sure the box was well balanced before waving to Toby. "Let's go."

Hylis immeadiatly does a great leap and goes over halfway up the Tree in one jump

Hylis: i forgot to mention that my Jumping capability's have also been modifyed

Hylis Starts to climb with great speed

"Really? Hadn't noticed." Grinning cheekily, Allison began climbing quickly, wondering if she could beat him to the top.

Hylis climbing get's faster as he moves up the Tree he does another Jump to another Tree higher up

"Hey!" Gathering her strength, Allison pushed off from the tree and soared through the air, smacking into the trunk of his own with a mighty thwap. "Ow." But she kept climbing, slowly catching up with him.

Hylis Jumps higher and it seems like he's running

Hylis:FEELING TIRED YET?

"Brat!" Almost imperceptibly Allison's muscles swelled, becoming slightly bulkier as she began to climb with more speed. "Hell no, I'm not tired! I'm just getting warmed up! But I won't mind if you need to take a breather, just lets me get farther ahead!"

Hylis almost reaches the Top

Hylis:You are gonna be WAY behind me!

Gains more speed

By this time Allison was almost at running speed herself, sleek muscles rippling as she gained on him. She was gonna catch him before he got to the top, she knew it... "No way! I'm so totally gonna win!"

Hylis does a last effort to dive through the top of the Trees and he almost get's there when he sees that Allison is Very close to beating him

Laughing brightly, Allison scrambled the last few feet and broke through the leaves first, feeling the sun on her face before falling backwards. Catching herself on the branch she swung around a time or two, still chuckling in delight. "Woo! Good race, dude!"

Hylis takes a dose of BloodRage

Hylis:yes, a excellent race.

Allison could feel the Wild rushing through her blood, eyes almost glowing with it as she grinned and dangled from the branch. It was an odd expression, at once beautiful and rough, the expression of a beast playing happily in its home. God, she loved the woods sometimes. "We gotta do this some more."

Hylis takes out a Orcarina and starts to play "The Trasian heart" slowly

Damn. If anything had charms to soothe the savage beast it was music, and Allison found herself calming as he began to play. Finally swinging up on the branch to better listen, the feral glitter slowly left her gaze as her muscles slimmed once more. Pretty...

He had come somewhat late in the curriculum, but that was cause of...pressing matters, most importantly, the kingdom he had to run. But he left that in charge of his most trusted advisors, and he 'disappeared' as a regular kid with jet black hair in an organized yet chaotic appearence, auburn eyes, and a bunch of books. Then he heard music, so he set off towards the sound and listened.

Huh? Oh, he was talking now. Sighing in contentment, Allison smiled slightly, cocking her head. "Pretty. Do you see her often?"

Before she could even think Allison wiped the tear away, reacting to a friend in distress. "My mom died too," she confessed lowly, a sadness of her own creeping into her voice. "A few months ago."

Toby wakes up, a headache bouncing around in his head like a frenzied hodgehog, all sharp edges.
He must have fallen out of the tree. Ouch.

He gets up and checks himself for injury, and miraculously - almost magically, he's perfectly fine, except for the stiffness that heavy impacts bring, and the beginnings of bruises on his arms and chest.

'Ow. I'm going to be sorry in the morning...' He heard sounds in the distance. An ocarina? And someone trudging rather haphazardly through the undergrowth.

So... Tiriel was alive... And running from his grandfather. Go Tiriel! He grinned and set off for the music.

Beautiful. The sun was rising. This region had amazing mornings. The sun emerged from the tree induced haze, and climbed slowly up into the sky.
Neither opponents had killed each other, his partner was free. The world was starting to look more and more beautiful.

Music could fix a lot of things. Listening to the song, Allison gave a happy sigh when it was done, her momentary pain wiped away like marks off a chalkboard. "You've been doing a lot of singing," she said with a slight smile. "I should return the favor." She began softly, her voice low and surprisingly honest, as if the song truly meant something to her.

Smiling softly, Allison committed the song to memory as best she could. Even if she didn't know what it meant, she could still remember it... "Thank you," she said again and meant it, leaning against the tree trunk. "Can I ask a question?"

