Qui: I'll just have to make new one's for Azari....*he said as he walked by Kenja*

Kenja: Weird foreplay...*she rolled her eyes and laughed*

Qui looked over his shoulder and continued*

Rave smiled slightly. "You always end up with valor and flare...I don't know how you do it...." she walked to him. "But you do."

"Hey qui do you know who my father was?"

Coro shrugged and smiled. "I don't know. It just comes naturally to me. It seems I can;t do anything without it turning out that way."

Thank you, Kenja. I'm okay, at least.

Qui looked back and laughed. "Nope...actually...i think he's in that zoo on forty fifth street..." *he chuckles to himself and walks away...

Kenja: well he's no help....


Rave looks at Coro and hugs him. "You just did it again."

"Well you should know. He knw Rave befor she was a vampire. At least one of our parents knew eachother!"

Coro smiled and hugged her. "Really? I didn't even think that was very valorous or flairy ... whatever."

Kenja: Coro knew her before she was a vampire...Qui is Rave's son...and was born after she was embraced. Complicated, but easy if you're part of the family. *she smiles softly* He knows nothing of anything but how to maim, kill,disable, and disorient anyone.

Rave: Then you are much deceived. * her wings folded neatly behind her. She had a great burden on her shoulders, and it would be hers to bare for her entire existance.*

"Well he now knows that our parents path's crossed," Joshua says

Coro smiled, looking down into her eyes. "You've felt it," he said softly. "You know it. You can tell. It ..."

He looked up to the sky, where one sole star twinkled in the sky. "He ... Is coming. And you're going to have to face him. But ..." He looked out across the mansion at the assembled cast around them, in their various places. "We'll all be there to help you."

Rave smiled. He understood partly of what was happening, which was more of a clue than anyone else had around them, give or take Qui. She looked up at Coro and sighed heavily. "I'm afraid in the end, I must be alone..." she laughed slightly. "But until then your company is much appreciated.

Kenja: And? *she asked. She had no idea where his logic was leading*

Kain arrives in the area, his thoughts still trying to think what to say to Ravelyn. He wanted forgiveness for his crimes...but how could see give it? Kain constantly doubted his logic for coming back here....to talk to Ravelyn about it....to find answers...

"Sometimes it feels like the worlds on my shoulders," Rave sang softly. "Everyone's leaning on me. And sometimes it feels like the world's almost over. But then he comes back to me." She walked alongside Coro watching the waves of the ocean softly caress the sand.

Kain walked around the area, his thoughts buzzing with moral questions, self-doubting. He walked for a little while, slowly his mind wondering. Kain felt the breeze across his face, it was kind of nice.

Walking accross the lwoer part of the beach, he sat down upon a rock, and looked back. His cloven feet left footprints in the sand whihc where unmistakably his. Sighing, he picked up a pebble, and threw it into the ocean. It rocketed accross, skipping many times accross the waves.

Reminded of his curse Kain stared at the ocean, at the foam on the waves and the crashing of the water upon the rocks. The sea breeze was refreshing and relaxing, but it did nothing to ease Kain's mind. The sun flickered accross the water, yet Kain still saw no appeal to it, such was his curse from the Seer.

Coro chuckled. "And he'll be back. Oh, yes, he'll be back."

He looked up at the sky, which was still dark from Coro's slight transformation. The single star twinkled. "Trust me on that one."

Rave: I do hope your right...I deeply hope you're right...*she smiles, and senses a new presence. The mark given from Kain hides his identity, so she doesn't recognize him as her former fledgling.

Kain had a brief conversation with Cloak.

Freedom offers me nothing, this purpose offers great things I feel.

The ocean came in slightly more, the previous three taloned footprints where being washed away. Kain decided he best not stay in that part and walked along the beach, accasionally walking in the water as it came up to his feet.

OOC: Where is Daniella? I'll be RPing her with this nation.

(OOC Come in as you wish and how you want. Could be interesting results with her and Rave meeting...they have never met before.)

Kain saw Daniella walking in on the beach. He was welcome to have her with him...but was afraid. he had never in all his life been terrified, and Ravelyn he did not want to be on the wrong side of. He was not proud of his actions...Kain was begining to think that he might have let her die if he was given the chance again...

He was truely terrified of what might happen. He did not know what to expect....but he had to face her again...to seek answers to his own questions...to ask forgiveness. Not that kain thought himself worthy of it, but he despeartly wanted it...

Rave: Kain...*she said softly to Coro* He has returned...*she walks towards the presence quickly...

Joshua rubs his head abit more then sits up

Kaicontinued to look at the waves, his mind thinking of what to say to her, he lacked the courage to go up to her and speak. He feared her wrath...her judgement. He was fairly certain she would not harm him physically, the blows dealt would be ones of words. Those wounds where far worse to bear.

