WE of Chibuppi are appalled beyond words by the distasteful rantings of Sino. It's funny to me that people who call themselves "christians" really aren't Christ-like or as Christ-like as they'd like us to believe. The way I've always understood the teachings of Christ, there were these funny lines such as "Love One Another," and "Judge not yet ye be judged,". Now am I way off in my interpretation of those two lines? Despite our own confusion as to whether or not by outlawing gay marriage (OOC: it was an issue) we are ourselves in contradiction of these UN resolutions, as a member of the United Nations, the Holy Empire of Pantocratoria is in complete agreement that Sino is in violation of at least the first two resolutions mentioned by the Celdonian Foreign Minister. For this reason, the Imperial Government of Pantocratoria supports the Celdonian position on this matter. Human beings deserve to be treated like human beings, regardless of sexuality.

There is a rumour that Gen. Liu has flown out of Sino and has arrvied aboard the supercarrier ARSNV Chiang Kai-shek (Flagship of the ARSN 2nd Pacific Fleet), to direct and co-ordinate field action. Such reports are baseless on fact and are to be treated as rumours. Meanwhile, the 3rd Pacific Fleet has sent out J-8C strike fighters to harass and attack any vessels from Peng-Pau they spot.

Eastern borders of Peng-Pau...

A white lorry came to a halt at the edge of a cliff somewhere on the eastern border of Peng-Pau.

The back opened, and from within appeared six people. All wore civilian clothing, and all but one carried a utility belt.

Another 4 people stepped out of the lorry carrying a large square box. They placed it down on the top of the edge of the cliff, and returned to the lorry. They reappeared a few minutes later, two carrying a large satellite-dish like structure each, one carrying two smaller versions, one in each hand, and the third carrying a small laptop computer.

One of the large dishes was placed 100 metres to the left of the large box, sitting on the edge of the cliff, and the other 100 metres to the right. Someone trailed a thick cable between each of them and the large box.

The two smaller dishes were set out 200 metres left and right respectively from the large box. These too were connected to the box. The man with the laptop connected a cable from its LAN card to the box, and he, with another of the team, walked back over to the lorry. They entered it, and emerged a minute or so later, each holding a coil of thick cable, reeling it out as they walked. One end of each disappeared into the lorry, and the two men uncoiled the rest of the wire as they reached the box and plugged the cables into the box.

It emmitted a low humming sound, then suddenly the side panel lit up, a series of red, blue, and green lights. A woman stepped over in front of the laptop, her left arm encased in a plaster cast, and her left cheek slightly discoloured, and tapped a sequence of codes into it.

...The two large dishes reorientated themselves to point straight upwards, the two smaller ones reorientating to 45 degrees, each pointing in opposing directions along the cliff...

She typed a few more codes in, and the box stepped up from a low hum to a high whine.

The team stepped away from the machinery.

...A loud crack accompanied the appearence of a sheet of light across the cliff edge. It spread upwards, one side continuing leftwards to a similar setup 20 miles away, and the other rightwards and meeting another such array of machinery...

The woman smirked triumphantly.

"And so it begins..." she said.

They stood there for a few moments, admiring the sight of the efforts of their labour.

We have not taken any action against Sino as of yet, apart from making our goals clear to them.

Sino has thus far mobilised their forces, but we have yet to engage them. Our troops and aircraft are ready should they be needed, but we hope that they will not be needed in this endeavour...