Damn. Allison hadn't been that confident he was gonna say yes. "Okay," she said slowly, searching for words. "If you knew there was something you should do, but there was no way you could do it alone and there wasn't anyone you could go to for help, would you do it anyway?"

Hylis:only if you know in your heart and mind if it is Just.

Allison nodded slightly, looking troubled. "But if it were literally impossible to do alone?"

Hylis:then i wouldn't suggest that you try, you could recive wounds, death or Emotional Pain from it, want to listen to a song I wrote 2 years ago? it's a slow one

"Thanks." Yeah, wounds and death would suck ass. Laughing slightly at that, Allison smiled and gestured. "Lay it on me."

Listening to his song, Allison abruptly realized how stupid she was being. The sun was shining, there was a breeze, and beautiful music... Why be melancholy? Murmuring her thanks at the melody's end, she suddenly gave a mischievious grin, reaching out to tap him lightly on the shoulder. "Tag! You're it!" Laughing, she leaped to a nearby tree, pausing to see if he'd follow.

Hylis puts his Orcarina away and cloaks, then he appears beside her and lightly toutches her shoulder

Hylis:now YOUR "It"

runs into the forests lower levels humming "Trinity's melody" along the way loudly

Yelping in surprise, Allison laughed and whirled on him, following easily. Dashing up, she passed him and tagged his shoulder on the way. "IT!"

Hylis uses his Teleportation Device to teleport above Allison

Hylis:GOTCHA! YOUR IT!

Tags allison and teleports to his Fort

The yelps of laughter were invigorating, and again he reached Allison. Just in time to be proclaimed 'It'.

Tag! He remembered playing that, when he was like seven! He grinned and chased after the two.

OOC: No fair teleporting, man. Advanced or not, it's just cheating.

OOC:don't worry, he only is using it once, besides, his little Treefort is easy to find.


IC:Hylis:You will have to do better then That!

Laughing as she got the other guy now, Allison darted off into the underbrush, wondering if she could evade them--or barring that, ambush them in a clever trap. Man, she loved this! Like being 5 again...

Where was he? Allison was beginning to get confused, and intrigued. Combined with the excitement of the woods, it was a heady mix indeed. "Hylis? Come out come out, wherever you are..." Hmm... Hopefully their third player hadn't heard that...

Hylis Leaps from tree-to-tree as silent as the forest around him and he climbs the trees faster

"Hylis!" Allison's voice was sweet and cajoling, to counter the predatory grin on her face. "Where are you? I wanna play..."

Hylis Tackles her

"AIE!" Finding herself tackled to the ground, Allison shoved hard to the side, effectively rolling them both. Pinning him to the ground, she grinned and said, "Hi there! Hey, he's over here!"

Hylis reaches for his cloak botton and presses it and squirms out of her gri[

hylis:you cannot catch me and hold me indefinatly

Hylis Does great leaps onto the Tree's

Brat! "You just wait, I'll do it and you'll be left breathless in wonder at how I accomplished it!" Allison declared grandly, pushing up from the forest floor and following him on the ground. He had to be going this way... "Just you wait!"

hylis stops in the Trees and holds his breath and makes no sounds, he's now praticlly invisible to the eye and ears

She was beginning to think she made a wrong turn... The sounds of his flight had become fainter and fainter, seeming to recede into the distance as if he'd far outstripped her--or she'd gone the wrong way. Sighing, Allison finally came to a stop and turned. Her face registered surprise for an instant, then anger, and her lengthened claw-nails caught blood an instant before the lights went out with a burst of pain in her skull.

Allison regained consciousness slowly, aware of a deep throbbing ache in her right temple. Ow. Ow. Ow. The word reverbated in her head with each heartbeat, and she wished she were dead. Or the other guy. Yeah. She wished he was dead. If she ever saw him again, she'd turn wishes into reality. Groaning softly, she pushed up from the ground and rested her back against the treetrunk, feeling her head gingerly. Just a little blood, not too bad...

He drops to the forest floor and runs to Allison

Hylis:Allison? ALLISON!