He felt her coming, he felt with dread...like a child who knew he had done something wrong and it's parents coming to see what it had done wrong and punish it. He simply looked at the floor, still sitting upon a small rock. His cloak was a light blue colour with shades of purple, it did not floak around, it acted normally and was around Kain's side.

BUMP DAMMIT!

"Coro," Rave said softly, in no more than a whisper. "Come with me...there are things that need to be done." She said walking over the beach toward Kain who was not in sight as of yet.

Kain looked into a small pool of water, whihc had been formed as part of the shallow cave had dripped the rainwater.

Drip, drip, drip

Kain sighed and took little solice from the coldness of the cave. He continued to stare at the puddle.

Drip, drip, drip

Kain still could not find the words. He didn't know what to say to Ravelyn.....he just did not.

Kain got up. He had enough of waiting, being so inward and self-pitying. If there was something that he could do for Rave he would do it. He got up slowly and walked outside onto the beach....where Rave could see him, but Kain had not noticed her, he was so deep in thought...

Rave met Kains gaze. She was completely speechless. She put her pale fingers to her face, her crimson eyes looking over her former fledgling. Her wings closed behind her. It was now clear to Kain that she had not told him everything. She held back tears in her eyes and looked at him, in complete silence. Kain... was the only audible thing she could produce.

He turned and looked at the floor, he could not say anything...his mind was shaken up. He had nothing to say, there where no words. No action he could do to heal this scar.

He looked up ashamed, willing to face whatever he may face. He simply replied in a quiet tone, gone was his usualk confidance and strength of will, replaced with a deep shame, like a child who sought the forgiveness of a parent who had inflicted a great punishment. Kain had no bitterness...he knew what he did was wrong. But he hesitated to ask himself the question of would he do it again if given the choice? If he would have faced this immense punishment once again.

For which love would he choose if he had to make that choice again? The love of one to a child to a parent, one which had only shown infinate kindness and sacrifice. But on the other was this new love, one which had no real reasoning behind. kain did not understand it. He had never been in love before. It was Daniella....everything about her. Kain refused to ask himself the question, least the answer destroy him. He wished he did not have to choose....but he did make his choice. It was the what ifs that drove him mad.

"Rave" was all Kain responded with.

"I am responsible for my fledglings," she began. "Over many years was I trained...and many years did he teach me. That is why I am feared Kain. I took the time to learn...I trained for so long that the blood in my veins began to shatter. That is why I'm respected...and that is why I have managed to survive for so long. What I bestowed upon you took as a gift...you never saw the curse that came with it. When I took you under my wing, I was ready to. I was ready. I possess a blood stone Kain. I need never kill a mortal for the rest of my existance...and my fledglings can feed off of me...and I can provide for them everything and anything they need. If they fall, I am there to catch them." She circled around him momentarily.
"There is no way that she would have survived if Azari had not come to you. There is no way you would have survived if Qui had come alone. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had been there..."

Kain simply stood there and absorbed all of this. KAin had not known to what to expect, but this was not it. Kain said nothing and heard all that she said, not turning as she walked around him. Allowing her to see him, to analyis him. Kain felt totally hopeless.... Kain knew that without Qui or Azari he would have died, perhaps through the thirst...perhaps through suicide. Perhaps. Perhaps. But what of Daniella...?

"I'm not responsible for her Kain," she said softly. "You know of whom I speak. It was best you took time in seeing me...for my first reaction was not a pleasant one. I would say that I wash my hands of you, however you are no longer in my hands, but Azari's."
She turned back toward the mansion. "You could have been great Kain...you could have been feared and respected...but if you are not trained, no one takes you seriously." She began walking back. She needed to see Vaughn...she needed to see him so badly. She needed to tell him of what had happened. The death of her sire...everything.
"I follow the night," she reprised as she walked. "Can't stand the light. When will I begin, to live again. Why live life from dream to dream?" She sang softly...then whispered. "And dread the day, when dreaming ends."

Kain thought over the words, they where absorbed, the guidance granted by her was wonderful, yet the tone in which she said it was not.

"Yes so many paths I have now closed off...yet one question I ask. I...I love Daniella. I know this to be true. If...you where in my position Rave, and Vaughn was thier lying thier in your arms dying, and you had a choice...what would you do? To let him pass away and live forever dreaming of his love being returned without refrain, left only with few memories and the eternal question of what if? Or would you turn him to save him, and have his presence with you for eternity, to share this love forever. I know....I know it was wrong...but. But could you have done that? Let Vaughn die and knowing that for all eternity you would never see him again, to be anguish with those bittersweet memories? To never had said I love you with all your heart...to never show that love?" Kain asked, as he looked straight at her.

Kain knew this was an extremely difficult question to answer...one Kain had to answer himself, and in a way, got the question wrong and right at the same time. He just could not decide if the alternitive was so much better....to let her die.