Ow. His voice was echoing most unpleasantly. Groaning again, Allison rubbed at her eyes and gazed up at him in mingled annoyance and amusement. "Yes, that's my name. It's 2003, the season is early fall, your name is Hylis, and I'm officially not brain-damaged. Is something wrong?"

hylis notices that the loudness of his voice hurts her so he lowers his voice to a wisper

Hylis:You collapsed in the middle of the forest while we where playing Tag, how do you feel?

Hylis feels fear for his friend

Wait--she had just collapsed? He'd seen that, but... not the man who'd attacked her? F*ck, this was a little disturbing. On the other hand, at least this way she could save some face without revealing anything he didn't need to know. "I tripped," Allison grumbled, supporting herself lightly on the tree as she stood. "And I think I might have hit my head on something, but it feels like a glancing blow, if that. I'm cool." He got a bright, reassuring smile to send the message home.

Hylis:it's your anger that flared it up i think, somthing similar happens to a Trasian except a Trasaian is out for hours, not seconds, so you cannot lie to me, and how i know is beacuse i can SENSE your anger telepathicly.

Thank you, Captain America, Allison thought somewhat grimly. While he was her friend, she wasn't going to let him in on every tiny nuance of her life. Hell, it was 'because' he was her friend that she wouldn't. "I was pissed at tripping," she admitted with a rueful grin. "I'm usually more graceful than that, sorry."

hylis nods and understands the Hint that she dosn't want to talk about it anymore


Hylis: i can play a song for ya, that might cheer ya up, i know a good one

smiles warmly at his friend

Smiling slightly, Allison took a moment to thank God he'd either believed her or gotten the hint. "Sure. Thanks."

Unlike before, this song didn't uplift Allison so much as depress the hell out of her. Dark worlds were things she didn't particularly want to consider, not now or ever. "Lovely," she said softly when he finished, glancing around at the deepening afternoon. "I don't think Bobo's gonna show, do you?"

Happy songs were good. Grinning, Allison lounged against the tree and listened, letting her body heal the rest of the damage subtly. "Sweet."

Allison shook her head slightly, still smiling. He slept in the woods? That could cause problems... Oh well, she'd be careful. "Nice," she said a final time, turning to leave after blowing him a teasing kiss.

--Late that night--

The moon hung low, icy white in the sky. It shed plenty of light even through the trees, illuminating a strange creature as it padded through the forest. Its fur was a deep, strange russet, framing a foxlike face atop a feline body, deep golden eyes dominating it all. Stalking through the trees, it halted and gave a long, yowling howl, calling for its companion.

Hylis is on his feet immeadiatly with Plasma Pistol in hand, he makes sure it's on heavy Stun and he keeps it close then plays "Dark World"

It looks straight at him, cocking its head at the sound. Then, giving a vulpine grin, it flicked its tail and bounded off. He would be arriving shortly...

Hylis Hears that it's leaving but dosn't lower his guard

She had only been pacing for a few moments when a larger ball of fur landed on her back, knocking the breath out of her. Growling, she snapped playfully at the bigger male, wriggling out to begin circling. After but a moment or two she lunged, and they began fighting and wrestling on the ground.

Hylis hears a noise that's seems like somthing is struggling so he set's the Pistol to it's maximum Stun setting and play's "friendship"

That music was not conducive to a fight. It caught her offguard, allowing the male to pounce and pin her to the ground.

~Ye cry enough?~ He growled lowly, the animalistic language of their kind.

Before Hylis could fall asleep a man was there, perched on the branch beside him. Dressed in jeans and a black leather jacket, he looked something like a beefier James Dean, but with blazing red hair. And eyes that gleamed yellow in the moonlight. "Hey. Hey kid."

Hylis is instantly on his feet with Plasma Pistol in hand

Hylis:Who are you! how did you fimd this place????

He raised a hand, seemingly unconcerned. "Relax. I'm not gonna bite you. Siddown, I got a proposition for you."

hylis:state your proposition sir then begone, i must leave in 2 days for a BloodRage filtering and i need to conserve my streangth to survive it

"You know, kid, you're gonna give yourself a heart attack." Leaning back as if he had a sturdy wall behind him instead of open air, the man held out one hand. A rock was in the palm, dull gray on both sides but with a streak of pure crystal running through the middle. "Here. Take it."