Rave turned around quickly at the mention of Vaughn's name and struck him across the face with the palm of her hand...hard. "[b]Never speak of Vaughn in such away! You do not know KAIN! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF US! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH! We went through heaven and hell together literally. When he lay dying in my arms that day, I killed myself! I sacrificed my entire being...my existance, my essence, my life in order for him to live. I died Kain. He apparently did not see things the same way...he sent my soul back to the body I had sacrificed myself for. And with my own in his arms...I travelled farther than this worlds bounds, went through HELL to redeem his soul from the flames! I love him with all my heart Kain...in every aspect, I'd give my soul for him. He could not be compared to Daniella...Love is deeper than skin, and thicker than blood. Love is not wanting the best for yourself...but wanting the best for the other...and his or her best interest. Was it in her best interest, Kain, to become a vampire? To be damned for eternity...or was it in yours, so you could have her forever to hold in your arms, and you wouldn't come home at night without someone to come back to! When I sacrificed my life for him, I gave it up so he could live...so he could continue on with his life and forget about me. Because I loved him Kain...maybe you should chose your words more carefully...do you love her? Look with in your heart and uncover the truth that lays in your heart...the one you want to deny, but is now undeniable for your eyes are now opened." A tear fell from her eye as she turned slowely from him. She walked toward the ocean, the sand sweeping across the shore. She did not look back.

Kain felt that blow sting long after. He was shaken deeply by her question. Would it have been better for her if he had let her die? The simple question....it was a question Kain had not asked himself. And it disturbed him to even face that question now...

There was more to that question. In it's utterance by Rave, it opened new self-questioning for Kain. It would leave him with many sleepless nights, not that he slept much beforehand.

He asked himself truely if he loved her. if he loved her as much as he did now. No...there was a different kind of love back then. Kain had no experiance of love, but he knew now of what Rave spoke of. Back then...it had been different. It was not a love of purity, of truth. It was a slightly hollow one....

But now was different. there was something different now. Daniella had not seen all the parts of him. Now she had...something was changed.

Kain looked at Rave walking away. He felt the sting of her retort. He spoke a few words to her, humble and without any kind of bitterness.

"You teach great lessons Wise One. Forever I admire your wisdom, for I still lack much knowledge. Forgive me...I meant no disrespect. I shall reflect upon this new knowledge..."

Kain watched her walk away, and so many new questions where asked to himself. One which he asked frequencty was:

Which fate would be better for her at the time? To pass beyond the veil....to die, thier love never blossumed. Or this fate...vampirism. As Rave put it, to be damned. Perhaps I had been selfish...that love was selfish perhaps.

It was the perhapes and what ifs which drove him mad.

Rave stopped slightly, recalling the words he repeated to her which he had spoken in Velmora. A tear fell from her eye, but she could not bare to turn back. She continued walking until she reached the cliff. The seraphim spread her wings and shot up into the sky to reach the edge and gain access into her mansion. She sat on the cliff, and folded her wings. Slowely, she began to fall asleep.

Kain watched her go...he marveled at her. He wondered how he would have turned out if he had no sired Daniella. If he remained within the Shentavo family....

He had no real dreams of power. To himself he was being selfish when he became a vampire, he only wished to live his own life instead of one of servitude. Still...could he not be expected to at least be able to live a normal life? One without all of this responcibility for a nation.

But now, Kain felt a deeper responcibility for Velmora....that sense of longing for that place which he had left to its own devisings. He wondered what had happened to it while he had been away.

They shared the same experiance they did. Daniella and Kain both wished for a free life, one of independance and without the burdans of office and in her case, nobility. Kain never had to face that...he hated snobbery and royality and refused to play a part in it.

Kain had granted her that release of those responcibilities...as he had been granted it by Rave. But Kain wondered if she ever wondered about how her nation had fared after her departure. How those people who had come to respect and love thier new, young leaders would react when they had dissapeared. What effects did these two monumental actions have upon these two vastly different nations?

He did not know...but he intended to find out about Velmora. To accept his responcibility. Perhaps previously, Kain thought, I had been selfish. I was selfish to my people..leaving them like that. I was selfish in that love for her then...but what now? What now?

Kain knew....and he walked along the beach himself, and began to walk away. He thought of how he felt.

Ravelyn lay against the door, her head in her hands as she slipped of to sleep. He had not come, though she had waited for such a long time. Memories from the past had arisen. She sighed and drifted away into a dream.

Alright... here is a short summary of what's happened.
-Daja is jealous of Rave's fiance
-He attempt to "have her"
-She kills him...and doesn't see things the same way he did
-Word has spread of the rank of Rave: Seraphim
-Coro/Rave mini-fight....Coro wins.
-kain returns, though he was exiled.
-Rave slaps some sense into him and gives him a life lesson
-She is now currently asleep on the doorstep.