Hylis takes it cautously

"That? It's a pet rock." Shrugging dismissively, he hopped down to the ground, pausing to address Hylis from down there. "Hold it in your left hand and think of an emotion, and you'll be able to feel it. When you don't want to feel it anymore, put it in your right hand and think about it again, and it'll go back in. See ya." And he was gone, almost as if he had never been.

Hylis goes into his sleeping bag and sleeps

The next morning found Allison wandering around the school grounds, tired but extremely happy. She'd done a good thing! Grinning, she bent over to sniff at a rose. The world was, for once, beautiful.

Hylis awakens to find a new day, he goes outside on a Tree branch and starts his meditations

In a sudden spurt of youthful exuberance, Allison tried a headstand and fell flat on her butt. Oops. Looked like some things were still beyond her.

Having arrived back at school, no worse for wear, and very tired, running in circles, and riding his motorcycle about the grounds. He felt like pissing off the head gardener.

Quickly he uplinks to his Prabati, and tells it to meet him outside his window, then gathers his possessions and shoves them hazardly into his bag.

Two seconds later his finger tightened on the trigger.

The resulting sound echoed off the trees, and several birds took flight in horror. A boom that made windows in the school vibrate for four seconds.

The now headless body of the donkey hit the ground. The blood splatter spread four metres behind the donkey, and even into the trees.

Toby shucked the clip and checked the barrel for residue. He then slammed the clip home, flicked on the safety, and walked back to the dorm.

Toby put the gun in its holster and the holster on his bedside table.

'Just what did you have in mind, Drone?' Toby was a little scathed that anyone had even called him unsynchronised, considering his occipital jack was highly advanced, allowing a level of communication unachieved previously by uplink attempts.
'I am Toby Irael of Cathedral City. I've never heard of the Synchronised race.' He had heard of Zero One. And S.H.O.D.A.N. who he'd had the pleasure of talking to briefly, and was very impressed by the Avatar's capacity to express herself in ways most non organics could not seem to grasp.

"Sure, tonight is great." She scribbled her cell phone number down on a piece of paper, and handed it to Karli. "I have no idea what room I'm in, its somewhere around here, but tis way, you can call me when you find out what time the movie is and what time to pick you up," she finished smiling.

"Alright," Jessica responded, pocketing the piece of paper. "I'll see ya later," she finished, swingin her back pack over her shoulder.

He had a refreshing warm shower, allowing his gills to moisten. They were a healthy light pinkish colour, unlike so many others in the City. They took of their shirts and you'd swear they'd been filleted.

Toby's Nictitating membrane slid over his eyes, allowing him to see.
His back ached with the torment of long unused muscles. Stratching the tension heightened, then fled pleasantly.

Motion beyond the steam made him snap his head up to stare.
There was another figure, features in shadow.
'Who are you?' He shouted, searching for a weapon to defend himself with.

'I'm not here... Not yet...' Said the figure. He came closer, the neon light suddenly falling on soft features, and deep brown eyes, framed in milky white skin and dark brown hair.

'Tiriel?!' He took a step back and slipped abruptly on the tiled floor, his head smacking heavily against the wall. 'Ah!'
As Tiriel walked under the water, it slipped through him.
'I'm not here... I'm using our uplinks to project myself to you. I'll be there soon.' Tiriel reached and touched him...
Then he was gone, sprawled against the wall, and breathing heavily.

"Alright," Jessica responded, pocketing the piece of paper. "I'll see ya later," she finished, swingin her back pack over her shoulder. Karli simply wave good-bye to Jessica and moved along, she had some things to attend to in her on-campus quarters, so she whent outside and located her Honda Gold Wing ABS, hopped on after packing up all her things, and fired it up, she intended to move it closer to her living area, the trip didn't take more than a few minutes, she parked the bike, and went to find her living area.

Jessica all but skipped happily back to her room, and jumped onto the bed. She grabbed her ce player, and popped in a CD, and put on the head phones, waiting fro Karli to call her.
